Any chance you might review the new Ryobi vacuums? Personally I’m most interested in their new One+ HP swift clean wet dry stick vac. I have a cordless Tineco hard floor wet/dry stick vacuum and it does a good job on my hard floors except for two things. Its run time is too short and it only effectively picks up liquid on the forward stroke, not the backward stroke. This means I have to constantly move forward to get a good clean which is difficult and I often run out of battery before my cleaning is done. The ability to swap batteries, plus I have a lot of Ryobi 18v batteries and their fastest charger, is really intriguing to me. If it were to also effectively pick up water on the forward and backward stroke, I’d buy one in an instant. Sadly I can’t find any decent reviews on it or any of the other new Ryobi vacuums for that matter. Any chance you might be able to help? I’d also love a test of all the new cordless shop vacuum style vacuums offered by name brand tool manufacturers like Ridgid, Ryobi, Milwaukee, Ego and so on. I know you tested them in the past but those are all very old models now that have all been replaced with newer and better models.
Thats was my thoughts. Since when do we apologize to a company because of an accurate observation.? The company went out and made V 1.2 better. The update doesn't change the fact that the v1 wasn't very good. From the customer side, no mistakes were made.

This model is fantastic. I’ve gone through 4 Narwal Freo X Ultras, 1 Narwal Freo X Plus, Ecovacs N8 Pro Plus, and an older modeled iRobot. I feel like I have finally found a model that just simply works. Mapping works, navigation, obstacle avoidance, not getting caught in rugs, not getting stuck under chairs.. handling mixed floors wonderfully.. the app is great and doesn’t bug out.. pet feature is neat. FINALLY a keeper. 👍🏼 great job Roborock, great job VacuumWars for all the hard work!
Just my two cents on the "apology" section of the video - You tested the MaxV right out of the box (assuming it was a production unit and not a pre-production unit) and that's what people would have also experienced out of the box at that time. You are testing the Q Revo Master in the same fashion and it performed better without needing a retroactive firmware updated months later. I don't think you need to apologize for the low obstacle avoidance score because that's how it performed until now. Roborock should understand this. 🙂
I'm curious about what puts this above the X40 Ultra? On the face of it the stats for the X40 are better, the features are as good or better. Is it just that it's cheaper?
Little blades around the axles is brilliant!. Good job Roborock! This may be my next robot vacuum, but it's so expensive. The most I've ever paid for a vacuum was $300 and I thought that was insane. Times have changed.
At this point I wonder why Roborock hasnt just ditched the Max series and just gone all into the QRevo. My original QRevo is an absolute gem still going strong and as my first robot vacuum it has literally changed our lives for the better.
vibrating plate leaves less streaks and residue on floors that it's easy to notice how it was mopped. He always test mopping on white flooring, that's the easiest to mop
Two negatives for me are the lack of automatic detergent dispensing and the inability to remove the mop pads for a vacuum-only job, which makes me prefer the Dreame X40. However, Roborocks do navigate more efficiently. I guess one robot can't have it all.
Before I purchased mine, I also thought the mop pads removal function from the X40is good, but I didn't proceed with the X40 because of the extreme price plus the not so good review for their apps. My Qrevo Master so far works flawlessly on the mopping front - I have one big very high-pile carpet in my living room. I set up the robot to vacuum the carpet first, then only proceed with the vacuum+mop for other area of my house.
I got an old Z10 Pro from Dreame with the old app that works great, but I'm looking to upgrade this Black Friday to either the X40 or this Q Revo Master. I'm however non the wiser and would like some advice 😅I only got two very flat carpets and it's not an issue for me to order the robot to first vacuum then mop.
