I’m so grateful to have you in my life. I’ve been going through a real tuff time in my life, losing my mom in the past week. But your videos have helped me take a little time for me. It’s really hard y’all. Please pray for my family to get through this. I love you all.
🙏 you are in our prayers. I am so sorry for your loss. God is good and he will be there for every step of your healing. The more prayers the better. My congregation will pray for you and your family. God Bless and big hugs Sherry 🤗 I just subscribed to your channel and can't wait to view your videos. 😃
I love the way you do your tutorials. You don't fill them with a lot of useless talk, you get right to the point and to the business of the steps of your projects.
I have only been crafting for two years. I’m 70 years old and Covid shrunk my world and I had to find something to occupy me at home. I have been following you for six or eight months now and have enjoyed every project. Thank you very much for your clear and concise instructions. Congratulations
OMG… you simply amaze me with your creativity! You can look at things that I wouldn’t give a second glacé at, and turn them into works of art!!! Beautifully done!
I actually did not see the owl or I’ve had people also say a cat until I had to finish the sign and you all have been mentioning it in the comments but now that you have said it I can’t on see the owl definitely should’ve made it into a Halloween sign
OMG! How did I just find your videos now? You made everything look so beautiful! I love upcycling and your tips are just amazing! Thank you for sharing! I need to go watch more of your videos!! Very, very inspiring! Thank you!
I just came across your channel about 2 wks ago and i think you are absomutley amazing in everything you do and im learning so much from you. In hooked lol i love how you explain everything your a great teacher thankyou so much xx
Thanks so much Roberta glad you’re enjoying and my videos are helpful I always try to keep my tutorials fast into the point because our time is all very precious
I have a suggestion...for the project #3, the Tea sign: place an image of a black teapot on top on the wide part of the green frame. Maybe even a 3D sculptural sticker of a teapot you can make with your silicone molds?
You are totally amazing! Do you ever sleep? 😊I loved all those signs. You are certainly an inspiration! Thanks for sharing your great talents. See you next time. God Bless. 🥰
You do nice work. I turned my garage into my woodworking shop some years ago to make furniture as a hobby. I just started building a pallet fence with two entry gates made with pallet wood. Now i have to decorate it and the pallet nursery i made a few years ago. You have a creative eye and process. Thank you for your ideas.
These are absolutely lovely 🥰 project #3 really looked like a cat sitting cut out - I would love to have it turned to show the cats ears at the top and some kind of a cat lovers saying for the sign 🪧 but I am a cat mom so I see cats everywhere haha 😂 much love from eastern Canada 🇨🇦
I actually didn’t see that shape until you all started messaging here and saying it it definitely does look like either a owl or a cat but I still love my T sign
You are amazing!!! Thabk you so so much. I just bought at least 30 pieces of folk art wood. The shapes and pieces are amazing and I was going to cut them to make rectangles and shapes like that. Some have ben enciled in with her artwork. A few half painted but 80 percent blank. I am so doing this to all of them thanks to you. I can't can't you enough 😀
Thanks for sharing your creative upcycling ideas. I’ve never been able to do the rubbing method without rubbing off some of the graphic… doing a rustic project can solve this for me.
I doubt there's anything you come across that you can'take beautiful. I love watching you create. I've just had neck surgery, so I'm a little out of commission right now. But when I get my stride back, I'm going wood hunting! I do love watching and learning from you. 💗
Awesome projects. You are very creative and talented. I really enjoy watching and learning from your videos. Thanks so much for sharing. My favorite was the first sign, it is a very unique piece.
Hi Deidre. I love your videos and think you’re so talented! I also think you’re very generous for sharing all of your info! I’m wondering if you could share some info on the type of printer you use; how much toner you use and where you find it to be the cheapest? Thank you!
I love them all. I am thinking the odd shaped one might have been a table leg. You found some amazing wood pieces.love the aqua color paint. Thanks for the inspiration.
Great ideas! My workshop is FULL of old barn board and scraps and now I have some idea of what to do with all this stuff,,,Thank you for sharing. I would be curious on how to go about pricing these signs. Maybe you already have a video?
