    I never knew procreate had a gradient map feature. Wow I’m so late, thanks for sharing!

      Ha, I just figured it out not too long ago! Now I need to dedicate a day to make like 100 custom gradient maps lol

    try greg rutkowskys brushes - amazing trad medium simulating brushes. also u dont have to buy brushes for procreate separately - it can import photoshop brushes :)

      I've used Greg's brushes since 2019, they're fantastic! With the import stuff, while that's true, having a separate Procreate pack that is made within the program by the developer will always give better results than brushes imported from another software, because of native brush engine dependencies that each software has that's different than one another. Definitely worth the money to get the separate packs for each native program, at least in my experience!

    I had the Perfect Oil for Procreate but I do not know how to tame the beast! The brushes produce too much artifacts that make the painting very unnatural. I would love to know how you use this brush pack, any particular settings that would reduce or eliminate the artifacts

      I've also experienced some artifacting (especially the "highlights" on impasto brushes), but usually I'll either use a palette knife brush to "scrape" the edge away, or even use the Perfect Oil brushes on a layer on top of my painting, then adjust the opacity or blending mode to get the effect to be a bit more subtle. Hope this helps!

    Hey, nice video ! Did you take for PS the The perfect oil Part 1 or 2, or both ? Thanks a lot !

    • @ArtOfWesGardner
      @ArtOfWesGardner  6 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I have both sets, but the set I usually come back to most often is Part 2. Hope this helps!

      Oh that's a good idea! Sort of show exactly how I use them (or think about them). I love the pack, but there's so many brushes that it can definitely feel overwhelming at times!