Rolling Mops from Eufy S1 Pro is the best mop, spinning is easy second and then vibrating mops and then stationary ones. The problem with spinning is that the mop is dirty and the robot must return home and then go back. The problem with vibration and stationary mops is that they drag dirt everywhere. The rolling mop in the Eufy is designed to roll and "spill" its dirty water it picked up into a dirty water tank for later. Which means that we have not yet achieved a near perfect vacuum+mop combo
the rolling mop cant reach the sides or corners. the spinning mop is the best option for overall coverage. This is coming from a guy who is testing all types currently lol since i got two for my work and one for my home. i am going to keep the Q Master for the home and dreame L20 for the showrooms. since they are a bit cheaper and can be linked directly to water and drain. "Edit" I did try Eufy S1 and S8 MaxV Ultra. Didn't like either as much as the two i am keeping and the Eufy software overall isn't as good as Robo and Dreame.
Yeah roller can't get very edge.. But I also don't really care. Honestly I dislike spinning disk that reaches out more.. I'd rather have a gap than get water on baseboards. I don't think you need mopping that close.. Dust collects there but nit stuff that needs mopping.
@@Bexamous I'd rather have a 99% clean floor than an 80% clean one. The spinning pads use far less water than a conventional mop which people use up to their baseboards with little issue so you're inventing a problem that doesn't exist.
Who'd have thunk a moving (rotating) mop would clean better than a static (non moving). Our Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra streaks like crazy, and textured floor and all corners are FILTHY. Ordered the Eufy S1 Pro because we have only hard floors, and it's the best mop currently. Hoping to have MUCH better luck.
So I have the Qrevo pro and overall I love it. It really works great. I have some gripes about the app and how cumbersome it can be to accurately break up rooms but once you have it set there really isn't a lot of need to keep on changing your rooms so that becomes a knot issue. But the one thing that annoys me several times a week is it inability to detect chords. This is the biggest nuisance because you always have to remember to go move chords for things like a fan or maybe the cord that is coming off of your subwoofers or speakers. And then also the random iPhone cables that the kids may leave laying around. I really wish they would have done a better job with the optical avoidance and honestly this thing would've been almost perfect for my usage.
There’s a reason this is top of the list! After two miserable experiences with the Roomba Combo J9+, I switched to this one and I haven’t looked back! Such a great setup! No issues whatsoever. Also, I got it for $950 during the last Prime Days sale!!
Thanks for sharing Chris. One question on your conclusions -- It seems like the Dreame X40 Ultra still has higher performance scores across the board? So is price-difference driving the change in ranking primarily? Seems like a big downgrade in obstacle avoidance and it still lacks the ability to drop the mops, which is great for higher carpets. (I've only ever seen the Dreame at $1699 and below, so the MSRP seems to be a marketing thing like many companies do...) Anything we are missing here other than the price? Thanks again for your work, you provide incredible insight for these things.
Exactly the question I was about to post. After watching this video I immediately went back to watch the X40 review video again because I was thinking the same as you and yes, the X40 does have higher scores so I’m thinking it might have been price that tipped the balance.
Seems off, because the price difference between the qrevo master and eufy X10 pro is way bigger and performance is similar. So with price in mind, the x10 should be the clear winner imo. I feel like the flagship king should mainly be based on performance though and only on price if performance is equal. Thus the dreame x40 should keep the crown.
Great minds lol. I’m still in the return window for my x40 ultra for 4 more days so I was wondering what I should do. In Canada, the x40 ultra is the same price as the s8 maxv ultra ($2,599), but the x40 is $300 off regularly (and I got it $500 off during prime days). So if the master is a few hundred less than the maxV then my x40 is still cheaper.
One difference in features in Q Revo Master's favour seems to be that it has the removable (plastic) plate underneath the spinning pads. For easier cleaning of the base.