I just discovered your channel. I love the way you teach and your work is so originally creative. I'm looking for it after retirement. Hobby/job to bring in some extra income. Your channel is giving me inspiration. I look forward to seeing more of your content
That is a Vintage Empire cut table piece. Have one in my wife's Antique Mall, most of that style cut that I can find are from the 19th century. Looks cool with your paint job and graphics.
If you are going to make a sign for outdoor use, you can use an epoxie clay in your silicone mold, or possibly make a weatherproof paper mache (it contains concrete).
You Clever Lady 🤗 I found your Channel quite by accident and watched what you did with those pieces of wood. I am in Awe of your talent and you make it look so easy. Anyway 1 new subscriber and I look forward to more artistic ventures. From Aotearoa, New Zealand 🇳🇿🖤🤍🖤
Thanks for sharing such great tips!! I'll send one your way - if you want to fill in old screw holes in a piece, fill the hole with sawdust then squirt some super glue in there and let it dry, sand repeat if needed. Hope this help!
Such beautiful pieces. I am so looking forward to seeing how they will come out. You come out with such interesting and precious projects and tips, that I feel like putting them into practice. The technique of ageing the wood is so interesting and apparently easy (everything you make seems easy) and the printing the wording technique is so cool! Can all this you made with wood be applicable on plywood as well? Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience and for such great tutorials!
That’s too bad I also asked all of my friends or look for roadside fines or you can even go to Home Depot and look in there scrap wood bin for Freewood
Hello from Maine!! I am just in LOVE with this reverse process!! I am going to my very first craft fair in Nov. And, I am busy making signs! My main question is about pricing! Everyone tells me that I am underpricing my stuff, I think its because I just want my stuff to sell!! What is a decent price for a regulal sign? As for the piece of wood you dont know what it is, my hubby says it looks like the bottom to an old sewing machine. it would be the underside of an old fashioned foot pedal machine! Thank you so much! Melinda
Yes I love the reverse process also so many possibilities. When placing an I am I always go to Etsy find a comparable product and then price from there every area it’s going to be different so it’s kind of hard to say what you should charge for something because what someone would charge in the city will be different than the country
WOW! never seen anything like your art works. Fabulous. Glad I came across your site. I know of a pile of wood that is for free. I'm. Going to go get it!
Mind blown!! Subbed and will be learning! I'm a person who already loves checking out 'wood discards' so perfect. That third one was screaming "cat lover" sign to me.
Lol the laugh is still in my craft room once the cold weather comes you’ll see that back in my videos I’m just in my shed now because the weather is nice
I have rellmin live with your video's on how to make distressed items! I loved to do crackle and now i want to try some of this out! So Thank You So MydhnFor Sharing With All of Us your Beautiful Talent. Just have a question. How do you get the words to to be evenly straight on the board?
I think because I have done so many signs I can I it really well and get it straight but sometimes I do mess up a little bit and I should take the time to just use a ruler and measure it out which if you’re just starting might be a good practice
Thank you for sharing. You ideas are so creative. I have a question. Do you have to use the napkin transfer on a white background? How about the cd paper? Tips? Thank you
It's refreshing to find this video. I build with pallets and reclaimed materials. you can go to my face book page and see some examples. Iwill be posting more. I recently built a table. It's there. And I have some videos of the cabin I built and am working on now. I had a few pallets that have been in the weather, but still healthy that as I've played around with it, I realized with the natural petina, they would be great sign material. So check it out. and thanks for the tips.

I noticed the cat cutout silhouette too, and I have the perfect caricature cat pen-and-ink that I illustrated, that could've gone in it!
You are amazing!!! Thabk you so so much. I just bought at least 30 pieces of folk art wood. The shapes and pieces are amazing and I was going to cut them to make rectangles and shapes like that. Thanks for sharing your creative upcycling ideas. I’ve never been able to do the rubbing method without rubbing off some of the graphic… doing a rustic project can solve this for me.
Yes with this method you always end up running off a little bit so it does create a very rustic sign
Now I’m going to have to figure out how to print in reverse. Thanks for the tip.
