The theory of Tom Hardy's Venom being in this would make a lot of sense as the only major Spidey Villain from the Maguire and Garfield movies that has not been teased at all is Venom (not counting duplicates since we have gotten multiple goblins). Also, the way JJ smiles after Sandman and Electro seem to enter the universe in that one shot seems off. Perhaps he is really the Chameleon or an alternate Mysterio...just seems odd.

While i'm interested in seeing Venom, i'm not sure i'd like to have that specific venom to interact with Holland's Spiderman, not to diss Tom Hardy, i like him, but storywise Venom already has his "perfect" bromance with Eddie, so it would be mostly BS on why would he ever leave him to bond with Peter in order to get the spiderman powers upgrade, then leave again to go for Eddie and them both hating spiderman, that Eddie seems like a chill dude, why would he hate Spiderman or Peter... i guess they can work something acceptable for motivations, but that's the Venom lore, it's Venom 101 and it's not there. They should have hinted that Venom bonded offscreen with a Spiderman before Eddie.

The Goblin without the helmet and the goggles confirms that the other two Spider-Man are in the movie because those costumes were leaked by the same person. I think Mysterio is a way more likely sixth Sinister member than Venom. Peter did also lead to Mysterio's death (esp in the public's eye); he's a traditional member; all these hijinks are up his alley; and having an MCU villain more properly grounds us in this franchise. Venom isn't villainous enough in this universe, he might be in the movie but I highly doubt as the sixth Sinister.

3:10 - my theory there is it's actually Peter intentionally letting the nanobots from his suit go onto Doc Ock's arms to immobilize him, which is why he looks kinda confused in the shot where it's spreading over Ock's arm. But whatever it is, the extra red on his arms looks sick design-wise :D
I was thinking that the Stark tech may end up fixing the flaw in Doc Ock’s arm harness, which would restore Octavius as a good person. Making it even more difficult for Peter to allow him to die.
My guess is that Maguire & Garfield won't appear until the climax of the movie, so it'd make sense that Sony wouldn't want to overhype it. Also I'm calling that Strange will be sucked into the Multiverse just prior to the final battle.

Doc Oct attacks because his arms are in control on the bridge until Stark Nano-Tech helps him take over the arms and regain his sanity... which is why Doc Oct helps Peter and friends. And yeah, that's definitely a 3 on 3 match between Spider-Men, Electro, Sandman and The Lizard
@@TheFrostFilesPodcast I think in the Daily Bugle set piece Doc Ock and Green Goblin kill each other, with Doc Ock sacrificing himself to protect Peter. Peter gets shook up from the experience, and goes to steal the box from Dr Strange because he's seen the villains can be redeemed. That's why in the final battle only Electro, Sandman, and Lizard are present - Doc Ock and Goblin have been removed by that point.
Or a 5 on 3, Doc Oc is almost definitely gonna end up as a good guy, and the invisible character attacking one of the villains is most likely Miles Morales

You summed it up perfectly with Garfield and Maguire. Why bring their villains and the idea of a multiverse and then not include their respective Spider-Man's? They are in it, 1000%. They are just saving it for the theatre releases and to keep people talking and making them want to go and see it.
Well Electro does appear blue in the trailer, it seems to be the moment when he first arrives to the MCU, maybe he gets de-powered somehow or his powers get enhanced. Hence the exoskeleton with what it seems to be an arc reactor on his chest
Whether Doc Ock is stealing the nanotech or Peter is forcefully sending it into the arms, I think that they'll end up fixing whatever relapse the Arms went through to allow them take back over. I can imagine being torn through an interdimensional portal and (possibly) meeting 5 (or 4) other villains who hate Spider-Man would allow them to reinfluence Otto. The nano-technology fixing the inhibitor would make sense as to why the arms stay red for the rest of the time we see them. Also curious as to whether or not we'll see multiple versions of each of the villains, explaining Devoe's costume change. Strange mentions visitors from "every universe" but we'll presumably only see 2 (Raimi and Webb)? Also I imagine that Peter's new upgraded suit at the end is the remainder of the Iron Spider suit going onto and enhancing his Far From Home suit with just the gold parts. Would explain why he has a cloth mask in that suit instead of a nano-tech one.
I have a theory. In the trailer we hear Pete say, “ I can’t save everyone” then we see MJ & Ned both fall. Although Ned Holds on. I think Peter chooses to save MJ instead of Ned and this propels him to becoming New Goblin aka Corn of Coblin.

