    Is this the 2.0 ? Good feedback. I rode the 2.0 medium but I’m 5 10. So it feel small. I felt the seat angle was 1.5 to steep. The rear was amazing, it felt nice and nimble, better than other enduro’s I tried. the front felt tall and awkward on steep tech climbs but downhill was super fun and plush.

    New to your channel and love your reviews! Very insightful for shoppers. Would you please rank these four bikes from your most to least favorite, as if you could own just one? Based on your videos, my guess is...Ripley, Trail 429, Tallboy, SB120.

    • @mtbyumyum
      @mtbyumyum  ปีที่แล้ว

      If I could only own one bike it would need to be something with more travel I think... that said, of the bikes you listed you have them in the correct order. Ripley is the easy winner for me... I should also mention that I recommend the T429 more often to people because it is the more well rounded bike... so are the Tallboy and SB120... more well rounded "trail bikes" than the Ripley... Hope that helps!

    Welcome to California! My trials here in Marin County are steep 😅. Regarding the Fezzari I like the review from pinkbike. For the travel they say the bike can be twitchy. Interesting that you compare it to the Altitude. Other reviews have called the La Sal a quiver killer enduro bike where the Altitude is more of a hard edged race weapon. But I can kinda see the comparison as the Altitude is designed for response over plushness and neither bike is sized particularly big

    • @mtbyumyum
      @mtbyumyum  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, it may have been a sizing thing... good point. In any case, I've not seen any reviews on the La Sal Peak and I'm not uniquely familiar with the bike or the brand. It was less demanding/cumbersome than other bikes in this category that I've ridden and more maneuverable and easy to change directions than others in this long travel category. It wasn't overly demanding/difficult to get the bike to move or change directions even at more moderate speeds.

    As far as doing "trail duty", being playful, and climbing, how does it compare to the Pivot Firebird? In your Firebird video, you seemed to think that bike could still be fun on a big day. Thanks for the great videos!

    • @mtbyumyum
      @mtbyumyum  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good question. I have a lot more time on the Firebird. It feels burlier and slightly more capable when things get crazy…. I would need to ride them back to back but the Firebird just feels like a nicer tighter overall package. Firebird never felt like “too much bike” on more chill rides either
