@nxm3162 also you gotta keep expectations in check with settings. Medium/high for newer games too. It's in an itx build in my tv unit for my 4k tv and anything under 1440p looks too muddy and as I said most play at 4k 60fps.
The jump on resolution never is worth the price, because lets be honest, it wont make the game more fun to play, i had the opportunity to play on a pc with a 4080 with a 4k monitor, i wont gonna lie, it is amazing, but when u got back to my 1080p monitor with my 6700XT i didnt feel i was missing out, the bigger difference i felt was unironically the refresh rate of the monitor, 165hz to 75hz is a day and night diference.
I was gaming in 4K60 on the GTX 1080ti back in 2017, it was a glorious power trip, flexing that 1080ti's muscle, the demands on GPU's have quadrupled since then but to my eyes I don't see 4X improvement in visuals so I've went backwards and I now game at 1440P, games look great and framerates stay playable
I have a 7800X3D + EVGA 3080 non-Ti I’m able to run all games comfortably in 4K with DLSS. I’m also able to get 330 fps in CS2 On Mirage in native 4K (no FSR)
Are you gona make videos on the new Arc A580 and A570? Would love your input if it's good or bad deal. I'm still on 1080p, but my goal is going 1440p in 2025. 4k, not yet.
We need more games like this, hopefully Nvidea realise they aren’t always the defacto gpu brand that way ( I don’t play no fish game 😂 plus I have a Nvidea card but used so shh) 4:02
Just sold my 4090 before 5090 and using my old 3090 and can say its plenty fast for 2d gaming i only run into issues when i need to use VR at very high resolutions for example Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
Decided to max out the temp and power sliders on my fe 3080, not a notable difference in gta at least other than hitting 2055more often( my average is 1995) 1:33
@ProYamYamPC Some verions of it does have 12GB but they are as expensive on ebay as a brand new 4070. Would have to look at local deals to maybe get it at a better price if one shows up.
Watch out dude ! Here some stuff I'd liek to share to you so you can enhance your futur videos ! - Your face cam is not leveled, for your next vids you might want to make it level, it feels non pro : next to everything else being clean, you should keep an eye on that ! - You add some writing on your video about price, availability and stuff, you might want to add you specs in the video as you speak + adding it in the description, instead of just writing it in the description. Since you have quite an accent, it's not always perfectly clear. - The music at the beginning of Cyberpunk : it's loud for like a sec, and suddently it drops at a level where we almost don't hear it. Maybe you shoudl have you noise leveled a bit higher we you talk, so we can hear you and the music, and keeping this sound level when you're not talking. - The up right Afterburner infos are not always at the same size. The big scale, like in BO6 feels great, the small scale in Hogwart feels too small imo. Obviously you do have a lot of good points too, like I love your shoots on the RTX, revealing it slowly, feels great and the colors are really good. Those are the point you might wanna change (or not ! your channel bro :D ). Keep up the good work ! You nailed it !!
Thanks for the vonstructive feedback, I appreciate it. According to the gyro in my A7 IV, the A-roll was straight🤣 But the cam was a little too high imo. As for the Afterburner overlay, some games diaplay it differently. Mainly games which don't have a fullscreen exclusive mode. This is something I can adjust on a per game basis however. And for the music, I've noted this, sound design isn't my strength, but I'm working on it🫡
RTX 4070 Ti Is Better Compare to RTX 3080 And 3080 Ti But RTX 3080 CUDA Cores less This RTX 4070 Ti And Price 799$ RTX 4070 Ti And 579$ Now Price Only Amazon Yase YouAr Raight RTX 3080 Still better This Price Point Perfect performance in limited days And Not disawrd this 2 GPUs all Games Ultra And Extreme preset 4K Resolution DLSS Average And Used GPU this Sam Price stuck Aur Luckdipend
A used 3080 is much cheaper than a 4070 Ti. Also, the 3080/Ti have much more memory bandwidth too, which will help them out at higher resolutions like 4K
Don't know for how long people are going to keep overlooking at nVidia awful tactics. The 3080, even the 3070 are still quite capable cards in terms of raw power, but the VRAM is holding them. Based on the leaks for the 5000 series, nVidia will keep doing the same thing.
I've been 4k gaming (in single player) for a while with a 6700xt. If you have realistic expectations, people dont seem to realise the entry to 4k.
Nice card mate! I love teh 6700 XT and it's due a revisit on teh channel
@ProYamYamPC Glad to hear it, underrated especially now you can get them so cheap on the used market.
great card but i feel like thats quite a stretch for it. theres no way youre getting 60fps on native 4k in almost any game
@nxm3162 obviously there's newer titles that need a lil upscaling or a tad frame gen here or there but you'd be surprised.
@nxm3162 also you gotta keep expectations in check with settings. Medium/high for newer games too.
It's in an itx build in my tv unit for my 4k tv and anything under 1440p looks too muddy and as I said most play at 4k 60fps.
4K gaming will always be expensive, even with new games that rely heavily on DLSS.
100%, That's why I like 1440p so much. It's sharp on a 27" display, and it's not too hard to push either
RTX 3080 ranks up there with the 1080ti as being a lot of bang for the money when it released, if you managed to get one
It's Nvidia's next goat imo
I got myself a 3080 ti and it’s great for 4k
I'm sure it does!
Can run MSFS2020, on 3060, 4K Ultra, at 30fps
How is your founders 3080 so cool mine gets to like 87c even with under volt, maybe needs a repaste?
Yeah seems that way, the FE cooler is inadequate for the 3080s 320W load imo
did you see the Indiana Jones system requirement?
This is why we should stick to 1440p.
That game is an anomaly as it has a hard RT requirement. But I believe this will become more common if the game is a success
Did you notice any texture pop-ins or some textures loading in lower res in any of those games?
Not initially, I believe there were some at native in Jedi Survivor. DLSS completely removed any pop ins though
I have a 7800X3D + EVGA 3080 non-Ti I’m able to run all games comfortably in 4K with DLSS.
I’m also able to get 330 fps in CS2 On Mirage in native 4K (no FSR)

I'm still on 1080p, but my goal is going 1440p in 2025.
4k, not yet.
I will be testing them at some point!
Please add timestamps

I Got a

EVGA ftw3 ultra rtx 3090 ti 24GB for the price of a

From my co worker he upgraded to a RTX 4070 Ti Super 😅
Your co worker got a side grade🤣 Awesome find bro

3090 is good for 2D gaming?
Decided to max out the temp and power sliders on my fe 3080, not a notable difference in gta at least other than hitting 2055more often( my average is 1995) 1:33
Maxing the sliders didn't do much on my 3080 either. Undervolting is 100% the way to go with these cards
With 10gb vram😅
Somehow we did it. Praise memory bandwidth
@@ProYamYamPC it's the same reason why the 3070 ti can keep up at 1440p
4k on a 7800XT
Even better as AMD packed a suitable amount of VRAM onto it
Yes in those games, yes.
Yes, even in a spaghetti code mess like Jedi Survivor
Solid card with a lot of life still in it.
For sure, the 3080 will become a goat from Nvidia. (I still wish it had at least 12GB though)
@ProYamYamPC Some verions of it does have 12GB but they are as expensive on ebay as a brand new 4070. Would have to look at local deals to maybe get it at a better price if one shows up.

The 4080S does 4k so well IMO I’m not upset one bit! I don’t see all the fuss and I’m even on an 5700x3D at that 🤦🏽♂️😂
I imagine you're having a brilliant gaming experience!

Yep, I fully agree, I wish the 3080 had at least 12GB from the start. But thankfully, I haven't ran into any VRAM related issues just yet
