What I learn from a driver who worked for a transit company, he told me that you will have " Good drivers and some bad ones". If you hear anything that's negative look above it. An stay away from those are negative .
I drove a 21 KW when I was with my mentor and it kinda spoiled me to KWs lol. I drive a ‘19 KW right now and no major problems either. If I do decide to lease in a year I’ll most likely get a KW
as someone who rocked KW t680s they have a TON of electrical issues and all parts on super duper back order. 6+ months. ive done freightliner, kenworth, and petes, the freightliner has the most room
If you like your current truck, you could choose the FX lease program. I drove Freightliner, International, and Kenworth. Freightliner was my favorite so far. After 2 years and 3 months as company driver, I decided to lease. (MRP program)
I wanna know your pay with swift when u first started how much did u get paid for your first time by yourself or whoever u wanna do it. Talk about it please.
Don’t even do lease find a small company I work for a small company started with them with no experience and I get payed 3,000 doing team a week just find a small company and save up to become a owner operator
Dude do NOT lease to buy at swift. for one they pay between 1.05 to 1.20 a mile which is total BS. 2 after your how ever many years you need Outside Financing to BUY the truck and then they want around 65k IF you want to lease to buy from a MEGA carrier goto PRIME inc. but at the present time there stopped there ACE lease which is the one where you own the truck after 3-4 years and they pay PERCENTAGE a low one 35 i think but do not lease from Swift just be a company driver get a years experience then goto a smaller company that offers buy to leaseing.....trust me you will regret it.
@@ownleyotrtrucking1932 still Very low and then they make you buy the truck for 65k.... look up swifts videos. one of there last ones was on leasing and O/O just this month they said 1.05 to 1.20. Maybe they changed there minds in last few weeks. still WAY better options out there after you have 1 year in with no accidents or tickets.

Think you should get the best combo between maintenance costs, mpg and weekly payments. Congratulations on the house and good luck🤘

Everything is good thanks for reaching out just been super busy I started making another video but then get sidetracked lol
@@ownleyotrtrucking1932 As long as you’re doing good man!
Does swift pay for academy training? That would suck if they don’t. And dedicate drivers do they take the truck home?
I'd pick Volvo personally, girlfriends dad is a vet trucker and i believe he said that volvos are pretty darn good
I know they ride like a Cadillac. But those new kw are look amazing on the outside
I'm on the eastern regional with swift, maybe I'll run into you sometime.
Hope to see you then. Still got a bit of time before I go lease probably around late March 😅
Hopefully we can see some updated vidoes soon :)
Alright I'll try to work on it today!
How long does it take to pay a lease on a truck?
I say you stay company until fuel prices go down.
I wanna know your pay with swift when u first started how much did u get paid for your first time by yourself or whoever u wanna do it. Talk about it please.

3k for teams? I would not be doing that lol you can make like 5 to 6k a week as a oo mentor
kw t680
Kenworth all the way but to be honest if there was a choice I would stick with the freightliner
It is such a rough ride tho
@@ownleyotrtrucking1932 I don’t know I guess I like the interior also depending on the interior model some come with a built in gps

Never do a lease with a company who pays by the mile. Look for one who pays percentage. I think swift pays less than $1.20 a mile.
1.30 to 1.40. With a .30-.40cpm fuel surcharge
