I recently switched mine out but the light came back on. I went to code it, and it was still saying the purge control value is the issue. any ideas? Im thinking maybe the hose is the problem, but I have no clue.
Hey man, I replaced mine, and disconnected battery to clear code but couple of days after light came back on. I read code still says same “canister purge valve.” What do i need to do to clear code permanently?
@@camahavids2008 Hi, did you use a ob2 scanner code tool? I have an innova one and erased code then it shows as permanent code. For some reason I am not able to remove it but, the engine light is gone.
How did you wreck it 😂

Howler Did you drive it after you put the new one on? Mine took about 100 miles to go away

@@simpsonfan13 I think it cleared itself after driving. Disconnecting might work though

Mahendra Lal Yeah, no more code after driving for about 100 miles
You know mechanics call the check engine light the MONEY LIGHT!

Austin Lowriding I never used a scanner tool after I replaced the part, the light just went away by itself
You're replacing the vapor canister purge valve. Good video though.
