Sounds great. It could hold its own against instruments that are twice the price. I would appreciate, if you made a demo of the Eastman E1 OM (the corresponding orchestra model).
I don't really think anyone builds a better sapele dreadnought with ebony fretboard, bridge, perfectly superb craftsmanship, playability and tone...all for a price that seems unrealistically fantastic!
i bought the eastman e1d used at my local music store it was brand new but the guy didnt like it so i got it 450$ no sales tax plus free hardcase and free set of strings all i did is ask somethings
I own both. 2024s They are both big on sound. Different voices. My Martin seems to take what I play and smooths it out so to speak. It scoops out the mids a little .The Eastman takes what I play gives it a little more edge. A little more direct of a sound. Just a tad more mid to my ears. Almost a little unpredictable but in a good way. Not muddy though. Love them both. None seems lacking when I'm playing them. Just different.

This Brand builds awesome guitar. IMHO, It is unbeatable in their price range....
Love my E1D & have bought 2 more Eastmans since.