@@8054k Agreed on the "flagship king" although on your other point maybe comparing X10 with Q Revo Master (QRM) isn't applicable because the QRM feature set is (in my opinion) in a different league to X10 and much more comparable to Dreame X40 since X10 doesn't have hot-water mop washing, hot water floor scrubbing, auto detergent tank, swing out side brush, swing-out mop or self-cleaning mop tray (and maybe other stuff I haven't considered). Don't get me wrong, the X10 is a great robot and amazing value for money and one could argue about how much those extra features are necessary but if one is trying to compare flagship models then I wouldn't say that the X10 is playing in that league. (I have the Eufy X10 as my robot vacuum doing daily whole-apartment cleans in my main home. I love it and once I get my next vacuum, right now that's looking like it will be the Dreame X40 Master, I'm going to take the Eufy to my holiday home as an (absolutely massive) upgrade to my Roborock s5 Max.)
Could you also review the qrevo s model? I’d love you learn what is missing with the cheaper qrevo s compared to qrevo master and whether it makes sense to spend more for a premium model.
August 29th - Sept 4th, the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra is going to be on sale for $1099 and it’s practically the same as the Roborock QRevo Master besides the swinging mop which can technically get further under things (instead it has a separate spinning small mop pad to get the edges) Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra has better obstacle avoidance in my opinion 73 vs 62 items on the QRevo Master. Auto detergent dispenser, bigger water tank (100 vs 80) and dustbin volume (270 vs 220) within the machine 20mm mop lift vs 10mm mop lifting). I enjoy these comparisons and enjoy this channel HOWEVER they share a completely different view on top machines than I do regarding top machines and their reasonings and test numbers. There is a reason why it’s Roborocks top of the line machine. Wait until Aug 29th-Sep 4th and thank me later. 🎉 PS, no additional sale price on the QRevo Master it will be $1399 during the sale. PSS. My top machines for Both Vacuuming and Mopping and individual below: Best Overall Both in order top 3: Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra, Roborock QRevo Master, Dreame X40 Ultra (removable mop pads and better avoidance but not as good a vacuum as the QRevo Master) Best Vacuum: Dyson 360 Vis Nav (firmware updated Aug) Best Mop: EufyLife S1 Pro
How do you feel about the Dreame L20 or L10s. They are both around $600 for Labor Day. I'd rather not spend 1k. I'm happy with the cleaning performance of my ecovacs T8. But I like the mop washing/drying/refilling features of these newer models.
@@prviolist the L10s is one of the best vacuums around. It’s ability to pick up debris on carpet is very high for its lower Pa ratings. Its ability to stay flush against carpet gives it an edge form what I’ve seen.
I've had two Roborocks. On the first one, the Lidar stopped working after 4 cleaning runs. Nothing was stuck, it just stopped every couple of minutes so was unusuable. I sent it back and received a replacement. It had the same problem but it started doing it after 7 runs. They wanted me to send it back to get another replacement but I insisted on a refund. It was good when it worked but ultimately my Roborock experience leads me to believe the model is basically defective. Roborock Q8 max +. I hope others don't suffer the same problems.
I noticed no mention of the mop pads. How well did it do? Did it leave residue? How about switching from hard floors to carpet. Did it get the carpet wet??
I bought the Qrevo Curv during Amazon Prime Days and just got it today. Still in the box because I had to go to work. Is your review coming soon? Curious what you think, and I cant wait to set mine up when I get home.
We think you will enjoy it! The Curv is our #1 Robot Vacuum right now! We have finished our tests are working on the video review, but we just announced the update here: vacuumwars.com/vacuum-wars-updates-top-20-robot-vacuums/
It would be very interesting to compare it to the Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat. They functionality is almost identical. Same goes for the software and website. Maybe that could be your next review?
do you know where to get replacement batteries that actually work well? i like the vacuum but it's only a matter of time until the battery gives out and doesnt make sense to buy another vacuum
With the current sale the S8 MaxV is the same price that the Q Revo Master was recently. Putting price aside, are there any reasons to prefer the QRevo Master over the S8 MaxV Ultra?
