The big problem is he is adding too many liabilities to his life, much too soon. Having a wife and kids is bad enough, but adding a dog on top of it is the icing on the cake.
Fellas, it makes zero difference if your woman makes good money, she will spend all her money, and then a good chunk of yours. Remain single and do not have kids out of wedlock! The women will be there once you're ready to start a family.
Best option for a young man in the tech field is this:
      1. Get a full remote job
      2. Relocated overseas to south America or SE asia for super low cost of living.
      3. use the Foreign Income Exclusion to exclude over 100k of your income from taxes
      4. Max your 401k
      5. Max your HSA
With this plan, you can effectively not pay income taxes on $140k of income, which means you're saving around another $30k in taxes. You're also saving a metric ton of money on living expenses.
That's the beauty of being a man, wait until you're 35 with a million in assets. Then if you want a family, find a young traditional feminine woman to start a family with.
      One more big important thing!
Do not bring her back to the United States! You do not want the culture and stupid American females putting dumb things in their ear!

Great content in your channel, Anton! I’m 53 and my wife and I reached $1M net worth in 2017, six years later it’s $2.4M. Our yearly salary is a little over $100K. We drive older cars, cook at home, eat leftovers, and have 2 in college. We saved for college and our boys help by working. They will graduate debt free.

That's right, I began investing sometime in 2018 and by the end of 2021, I had earned a profit of over $750,000; This can only be carried out by seasoned institutional investors with ISDA agreement. With no prior investing experience or skill, Instead I merely followed the instructions provided by my investment advisor, proving that you don't have to be an expert investor or put in a lot of effort; all you need is a professional who can mentor and guide you for a fee.

I'll say what no one else state for the record: having a family is a wonderful thing that everyone should experience. Coming home to people that love you is an amazing feeling. Here's the reality though: IT IS NOT CHEAP TO HAVE A FAMILY. Most folks are afraid to say this but its true. Kids get sick, or have expected emergencies. Your spouse or partner might get sick and that comes with its own share of problems as well. Something breaks down in the house that needs to be fixed, your car has issues, etc. If I had to start all over again, just based on my personal experience of having a family at the moment, I would get my money right first, then look to start a family. It's like building a house yeah? Lay a foundation, then build on top of that foundation. Trust me, its worth it!

I’m starting to see a lot of discussions and people talk about how making $100k ain’t nothing but in reality what we need to be talking about is how $100k a year as a single individual with no wife and kids vs someone who makes $100k trying to take care of a wife, kids and has a bunch of debt. There is a difference and we need to be more direct when we talking about it because that discussion applies to a specific group of people and not all people that make $100k a year

$100k is enough for the necessities. but people confuse needs for wants. we don't have a lot of needs. but wants. the list is endless. it's up to you to tame those wants. because as we've seen if you make $100k gross you're just taking home $72,000 net. that's just $6k a month. if your home is 30% of your take home pay you are down to just $4k a month and you really need to make it stretch.

People grappling with the difficulty of meeting essential expenses often encounter this situation due to inadequate savings during their working years. Indeed, that's accurate. I'm currently in my mid-50s. My wife and I were on a similar path until a couple of years ago when I decided to shift my investments to her wealth manager. While I haven't quite caught up to her accumulated profits over the years, I'm at least earning more now. I'm generating income even before retirement, and my retirement fund has experienced remarkable growth compared to what it would have with just the 401(k). It's quite amusing.

During COVID many people moved to Utah, so real estate prices have gone up. He needs to be cutting on the going out to eat, clothes, utilities with a NEST Thermostat, and do baby sitters every other week. People think because they are making over $100k they are affluent these days. If his wife is not working she needs to get a side hustle to help out. Acting as if everyone needs to make 200k a year nowadays is ridiculous, especially when such a small percentage of the population in America makes that amount of money. We don't buy big ticket items.....We do a great job of steering away from the big ticket items like new flat screens, new tablets, new laptops, new phones that drop every six months etc etc. We don't have any car payments. We paid off our van during the pandemic (we saved so much money during that time) and I paid cash for my SUV about a year ago.

It’s definitely possible for a family of 4 to live on 100,000 per year but clearly it depends on the lifestyle they live. After all their needs are met, they won’t have a lot of money for all their wants and “nice to haves”. (Vacations, Disney, eating out etc). We make around 200k per year. We have 2 kids. We do “splurge” on trips. (But we also save and invest a lot). However, if we were down to one income we could definitely live, but we would have to cut out all the unnecessary splurges, which would be fine, because even though we make good money, we still keep our expenses low. Paid off car, affordable mortgage (not even $2000), I cook everyday. I get teased because I don’t have an iPhone 14 😂. It’s not always how much you make, but what your priorities are.

1- This dude has no idea what he is doing even though he is smart, young and makes good money-!
2- His wife is just a 3rd child he has to take care of rather than a PARTNER-! Sounds like she is a beauty who assumed pop 2 kids and let him take care of me
3- Get rid of the dog-! cant feed his "3" kids but has a dog?
4- Stop eating out and wife better find a way to put kids to bed so their dates can be in the back yard
5- Tell wife to also get a remote job and they can switch the children when one clocks in and clocks out
    6- Downgrade house

Problem solved. He should be saving money

I have a savings account where I can hide the balance. I have a rough idea what's in it. Once market sentiment changes, I move a chunk of my funds to my investment account. I do this at least twice a year, because that's usually how often markets correct. As your income creeps up, don't acknowledge the additional amount outside of investing it. You'll ultimately be able to use those funds to live a better life.

I can still spend money on unnecessary things I just do that a couple times a year and it has to make sense as a purchase. I see it as treating myself for being frugal. It's the overall lifestyle that eats at your gains. Not one off spending. Just control yourself. I also ignore my gains outside of making sure the bills are paid and fraud isn't occurring.
