Kim, you are totally rocking the pink walls and the green shirt looks fabulous on you, especially against the pink walls! Thank you for sharing your beautiful stitching!
Hi Kim, had to leave watching on the TV and come to my computer to Thank You for the shout out. I've loved your videos since the beginning. Love all the projects and plans as always. Happy Stitching!
Kim, I appreciate your husband sharing the word of God. I also appreciate you and your way of stitching. I love your September stitch of all different pieces from different designs. What a great idea! And I would also love to create a sort of bell pull with different motifs. That is genius! As for the sides you can cut the width an inch bigger and fold the sides a quarter inch over twice and straight stitch it down. I think I will definitely make one.
This video was exquisite. You appear at play in beautiful fields of pink. Love, love, your room. So many lovely projects. Thank you for sharing, my friend. ❤❤
You are always such an inspiration! I was chatting with others who watch you at Stitch in London - we are all in love with how you adapt the designs to suit you. And I adore your pink walls! Happy Stitching, love Clare xxx ❤
I am so sorry. I have been watching and am subscribed to your channel since the very beginning, but have never commented. I admire you greatly. Your choices are perfect, your stitching is beautiful and you are one of the sweetest and kindest people I “know”. Thank you for your videos.
HI Kim, I shared my Mary Carr progress with you way back at Sampler Symposium in Jan- well I finally finished it! It was alot of work , but completely worth it. Good luck making progress on yours- can't wait to see it. I love to see all of your stitching- thanks so much for doing flosstubes.
I always know I’m in for a treat when your video pops up. Thank you for sharing your beautiful needlework, you always give so much inspiration. Thank you to your husband too.
Ohhhh all the pink!! I just love your Vintage Tulip Designs on that fabric and the mash up is perfect! Really enjoyed catching up with you. I’m working on Thy Love More Strong and it’s my favorite right now, I think I’ll have a finish soon 💗
Another fantastic video. Few videos ago when you showed Christian Geissinger I wanted it so bad. I was able to get my copy half price from Sassy Jacks during her reopening sale. Have all over dyed floss and looking forward to starting it. You always enable me to
Kim! Thanks for mentioning me in your video!💜💜💜 My tiny start on Thy Love More Strong is on Vintage Strawflower by Lakeside. Can’t wait to see your start! You have motivated me to pull mine out in October. 😊
Kim , I just love the color of your craft room walls. With your dark hair and beautiful coloring, and pink samplers - you have created a vignette that is a joy to watch. Thank you again for inspiring us all 💕
I enjoy listening while I’m stitching. Although….I have to pause it several times to go searching for some of the charts you share 😂 as always, I enjoyed the scripture ❤
Oh my friend, what a joy to see your beautiful works. Confession... I often get interrupted watching Flosstubers and when I watch you, I think...did I make it to the end of Kim's video?...answer...what did Alan talk about? If I remember Alan, I know I saw it all. If not, I dig it back up for a finish. Too much fun to not see the whole thing start to finish, even if it takes 3 sessions to get through it all. Lol. Enjoy the rest of Sampler September. Happy birthday and Happy Anniversary!
Thank you so much for your kind words Kim! I have watched your videos for quite a while and was shocked when you mentioned my channel. I’m so happy to hear you’re excited about the swan! Also the samplers you have been showing are so inspiring!! I am so into French samplers right now thanks to you. 😁 Happy Sampler September!
I zeroed out three colours in my owl as I watched your video…so excited! I love your approach to mix and match motifs and designers. I envisioned myself stitching outside by the birdbath through the first summer of my retirement…I didn’t stitch outside at all…I am so glad I am not the only one. 🐦⬛🧵🪡🌻🍂🍁
Hey Kim!! I love your mashup of the Tulips for Rose chart, that’s so fun and clever! I’m so glad to hear you’re enjoying the crochet flowers 🌸 I’m super excited to start the bird wreath with you! ❤ great to catch up with you again!
Green definitely looks great on you! Loving your pink room! Your new bag matches your room so well! I think i need more happy pink in my life!I love Blackbird's Thy Love More Strong, and I have it all kitted up, so may start that with you. Thank your husband for his scripture reading! Always a highlight for me!
I watch you on my tv but I’m commenting to just say I love your videos! I will definitely be joining you on the red manor sampler by The Scarlett House-I love that one so much!
I watched over the last three days. You do look great in green with the pink walls behind you. I think it needs to be your signature look whenever you record your videos. The frame looks perfect as is from what I can see. I am going to participate in Lisa Smith the Kindred Stitcher’s sal in December. It is the Fragments in Time 2023 by Summerhouse Stitcheworkes. She explains on her last video how to download the free grid layout from the Summerhouse website. I like seven of the eight patterns. I will be coming up with something else for the 8th.
So many pretty designs, I have a vertical cross stitch that I got from an op shop, which I think is called a door pull, maybe that's what you need for your vertical sampler, but I wouldn't know if the fabric comes like that or you have to get made
There are these QR code labels and an app called 'in a box'. You can list and take photos, so you know what's in what box. I got mine from Bunnings (Australia)
Kim, Love the room and all your stitching. Are you thinking of Bell Pull fabric? I just ordered 27 count natural linen banding from 123 stitch and the edges are finished/binded. I really like it.
I love your stitching and yes you are an enabler 😁 What does a plate frame look like, I have never heard of them before. If you can and remember will you show it in your next video. Love y'all sharing bible verses, Thank you. Happy Stitching
Hi Kim, it was wonderful seeing your finishes and gorgeous stitching. Your pieces look wonderful on your walls! You are making such great progress on your WIPs. Thank you also for the scriptures. Would you be able to give me a floss conversion of muddy puddle to a DMC or cotton over dyed and ill try and match it to what I may have? That was for Maggie Mae. Happy stitching! Lori
Nice finish, love the pink, Nice frame too. There's no whining in cross stitch 😊 I love to dye my own fabrics for some pieces. I would darken that frame a little bit on that sampler piece. Eliz. one by Finger Work. I'd like the flowers the same since it is very symmetrical. Very nice samplers, S. Rickwood looks like fun one. I would shorten up the M. Ligertwood. Did you use the called for color fabric on the Needlemade Design (M. Campbell)? Maybe write down just 4-5 WIPS and choose from them within the month. 123 stitch has "Banding", like 27 Ct. Natural with a Dk Red Ticking Stripe and others colors.
@@ContentedNeedleworkerKim 🤣 I've found floss orts here & there, but never in the Butter, Haaaa. I whined just the other day, I couldn't find a fabric that I specifically bought for a Teresa Kogut chart, I looked everywhere - - found it on a scroll rod, ready to stitch. I'm losing it.
Hi, lovely video. Wondering if you could explain to me what you meant by a plate finish and maybe show me a picture. Love all the pink. It’s a great colour. 😍😊🇦🇺
Oh, I’m referring to the frames that people put collector plates in. They are round, so perfect for a round finish! I’ve framed a couple things this way already. You can see them in my room tour video
@@ContentedNeedleworkerKim Thanks for that, I’m guessing they are wooden. I have watched your room tour a few times trying to pick out which they are. Don’t think we have such a thing here in Australia, I have wall plates but you usually just use a wire hanger to hang them.
On my room tour, it’s the pink bird, Martha Walmsley, and there’s a nest of birds in a square-ish shape. They come right after I pass the window Hope this helps!