Why Apologies? You should review what's in front of you and if the firmware/performance was bad than the firmware/performance was bad. You can pin a comment later on saying that the issue was corrected with a firmware update. Still, this issues should be pointed out for early adopters.
I got my Qrevo Master end of June2024 and since then, the robot has cleaned nearly 1,800m2 (31hours worth of running time) of space in my house. My previous robot vaccum was Deebot T9 which I got in Nov2021. I sold this robot just 3 months after - in short, this robot require so much babysitting (i.e. I need to be there to see what it was doing to intervene in case it did something not right) that make me think it defeats the purpose of having a robot. I told myself not to use this technology again because at that time, I think it was more for gimmick rather than practicality/ usability. Everything changed when I got my 2 cats that shed so much fur. The constant use of my Dyson stick vacuum make me tired and I start looking around for new robot vacuum. My criteria - efficiency of the robot and the ease of use for the software. My god, the Qrevo Master surpasses all my expectation. It cleans well, the scheduled cleaning work flawlessly, obstacle avoidance is good (I don't have much things on the floor anyway, and my cats so far haven't had any accidental poop/pee outside the litter box). The camera and call function is a good gimmick to show to my relatives (and to justify the purchased price, lol). Again, totally worth the money I paid. I rarely post reviews, but this product is too good to share the info with others.
Thanks for the reviews! I wonder though, which would you consider as the best among the Q Revo Master, the S8 MaxV Ultra, and the Dreame X40 Ultra, if prices were the same? In my region, they each sell for a very similar price of around $1400.
Could you test cords that are close to the wall or run length wise and are not wound in a circle? I have had my Roborock Ultra MaxV7 since launch and while a lot of the avoidance stuff is true, I have found that say you have an air purifier out or a fan out, it will not avoid that chord if it's running a few feet across the room. In will in fact suck that right up and rip the cord out of the fans if they are easily removable. It's not great on those hot days because you have to then move the fan or strategically put shoes around the cord to stop it from eating them up. One of my biggest gripes.
Love the video. I still have my s5 running strong after 5 years. I like the new features but waiting for the time where we can use detergent while mopping and maybe some floor steaming features. That would be cool.
So which one should I buy? S8 maxV Ultra or Qrevo Master? Currently they are onsale for $999 vs $1099 Do they have very similar feature sets? (lift mop on carpet, video/picture, etc?) Is the main difference the mopping pad?
How good it the master at not leaving a sticky surface? Im going back and forth on the master vs the eufy s1 pro, and the main driving force behind the pro for me right now is the reports that its extremely good at not leaving a sticky surface when juice or similar is spilled
I'm torn between waiting for Qrevo Edge with Refill and Drainage System and just getting Dreame X40 Master. Any suggestions? I'd prefer the Roborock because of suction power and the fact it can fit within a standard 40cm kitchen cabinet, whereas the Dreame would need a custom sized (426mm) cabinet just for it and if I decide to replace it one day, I'm stuck with that unusual size.
I’m about to buy Robot vacuum and I was thinking about the X40 but maybe now I should consider buying the Roborock. But how about if both are cost the same? Then roborock is still Nr 1 or the X40?
The labor day sale puts the Revo Master at $999 vs S8 MaxV Ultra at $1099, for $100 for me personally its worth upgrading to the auto dispense detergent if their mopping and vacuuming power is relatively the same.
Are you able to leave a note in the previous video, was a deal-breaker for me but glad it's since been fixed. I got the Ecovacs t30 instead and it's just been a nightmare😢
I want to buy another Roborock but have had to return my S7 MaxV multiple times and it is still not fixed. The customer support even stopped responding when I tried to work out next steps. Don't think I can justify getting a high-end unit from this brand again.
I too have had terrible experience with Roborock support, found them rude and dismissive and wouldn't stand behind their product. Bought a Dreame and couldn't be happier
I have 20mm door treshholds between rooms, so it would be interesting to see some "offroad capabilities" of the robot cleaners. It would not be a problem for most users, but it would be valuable information. I know from my experience that S5 is a beast, only occasionally struggles when the mop is on.
