This looks like an Xtron or something like that? I have seen other reviews with no sound issues in their reviews. You just said it was an Android so its the sound app within the unit i am guessing? I have an Accord 03, with an after market CD Bluetooth deck installed and the sound is great without changing the speakers? So, I guess what I am asking is if you are reviewing this new radio system can't you say the brand name so people do not buy this model? LIke i said, another reviewer did a system review that looks just like yours? But had a manufacturers name-not just Android unless that is the mfgr?
Totally understand where you coming from. The unit I have does not come with any brand. I bought it from Amazon and it sells for around $146. Now, about the sound. Tweaking the EQ and changing the speakers absolutely helped hugely. Aside from that, the reason I changed the speakers is because I new the car had the original speakers and I wanted to upgrade anyways. I truly dont see the point in upgrading a radio and not upgrading speakers. If you going to upgrade might as well do a complete upgrade of your sound. My accord sound beautiful now and I just added one 10 inch sub with a 2000 watts amp. Is more than enough for me. Wish I can give you a brand for the radio but it comes with no brand.
I think I have the same exact unit you have. Even my driver side and passenger side air conditioner buttons are flipped like yours. I also bought mine from Amazon. My real question is, How did you change your temperature from Celsius to Fahrenheit? I’ve tried several times and it never stuck even after rebooting several times.
Fortunately mines was in Fahrenheit already, so I was lucky. I dont really know how to change that. Probably and most likely in the factory settings where you have to put your code to get into the settings.
Go to the settings/media settings and change the default volume settings. The steps are different on different head units. But it is always in the settings.
I added Scar tweeters in my 2007 accord and it was a massive improvement.
Had the same problem with the antenna but I was actually able to get it in somehow without breaking the cable that had no slack.
