As a Chechen who’s family underwent through the first war (as most of us did I think) this really hits home and conveys the spirit of the Chechen people really well.

But those who still live in Chechnya proper almost all speak the two of them. I’m among those whose family fled and never got the chance to reconnect with my roots but I’m trying to change it by learning more about the culture and history of my homelands.