Hi Vacuumwars, I was wondering if you had to choose, would you choose this one or the Dreame L20 Ultra? The L20 ultra is about €500 cheaper here. Now the price isnt an issue, but I was wondering if there is any remarkable changes? Thankyou!!
I am keen to purchase this. My house has 2 floors. What should I do when I want to vacuum and mop the 2nd floor? Will I bring the robot upstairs? What will the robot do when it finish if there is no station upstairs?
Hi fellow experts, should i get a manual mop and basic vacuum together with an elite robot vacuum, or an upright vacuum (vacuum plus mop combo) and save on everything else? What is currently stopping me is the fact that i will need to get the filter replaced often with the upright vacuum and I plan to only clean my house about once every 1-2 weeks.
@@AY-ry4hr just bought it and it's quite an impressive device. I don't think the guy is paid but if he is to test a good product honestly, I don't really see an issue with it.
Just purchased this unit based on your review and received it yesterday. You were saying the app was one of the best in the industry and I feel like I’ve been struggling with it! I’ve had multiple rumbas over the years and this is replacing our J7+. It took me forever to get it set up on Wi-Fi and I had to create a entirely separate 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network just for this vacuum. I’m also completely unable to create custom room names in the app. Is that even an option or am I missing something or does my app just suck? I’m not an iPhone. Any recommendations would be amazing.
How do these vacuums perform on high pile rugs? Are they able to make the transitions without getting stuck? Can they suck cat litter out of a high pile rug?
you know, the extend brush functionality could easily be achieve just by have a longer side brush. May add a brush guard at the wheel to prevent the wheel from tangle it. Seems like it add way more complexity and cost to add a servo arm when you literally just need to add a longer brush.
I want to get this model once it comes out in my country. One question tho. Dust and dirty water tank is one container on the dock right ? How about pet fur in the mix ? Do issues arise ?
To quote many of the top reviewers: don't buy for the promise, buy for the now. So if the object detection sucked when you tested it, then it sucked. It's good that it improved, but no need to apologize.
The Curv is our #1 Robot Vacuum right now! We have finished our tests are working on the video review, but we just announced the update here: vacuumwars.com/vacuum-wars-updates-top-20-robot-vacuums/
Thanks as always! Moving into a new condo and was looking to upgrade, Would have bought the roborock flagship but you saved me 400 bucks! Will by with the link to support the channel!
I’m really wondering why you put this robot above the dreame x40 ultra since it has such lower suction. Although looking at your own videos, it does look like it actually picked up more than the dreame. Your videos don’t give the same numbers so I can’t exactly compare one to the other. Also, does this one have the ability to put your own cleaner in a separate area or do you have to put your cleaner in the big water tank?
As others said, don't apologize for testing them as-shipped. Never, ever start implying that some products are "recommended" in expectation of some upcoming feature/software update.
You don't touch on the lack of a Detergent Dispenser feature - don't you see it being an important thing to get clean floors? Or is it not that important with the hot water?
Hello Vacuum Wars! I need your help choosing the best robot vacuum and mop for my studio apartment. It's a compact space, but I want the robot vacuum to mop and vacuum daily or every other day. Because it is a studio and I sometimes spill food while working in the kitchen, I want it cleaned up quickly. I also want my bathroom to be mopped daily. I am considering the Q Revo Master because I am a bit of a technology fan and I might move to a new place next year. At the same time, I don't want to spend unnecessarily. Can you help?
Where are the metrics for the carpet and deep clean tests?? It makes it a lot harder to compare options if these are included for some, like the s7 max ultra, but not others. How can we know what you are basing your opinions on for it being the best out of all robots?
It’s frustrating that you love nearly every vacuum robot and keep changing your top choice. Also, why not compare the top contenders instead of each vacuum against its own company’s previous model?
