I think it's Persian in origin and that's where it spread from, I can't speak for other regions but in pashto "Dushman" means enemy or opponent.
@@khyber__ Dushman has a root in "dusha"/"duša" which is spirit or soul of person. Dusha/duša equates to soul.
"Dushman"/"dušman" is an enemy, someone not just content with injuring your body, but someone praying upon you and your soul. Hope this helps. Cheers!

who's the artist? since dushman isn't a artist name but just means "enemy"?
The artist is unknown, and "Dushman" is an alternative name for this song. Some apparently attribute this to Kaskad, but apparently this is incorrect and a different version.

What is this song about Because I can tell that this about a mujahadeen but i can't tell if this is insulting the mujahadeen or just about the mujahadeen.
Not really sure, I guess it could be interpreted as either. It doesn't paint a favorable picture of them but it doesn't really ridicule them either
It's about training (more like radicalisation) of a young man. Then he gets into battle, catches a bullet. He thinks, that shuravi (soviet) will kill him, but instead he bandages him. The only thing left to interpretation is, did mujahid throw his ring-talisman on the ground himself, or did it just slipped

Yes, defeating super-powers is an achievement but at what cost? Vietnam defeated US way before Afghans did.

He graduated with a machine gun, thus, he began his life
With a sacred amulet, his leader told to him
Praise Allah and the Quran, by them you shall surely win
Within that ring lies your soul, take it as your holy gift
For it contains these holy words: Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar!
Take it upon our prophets, the all-knowing wisdom of truth
Like Abu Bakr, take them down; make the Russians all confused
May you shine in glorious wealth, having all that you desire
By this you’ll buy a prosperous store and you’ll have many wives
And yes I show you my sacred gift, by this you’ll have many rights
For it contains these holy words: Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar!
But the battle went another way, as the Soviets advanced
Though they cried, “ALLAHU AKBAR!” they never got a chance
The Russians wounded and sent him to a facility
Where he would learn the consequence of his religious insanity
And as they dragged him to be shot, before reaching Satan’s maw
He said the meaningless words: “ALLAHU AKBAR!”

What on Earth is this song? Sounds like islamic stuff, but it's in russian? And in pop style?
It's a Russian Soviet-Afghan War song parodying how the Afghan rebels would tell soldiers that they had Allah on their side, and to destroy their Soviet enemies in exchange for fortunes in heaven, only for the Afghan soldier to be shot, captured and given medical treatment by the "Shuravi infidel" who they were taught to hate. At the end of the song, his ring, meant to symbolise Afghan resistance to the Soviets, falls off, as he realises the men he is fighting are also just men.
