Young investers just see and enjoy. It is not that much eazy. At the end u will not get that projected income because of quality, yield, and other wise crop related issues, it is 100% risk.
Whether they calculate expodicture of temp maintenance charges , labour charges, light charges ... I think we under comes loss if we do it room temp and quality not same as Kashmir , whether they have lab test report 9f quality?
I think Per kg 80-90 bulbs will be there. Correct me if I am wrong here. Then there will be 10400 bulbs. Per gram of dry saffron needs about 160 flowers. So in that case it will be 60 grams of Saffron only from 130 kg of bulbs. Can you please help to clarify this?
ITS VERY DIFFICULT THEN YOU GUYS THINK , EVERY SETUP IS NOT SUCCESFUL. YOU CAN ACHIEVE IF YOUR CAREFUL WITH THE ENVIRONMENT YOU CREATE WHICH COST 8-10 LAKHS TO ENJOY PROFITS IN THE FIRST YEAR. MAINTENANCE IS HIGH AND THE YEILD PROJECTED RETURNS IS LOW.

Why they don't go for large production? Why all are interested in selling seeds & giving training only? Don't you think there must be some hidden truth???

No 1 business in this world has only positive things so we have to think negative too. 8-10 initial cost is only for set up the lab & you need another 5 to 6 lac for seed & for 1st three year all your seed will not give you yield.... I have searched & calculated it in very deep level. It won't work out for large scale too