Because new robots bring new improvements, and technically, this company has the best models, so it makes sense to compare it to others. I was thinking about buying, so I want to know what's different between this and the company's budget models.

@VacuumWars could you please make a video for the different QRevo performances - QRevo, Max, Master... what is the difference? suction and side brush?
I wish they had a “skip today’s cleaning button” instead of having to turn off the schedule and then remember to turn it back on
I bought one after watching this video and I love it so much! Blows away my Irobot I have had for years.
Glad you enjoy it!
(I've only ever seen the Dreame at $1699 and below, so the MSRP seems to be a marketing thing like many companies do...)
Anything we are missing here other than the price?
August 29th - Sept 4th, the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra is going to be on sale for $1099 and it’s practically the same as the Roborock QRevo Master besides the swinging mop which can technically get further under things (instead it has a separate spinning small mop pad to get the edges)
Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra has better obstacle avoidance in my opinion 73 vs 62 items on the QRevo Master.
PS, no additional sale price on the QRevo Master it will be $1399 during the sale.
PSS. My top machines for Both Vacuuming and Mopping and individual below:
Best Overall Both in order top 3: Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra, Roborock QRevo Master, Dreame X40 Ultra (removable mop pads and better avoidance but not as good a vacuum as the QRevo Master)
Best Vacuum: Dyson 360 Vis Nav (firmware updated Aug)
Best Mop: EufyLife S1 Pro
Where is it going to be on sale?
@@Pekeg84 on Amazon and the Roborock site.
How do you feel about the Dreame L20 or L10s. They are both around $600 for Labor Day. I'd rather not spend 1k. I'm happy with the cleaning performance of my ecovacs T8. But I like the mop washing/drying/refilling features of these newer models.
Ho @vaccumwars do you think s8maxv for 1,1k is better then qrevo master?
@@prviolist the L10s is one of the best vacuums around. It’s ability to pick up debris on carpet is very high for its lower Pa ratings. Its ability to stay flush against carpet gives it an edge form what I’ve seen.
How about Qrevo Slim compare to Master? Thanks
Great video. Do you have an idea of when your review for the Roborock Qrevo Curv
Soon! Maybe next week. Thank you for asking.
Our full review of the Roborock Curve is up now! th-cam.com/video/Ln72RoGb95w/w-d-xo.html
How is the Roborock Q Revo Master better than the X40 ultra?
This review and the “new #1” so quickly after x40 seems suspicious
Always grateful for your diligent, professional work.👍👍👍
I just love this channel! I'm not even shopping for a robot vacuum. I just love the reviews! 😭😭😭
Thanks so much!
Our full review of the Roborock Curve is up now! th-cam.com/video/Ln72RoGb95w/w-d-xo.html
It would be very interesting to compare it to the Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat. They functionality is almost identical. Same goes for the software and website. Maybe that could be your next review?
Thanks for letting us know about the firmware upgrade. I recently bought Qrevo Maxv and it did avoid the wires
do you know where to get replacement batteries that actually work well? i like the vacuum but it's only a matter of time until the battery gives out and doesnt make sense to buy another vacuum
Do you think it’s more quieter then A iRobot j6+ on hard force?
With the current sale the S8 MaxV is the same price that the Q Revo Master was recently. Putting price aside, are there any reasons to prefer the QRevo Master over the S8 MaxV Ultra?
In his recent review he rates the master over the s8 maxV. You can look at his round up from a little bit ago to see his reasoning
Why Apologies? You should review what's in front of you and if the firmware/performance was bad than the firmware/performance was bad. You can pin a comment later on saying that the issue was corrected with a firmware update. Still, this issues should be pointed out for early adopters.
Nice. I picked a Q Revo from Costco from your reviews and comparison to the S7/S8. It works really well as long as it doesn't get trapped by a cable.