Theory time! When Doc Ock absorbs the Stark Tech off Peter, it’s AI (Karen/Friday/whatever version of windows it runs off) assist Otto in regaining control over the invasive AI of the arms due to the broken inhibitor chip. This could open the door to him being a willing ally in the story. Also, I fully support the theory that Maguiderman and Garfider Man are not in this film, and instead the Lizard is being punched by an invisible Sue Storm and this is actually a Fan4 origin movie.
Part of me hopes the other Peters aren't in it, just so Garfield can be vindicated and to watch the internet explode. Whoever spotted that in the Brazilian edit is inspirational. I'm increasingly thinking that each villain will be from an alternate reality, and will merely be a reference to and not necessarily from the previous films. We've got three confirmed realities in this film, but to have these villains together would require time travel as well. It would explain Electro's change of appearance which they would otherwise have to do just for him in the movie.
It's funny to me that when AG pleads innocence he weirdly doesn't reference a witch trial, or a court room, he instead compares it to situations where the entire unique element is to lie with a straight face 'as part of the game'.

I like how Doc Oc adsorbs the nanotech from Spider-Man. I have a feeling he’s going to strip him of that suit thus him switching back to the others. In the end Doc Oc will have another redemption arc (seeing him get attacked by electro in the trailer helps this be plausible) and when Spider-Man’s suit is too far damaged, Doc Oc will return the nanotech to Spider-Man protecting him/ giving him back his 🕸.
When Doctor Strange says there's more people coming through the portal, I don't think he's talking about the villains, but actually talking about the other spider-men arriving to help fight Sandman, Electro and Lizard.

There was a moment in the trailer where Electro started off blue. It was when Electro was behind him and Subaru was readying his suit with Strange’s magic by the towers. Specifically here: 6:32 I also don’t think he’s referring to the other Spider-Men in the ending of the trailer, when he says “They’re coming through.” He sounds too worried, if they were Spider-Men I don’t think he’d be that afraid of what’s coming.
You know what would be hilarious? Andrew Garfield actually isn’t in the movie, it’s just two different versions of Tobey. I’ve got nothing against his version, I just think it would be one of the best instances of trolling in our lifetime.
I hate to say it but two versions of Tobey would actually make some sense to pair with the villains but I doubt they'll do it. Just like in Spider-Verse where Peter B. Parker didn't have any lookalikes in the group (looks like Noir has the same face as him but he never takes his mask off).

My theory is that the villains will show up in their “original” movie look (so classic raimi green goblin, blue electro, etc.) but will morph into more comic book accurate version of the villains.
Dafoe will help Electro get a ark reactor when he gets his new upgrades, it helps him channel his energy better allowing him to look kinda normal and could make it more powerful and that’s why it’s yellow or some shit and like for a moment he flashes blue when he’s in his new suit when he blasts someone so he’s still blue
I have a theory regarding the red and gold suit he wears toward the end. I think he will ABSORB the nano tech from doc ock’s arms like how doc ock does in the bridge scene. The suit essentially looks exactly like the red and black suit introduced in far from home with the gold spider symbol over it. This could be because doc ock turns on the villains which would he consistant with his arc in Spider-Man 2.

Theory: In Spider-Man Homecoming we saw an end credit scene that hinted at the appearance of Scorpion. He also said to Vulture that when he finds out who Spider-Man is that he's gonna kill him. To further the speculation I think that Tobey Maguire will be the one playing Big Wheel. After Spider-Man 3 he loses his spider-maning powers. He starts suffering from his performance issues again, but this time there was no one to throw a car at him to make him feel better. So he has Curt Connors make him a big wheel that he can sit in, it is a wheel so big in fact that the people of NYC (New York City) give him the moniker "BIG WHEEL." My theory is this movie is Tom Holland’s way out of the MCU. He has already hinted at it, and multiple universes gives Marvel the chance to do multiple Spider-Men properties. Maybe we see Miles Morales in live action, or even Spider 2099.
I have a theory on how it'll end: Peter realizes he can't have everythingexactly the way he wants it. Maybe somebody dies? Regardless, he goes to Strange and they do the spell, but correctly this time, and now NOBODY remembers he's Spider-Man. But not only that, none of his friends or family remember any of the adventures they went on together, or, at least, not the way they actually happened. He retains his secret identity, but he loses every real relationship he's had in the last couple years. Also, there was a leaked set photo a while back featuring Peter visiting MJ while she's working at a Bakery. I wonder if that takes place at the end, when he finds out no one remembers. Has potential to be some heartbreaking stuff. Very Exciting !

