Only plates I had that were heavy enough were super thick. Was not very fun climbing over bars and carrying bags. Whenever I next get a chance to travel to a match I’m gonna be getting those jacked rabbit plates(?) purely for comfort
Reading up on it now, Still sounds like $5k in gun only before optics, then $3-4k more, before ammo and range cost. Any lower entry point options that work?
I feel like the triggers in the 2011s are especially an advantage in TTG.

There are very affordable rifle, pistol, and optic(s) choices. Much cheaper than you are suggesting above