Just replaced my Roomba j9+ combo with this qrevo master. Holy crap!!!! Amazing
Super input! Thank you for sharing and we are so glad you are happy with that Qrevo Master!
Thanks for the reviews! I wonder though, which would you consider as the best among the Q Revo Master, the S8 MaxV Ultra, and the Dreame X40 Ultra, if prices were the same? In my region, they each sell for a very similar price of around $1400.
Any idea how this realistically compares with the Narwal Freo Z Ultra?
Could you test cords that are close to the wall or run length wise and are not wound in a circle? I have had my Roborock Ultra MaxV7 since launch and while a lot of the avoidance stuff is true, I have found that say you have an air purifier out or a fan out, it will not avoid that chord if it's running a few feet across the room. In will in fact suck that right up and rip the cord out of the fans if they are easily removable. It's not great on those hot days because you have to then move the fan or strategically put shoes around the cord to stop it from eating them up. One of my biggest gripes.
Great video thank you!! I have a question, would this work in an apartment which is mostly low pile carpet, only the kitchen is carpet free
Is the Roomba J9+ Combo outdated ? Got big discounts here but can't figure out what it has less then the Revo Master... Any opinions ?
How does the q Revo s compare to the master?
Love the video. I still have my s5 running strong after 5 years. I like the new features but waiting for the time where we can use detergent while mopping and maybe some floor steaming features. That would be cool.
My S5' battery just died😢😢 that's what made me come to this video, looking for a new roborock
Awsome videos. Do you still think the Eufy X10 Pro Omni is the best value or is it really worth it to get Roborock Qrevo Master? Thanks.
Other than price, how did this one do better/worse than the X40?
Is it better than Dreame x40 Ultra?
If I want to use it mostly for mopping, the which one is best?
Obstacle avoidance on my Qrevo Master is terrible. I have auto Firmware updates on, but I'm still on 02.21.74
So which one should I buy? S8 maxV Ultra or Qrevo Master? Currently they are onsale for $999 vs $1099
Do they have very similar feature sets? (lift mop on carpet, video/picture, etc?) Is the main difference the mopping pad?
How good it the master at not leaving a sticky surface? Im going back and forth on the master vs the eufy s1 pro, and the main driving force behind the pro for me right now is the reports that its extremely good at not leaving a sticky surface when juice or similar is spilled
I am choosing between Roborock Q Revo Master and Ecovacs Deebot T30s, any user opinions?
I really wana see a head to head on the 40 ultra and the qrevo master … if price wasn’t a consideration would you still pick the quevo as number 1 ?
I'm torn between waiting for Qrevo Edge with Refill and Drainage System and just getting Dreame X40 Master. Any suggestions? I'd prefer the Roborock because of suction power and the fact it can fit within a standard 40cm kitchen cabinet, whereas the Dreame would need a custom sized (426mm) cabinet just for it and if I decide to replace it one day, I'm stuck with that unusual size.
Great review as always. One question, if there is water on the floor, can AI detect that and not vacuum over it?
I’m about to buy Robot vacuum and I was thinking about the X40 but maybe now I should consider buying the Roborock. But how about if both are cost the same? Then roborock is still Nr 1 or the X40?
The labor day sale puts the Revo Master at $999 vs S8 MaxV Ultra at $1099, for $100 for me personally its worth upgrading to the auto dispense detergent if their mopping and vacuuming power is relatively the same.
Will this detect and avoid dog poop and dog throw up?
is this version not available in europe? cant find it on amazon nor on the official website?
Are you able to leave a note in the previous video, was a deal-breaker for me but glad it's since been fixed. I got the Ecovacs t30 instead and it's just been a nightmare😢
Any ideia how the Qrevo Slim compares to this one?
I want to buy another Roborock but have had to return my S7 MaxV multiple times and it is still not fixed. The customer support even stopped responding when I tried to work out next steps. Don't think I can justify getting a high-end unit from this brand again.