Dr. Strange says these villains all die fighting their respective Spider-Man in their respective worlds, but Sandman and Lizard both definitely survived their movies. Plus, Jamie Foxx/Electro looks completely different. I think this means some or all of these villains are Variants of the Raimi/Webb versions

While i'm interested in seeing Venom, i'm not sure i'd like to have that specific venom to interact with Holland's Spiderman, not to diss Tom Hardy, i like him, but storywise Venom already has his "perfect" bromance with Eddie, so it would be mostly BS on why would he ever leave him to bond with Peter in order to get the spiderman powers upgrade, then leave again to go for Eddie and them both hating spiderman, that Eddie seems like a chill dude, why would he hate Spiderman or Peter... i guess they can work something acceptable for motivations, but that's the Venom lore, it's Venom 101 and it's not there. They should have hinted that Venom bonded offscreen with a Spiderman before Eddie.

I think Mysterio is a way more likely sixth Sinister member than Venom. Peter did also lead to Mysterio's death (esp in the public's eye); he's a traditional member; all these hijinks are up his alley; and having an MCU villain more properly grounds us in this franchise.
Venom isn't villainous enough in this universe, he might be in the movie but I highly doubt as the sixth Sinister.

Peter gets shook up from the experience, and goes to steal the box from Dr Strange because he's seen the villains can be redeemed. That's why in the final battle only Electro, Sandman, and Lizard are present - Doc Ock and Goblin have been removed by that point.
Or a 5 on 3, Doc Oc is almost definitely gonna end up as a good guy, and the invisible character attacking one of the villains is most likely Miles Morales

Well Electro does appear blue in the trailer, it seems to be the moment when he first arrives to the MCU, maybe he gets de-powered somehow or his powers get enhanced. Hence the exoskeleton with what it seems to be an arc reactor on his chest
Whether Doc Ock is stealing the nanotech or Peter is forcefully sending it into the arms, I think that they'll end up fixing whatever relapse the Arms went through to allow them take back over. I can imagine being torn through an interdimensional portal and (possibly) meeting 5 (or 4) other villains who hate Spider-Man would allow them to reinfluence Otto. The nano-technology fixing the inhibitor would make sense as to why the arms stay red for the rest of the time we see them.
Also curious as to whether or not we'll see multiple versions of each of the villains, explaining Devoe's costume change. Strange mentions visitors from "every universe" but we'll presumably only see 2 (Raimi and Webb)? Also I imagine that Peter's new upgraded suit at the end is the remainder of the Iron Spider suit going onto and enhancing his Far From Home suit with just the gold parts. Would explain why he has a cloth mask in that suit instead of a nano-tech one.
I have a theory. In the trailer we hear Pete say, “ I can’t save everyone” then we see MJ & Ned both fall. Although Ned Holds on. I think Peter chooses to save MJ instead of Ned and this propels him to becoming New Goblin aka Corn of Coblin.

Theory time! When Doc Ock absorbs the Stark Tech off Peter, it’s AI (Karen/Friday/whatever version of windows it runs off) assist Otto in regaining control over the invasive AI of the arms due to the broken inhibitor chip. This could open the door to him being a willing ally in the story.
Also, I fully support the theory that Maguiderman and Garfider Man are not in this film, and instead the Lizard is being punched by an invisible Sue Storm and this is actually a Fan4 origin movie.

I'm increasingly thinking that each villain will be from an alternate reality, and will merely be a reference to and not necessarily from the previous films. We've got three confirmed realities in this film, but to have these villains together would require time travel as well. It would explain Electro's change of appearance which they would otherwise have to do just for him in the movie.

