The first one really got to me. The song, written by Calum Scott, is about coming out and how his mom immediately accepted him but it took awhile for his dad to come around. I am a very very proud lesbian and I am out to both my parents who are super loving and supportive. A couple years ago my mom and I, just us, which is rare, saw Calum Scott in concert. Before he sung this song he explained what it meant and told everyone that he might get emotional. Near the middle of the song he started crying. My mom wrapped in her arms, gave me the biggest, most loving hug ever and cried along with him. I, of course, joined in the crying fest as well. To this day that song always makes me emotional as I am constantly brought back to one of my favorite memories. By the end of hearing this cover, I was a bawling mess.

When you sing you show the true strength and hard courage of a mother. My mom dont cry easy if she could sing she would sing it as strong as you. Some might say its not the tune that is soft weak and vulnerable and expected of a mom that loves her children. Singing for your children doesn't involve tears no matter how sad the song, its happiness and an angels voice