I too have had terrible experience with Roborock support, found them rude and dismissive and wouldn't stand behind their product. Bought a Dreame and couldn't be happier
Which one should I buy Roborock Q Revo Master or DREAME X40 Ultra Complete if the price is almost the same?
You be fancy and buy 2 of them. Honestly.
@@shepsean1 it's a bad news for the day 🤣
Hi fellow experts, should i get a manual mop and basic vacuum together with an elite robot vacuum, or an upright vacuum (vacuum plus mop combo) and save on everything else? What is currently stopping me is the fact that i will need to get the filter replaced often with the upright vacuum and I plan to only clean my house about once every 1-2 weeks.
Is the same update available for the qrevo plus...ive see its obstacle avoidance is pretty bad as well
Not sure I understand how the ranking works. The dreame x40 still seems to be the hands down solution.
That’s what I don’t understand
@@732oZAINO why?
They’re getting paid on the side for this I bet
@@AY-ry4hr just bought it and it's quite an impressive device. I don't think the guy is paid but if he is to test a good product honestly, I don't really see an issue with it.
The dock self station is a feature I wish I had on my ECOVACs t20 😭 this qrevo looks insane!! Great review as always
What is the Mop Pad Pressure?
Why is this better than the dream x40? Is it just the cost. Are they basically the same?
Whats the difference Q revo vs Q revo master?
thank you, might just hold off for a bit until this is available in australia. Then I can make a proper decision based on price/performance
you know, the extend brush functionality could easily be achieve just by have a longer side brush. May add a brush guard at the wheel to prevent the wheel from tangle it. Seems like it add way more complexity and cost to add a servo arm when you literally just need to add a longer brush.
Great video. Would love to see a review of the QX Revo that Costco sells. It’s extremely popular but I have yet to find a review
I want to get this model once it comes out in my country. One question tho. Dust and dirty water tank is one container on the dock right ? How about pet fur in the mix ? Do issues arise ?
What makes this one better then the Dreame X40 Ultra?
Is it possible a vaccum only ride?
To quote many of the top reviewers: don't buy for the promise, buy for the now. So if the object detection sucked when you tested it, then it sucked. It's good that it improved, but no need to apologize.
Are you guys testing the Roborock Qrevo Curv? Does it have all the sam features this one does?
The Curv is our #1 Robot Vacuum right now! We have finished our tests are working on the video review, but we just announced the update here: vacuumwars.com/vacuum-wars-updates-top-20-robot-vacuums/

Thanks as always! Moving into a new condo and was looking to upgrade, Would have bought the roborock flagship but you saved me 400 bucks! Will by with the link to support the channel!
Awesome! Thanks!
Does it still take twice as long to clean as the Q Revo? Just wondering if that was also a software issue.
Should return my S7 Pro to get this instead ?
As others said, don't apologize for testing them as-shipped. Never, ever start implying that some products are "recommended" in expectation of some upcoming feature/software update.
I've always wondered how these robots avoid pulling fluids to the vacuum part... How does that work?
You don't touch on the lack of a Detergent Dispenser feature - don't you see it being an important thing to get clean floors? Or is it not that important with the hot water?
You have to manually refill the clean water tank anyway, so you just add a serving of detergent during refill
Will you be reviewing the Shark Powerdetect 2-in-1 w/ base? That one looks promising. Thanks for all of the great reviews!
Glad they improved it. I had a Revo for a week and it was horrible. My Eufy X10 has been much better
Just got this from Amazon for $950!! I’m stoked!
Enjoy!
It’s frustrating that you love nearly every vacuum robot and keep changing your top choice. Also, why not compare the top contenders instead of each vacuum against its own company’s previous model?
AGREE!
Because new robots bring new improvements, and technically, this company has the best models, so it makes sense to compare it to others. I was thinking about buying, so I want to know what's different between this and the company's budget models.
Could you test Dreame L10s pro ultra heat as well.