I like how Doc Oc adsorbs the nanotech from Spider-Man. I have a feeling he’s going to strip him of that suit thus him switching back to the others. In the end Doc Oc will have another redemption arc (seeing him get attacked by electro in the trailer helps this be plausible) and when Spider-Man’s suit is too far damaged, Doc Oc will return the nanotech to Spider-Man protecting him/ giving him back his 🕸.
I think he tries to absorb it, and the nanites eventually take control of the arms. The final suits the Integrated suit, which is minimal nanobot tech
When Doctor Strange says there's more people coming through the portal, I don't think he's talking about the villains, but actually talking about the other spider-men arriving to help fight Sandman, Electro and Lizard.
It'll probably be the other Spideys but Strange just assumes it's more villains coming through so even he'll be surprised when they come through

You know what would be hilarious? Andrew Garfield actually isn’t in the movie, it’s just two different versions of Tobey. I’ve got nothing against his version, I just think it would be one of the best instances of trolling in our lifetime.

My theory is that the villains will show up in their “original” movie look (so classic raimi green goblin, blue electro, etc.) but will morph into more comic book accurate version of the villains.

I have a theory regarding the red and gold suit he wears toward the end. I think he will ABSORB the nano tech from doc ock’s arms like how doc ock does in the bridge scene. The suit essentially looks exactly like the red and black suit introduced in far from home with the gold spider symbol over it. This could be because doc ock turns on the villains which would he consistant with his arc in Spider-Man 2.

I'm surprised Tom Holland hasn't spoiled anything by now. Maybe he doesn't actually know that Andrew and Toby are in it. Maybe they haven't edited them OUT of the trailers, rather they're going to edit them IN to the movie, to keep Tom in the dark.

Theory: In Spider-Man Homecoming we saw an end credit scene that hinted at the appearance of Scorpion. He also said to Vulture that when he finds out who Spider-Man is that he's gonna kill him. Well the jig's up. Would it be possible that he shows up in the movie or perhaps we'll see him in another movie or not at all?
MCU’s pretty good about following up their post-credit stingers. Scorpion will be in this film.

I think that the sixth villain HAS to be none other than Big Wheel, the evidence is insurmountable at this point. To further the speculation I think that Tobey Maguire will be the one playing Big Wheel. After Spider-Man 3 he loses his spider-maning powers. He starts suffering from his performance issues again, but this time there was no one to throw a car at him to make him feel better. So he has Curt Connors make him a big wheel that he can sit in, it is a wheel so big in fact that the people of NYC (New York City) give him the moniker "BIG WHEEL." My theory is this movie is Tom Holland’s way out of the MCU. He has already hinted at it, and multiple universes gives Marvel the chance to do multiple Spider-Men properties. Maybe we see Miles Morales in live action, or even Spider 2099.

I have a theory on how it'll end: Peter realizes he can't have everythingexactly the way he wants it. Maybe somebody dies? Regardless, he goes to Strange and they do the spell, but correctly this time, and now NOBODY remembers he's Spider-Man. But not only that, none of his friends or family remember any of the adventures they went on together, or, at least, not the way they actually happened. He retains his secret identity, but he loses every real relationship he's had in the last couple years.
Also, there was a leaked set photo a while back featuring Peter visiting MJ while she's working at a Bakery. I wonder if that takes place at the end, when he finds out no one remembers. Has potential to be some heartbreaking stuff. Very Exciting !

I have a feeling we’ll be getting a venom and daredevil end credit scene. I can’t see venom being on the sinister six considering where he is as a character. We are forgetting about the possibility of getting an actual suited scorpion. But that also might be a stretch. Rhino maybe??? Hmm.
I think it’s actually Doc Ock fighting the Lizard in that scene. That would explain the shot of Electro blasting at Doc Ock. He’s been removed to hide his twist face turn.

Dr. Strange says these villains all die fighting their respective Spider-Man in their respective worlds, but Sandman and Lizard both definitely survived their movies. Plus, Jamie Foxx/Electro looks completely different. I think this means some or all of these villains are Variants of the Raimi/Webb versions
