The split might have happened because the bottom has a lot of pressure on it and as it shrinks it pulled it apart, so one sand for pottery under the next one , so beautiful well done😊

Oh the pink bowls are fab Nat, and I'm not a pink girl and I love them. Shame about the Chip and Dip crack but thanks for the shoutout. Its it crazy how the chips always have a blue consistent tone. On that shape I would have tried the chip all around the rim. The waterfall cascade of chips on a vertical surface is so different and dramatic, I love even more now than on a horizontal surface. On chip and dips be sure bowl and outer ring both bottoms are same depth, and compress, compress, compress
First thing I noticed was the picture of your bowl matches your shirt and your hair! Lol So glad everyone is back to work! I just got my first pint of reactive red and running hot chowder. The reactive red is sooo dry. It dries as soon as it hits the bisque! Adding the second coat was so hard because the brush stuck to the dried glaze on the piece and it was so hard to smooth. My running hot chowder had a huge rock hard chunk in it!! I’m really hoping I can like these glazes. The shape of the chip and dip is absolutely amazing!! So sorry about that darn crack!! My gosh that amaryllis bowl is soo gorgeous! Absolutely love that glaze combo!!! Can’t wait for your live you two! Trace I’m so glad your coworker is no longer there to bother you! Hahaha. We’ve all had those haven’t we??? Haha. Set my timer for your live!!!!❤ You know all of us will be there if we can!! It will be at 4pm for me and I live in the central time zone in the US!

Glazes/chips have a hard time running on flat surfices. Try fewer chips or finer ones next time
