Not to mention scanning with a loaded rifle is flagging everything down range. But we agree: it is much easier to scan with handheld or helmet mounted. You could consider the ML19 as a lower cost option for handheld or helmet mounted scanning.
Just ordered my RH25 yesterday. Ethan was great to work with and I can’t wait to try it out. Thanks for the content and helping make the decision between the two easier.
Honesty I prefer the iRay MINI Series Dovetail Shoe vs. the Mod Armory Mum D14 Dovetail Adapter on my mini. The iRay adapter will mate with Wilcox SkeetIR Arms and the KVC bridge.
A part of me wishes I just got the MH25 vs spending so much money on the RH25. I mainly wanted a helmet set up with my PVS14, but a problem I ran into is that I can't wear the RH25 on my left eye. With my wilcox bridge, I must wear the PVS14 on my left eye and RH25 on my right due to the dimensions and how the battery housings protrude, if they were the other way around, the units would be touching and the objectiveals not close enough to see through them. I feel like the MH25 wouldn't have that issue being slimer and the battery compartment on the bottom.
@Arkayne Co wilcox bridge with skeeter attachments. I could do something different if I have KVC OSS shoes or something but I'd probably have a better chance of catching a unicorn fart before finding KVC OSS shoes.
Like the content. Curious, do the stogies help sell thermal? It’s almost too much cool when coupled with the Daddy Flannel, bald head and lumberjack beard. Save a lil bit for everyone else. 😂😂😂
What is the purpose of the closable iris on the MH25? Does it help with vision focus or something to prevent sensor damage? Also, why doesn't the RH25 have one?
FYI to those wondering who find this video the MH25v2 has the eyepiece they mention as well as onboard video and audio recording and an updated better display as well. I believe these guys also stock the new version as well.
I've seen it done with a Eotech G43/45, Eotech EXPS, with the RH25 up front on the hand guard rail. I have a rifle setup with the first 2 and just ordered an RH25 so I'll circle back and let you know when I have a chance to try it.
I've heard many people say thermal fusion isn't possible. In combination with a L3 Harris pvs-14, what would you say is the very best option to achieve this, if no budget? P.S. I already have merger lfr 50xl (1024x768 thermal resolution) binos, and Trijicon IR Hunter MkIII scope. I'm not too worried about having a clip on as a spare, unless it doesn't take away from any major helmet benefits. Lastly, do you think it's worth waiting for a 1024 monocular or are aware of any coming out? I've also looked at the sidekick 640, the battery looks horrible. Thoughts? Thanks!
So you should check out our Jerry FB video. Then shoot us an email at CS@arkayne.com. We could get on a call and discuss all the options you are listing 👊👊
Hey when you do the video of the MH25 can you also talk about what recording system you are running with it as well as how you mounted it to your helmet
Anybody have a good recommendation for a forward mounted unit that I could swap between rifles? Or is that just not practical with zero? I would do rh25 but I can't drop 6k for the setup.
RL25 is the next move. SOLID unit and we can get one into your hands if you’re ready. The other option is the STING IR. Less than RH25, a little more than RL25. Technically the RL25 isn’t meant to be forward mounted, but the STINGIR can be. Email us if you have questions CS@Arkayne.com
Is the rh25 clearer? On just image quality alone is the rh25 worth another 2k$ ??? I'm thinking of going with a mh25 and pvs14 helment setup. I already have a nice weapon mounted thermal scope.
The increase in price is largely justified if you find value in slightly better resolution, a better screen in the viewfinder, and the ability to weapon mount. If you don't see value in weapon mounting or recording through the unit, the MH25 might be the better move. Either one is a solid option. If your primary use is helmet mounting, there are some benefits to the MH over the RH. We can get you set up with either one when you are ready.
Does it mess with your eyes having NV over your right eye and thermal over your left or is it the same as keeping both eyes open during daylight and seeing your retical in only one eye?
Selling mine for 2800 if interested i have it on offerup fir 2k to reach international buyers but i want 2800 and my super hogster thermal scope and my sk19 30 cal pellet gun
Man, your camera shots are always really impressive. +10 points for sexy fireplace vibe. Like if I had the dough for a decent mirrorless, this type of thing would be my pièce de résistance Forget NVG's, you've got the low-light exposure game down PAT.
Would love one of these for scanning. Scanning with a weapon thermal is tiring.

I wish you would have mentioned that the units were powerhouses.
Oh, they’re powerhouses
The RH25 now comes with the picatinny rail mount/mqd mount
You vatos have lay-away plan or take ebt cards?
I love this technology but without a cost breakdown for manufacturing I can’t justify 4-6k for one unit

Have seen people with thermal mounted on trucks at night and a screen inside there vehicle. My question is how do they do it …?
There are companies that make units like you’re describing. They can be VERY expensive though. Sometimes $60-100K
@@ArkayneI could only see that justified if your taking people on hunting trips as a guide guaranteeing kills

I am in the market... Making my choice
For mounting on a rifle in front of say a 1-10 lpvo. Rh25 or mh25? Go!
Do I need any other components besides the G11 to complete a Team Wendt to a HM 25. Thanks
You need a G24 or G22, not a G11. Check out our blog section on the site. We have a super in depth blog about mounting thermal to helmets.
g24 boss
are you able to run the PVS-14 with a thermal on other eye, spot with thermal, and passively shoot via PVS-14 in real time?
Yes.
Yes
Yes, we have all the items needed to do this on our site. It is possibly the most potent setup you can run.
Can you use a 3x magnifier as you would for a red dot

If you have a good 1x optical monocular and a good bridge, then using both a PVS 14 and a thermal is very possible.

Bro I can’t find the answer to this anywhere
The new mh25 has onboard recording

FLIR BREACH $1699 sales sometimes
Paid $1,500 for mine. Couldn’t sell it fast enough, was trash.

The breach is straight hot garbage. there is a reason we have no FLIR units on our site as well. Just saying.
I upgraded from a breach to mh25, it was very worthwhile
