Under, over and through..... the magic writing pen from primary school writing educational videos of my youth haha. The one with the light. If you know, you know.
Just a quick question. The long tunnel (cheeky), have you ever thought about terrain manipulation, create some undulating ground, so you could have 2 or 3 small cheeky tunnels? I know you're used to flatting it in the cities.
Hey Colonel, Had you spotted that, on the way into Migginsula, I *think* there is a potentially junction-blocking signal? There's a signal just before the 4-way diamond thing, but there's another junction just behind it which I suspect could be blocked by a train waiting on the diamond.
@@colonelfailure Thanks Colonel - it would've been more helpful if I'd mentioned a timestamp - in this video the 2 green signals in close succession from 44:43 to 44:46 . I think there's some possibility the second one of those could junction-block.
Not sure your heart was in this one, but still fun in any case. (Did quite like the "Welsh" bit.) Someone needs to make a game combining TF2 with Snowpiercer... (And then could you play it for me, please?) Cheers
Actually, it was more a case of just how easy everything was being. Instead of the usual half dozen attempts to make something work, it was all falling into place first time.

You would be the man to ask colonel. The console addition is coming soon. With your experience of the game, how long a map lasts before it struggles. Also your experience of the effort DTG have made trying to bring PC experience to consoles. In opinion will a new gen xbox be able to handle this game?
It shouldn't have too much problem... in theory. Most map performance issues tend to come from people playing with WAY too much stuff going on. PC has the option of a megalomaniac map which is great for air travel and super-length trains and the like but is the kiss of death for performance. That's why this series is built on a medium sized map because I know I'm going to chew through performance over time. The only real downside to small maps is fewer choices when it comes to routes. Eventually every map will become unwieldy, no matter what the size, but starting off smaller will give you longer to play with it.
@@colonelfailure its the in theory that worries me but want to try. Not having a PC and being wanting to play this game since however long I have been following you.
I could see the other bridge down the river lowering at the same time nice shot starts at 39:37 in the background
Great entertainment as always, Colonel. Thank you.
I mean your welsh pronounciation for Citadel would also work for Raccoon city too ;) (mentioned around 32 mins)

I do enjoy watching these and letting me forget about the my real life problems. Thank you for making my life a bit better for a period 👍🏻
all videos with CF in them are brilliant videos. Well except for that wretched train roundabout town last series, that was suffering.
I've blotted the name of that town from my memory. "If-Only-Trains-Could-Freely-Change-Lanes-Like-C:S-ville."
I loved working on that roundabout. LOVED IT. I think I could tinker with that forever :)
Nice. As always you've got an interesting choice of routes

16:48 😂 I remember an episode of Workers and Resources and Soviet Transport Fever…
I cannot believe the new station was not called Raccoon Rapture!
You might consider making a tram route loop for Little China, Precinct 13, Dark star, and Village of the Damned.
Rapture: Just makes me think of Blondie.
You're welcome ;)
you do not want to connect to Little China, there is big trouble there!
Picks creek to rapture, makes gangbusters. I had nearly 700 people waiting for rapture to picks creek
junction at rupture, train into picks creek from little china over a big suspension bridge
also yuo could extend that service onto village of the damned
Did I hear your looking for a challenge?
Build a maintenance area inside and alongside a rail tunnel.
Migginsula Island? Come on Colonel, surely it's Migginsula Peninsula?
That was another good one. Thanks!
There's a Blackpool Tram in the Workshop

Hasn't been a factor so far, but I'll check. Everything from the diamond to the station *should* be signalless.

With all those slow curves and limited speed bridge, its not really a 'Flyer', its more of a 'Water Strider'.
So do you now have a new name for a town/place: Justine Chapple ? Now obviously that is 2000% spelled correctly! 😇🤪

Big tunnel to Little China
Well done. I should have seen that one myself.
The great Pontifex pontificates
Thanks!
That's very nice of you. Thanks!
Am I the only one to hear the tinder ding at 6:05 😂
Ooooh I think I know the one you mean. I'm not on Tinder, but I know my daughter pinged me via Instagram while I was recording :)
I love your videos. Very well done. How do you do to avoid the lag once the map starts to get full?
Two methods:
1 - use a smaller map
2 - use a really expensive PC
@@colonelfailure I have to do smaller maps then, Already have a beast of a gaming PC. Thank you
R A- how about Rasputin Station?
No one going to mention it's Toronto not Tonoto?

what does the pantagraph connect to on that split bridge?
Forget that, i'm the problem.
Cheeky capacitor would be my guess. Or, y'know, video game magic.
Doesn't really need to connect to anything
Hey Colonel, did you see that Transport Fever 2 is coming to Xbox next month?
Colonel are you going to go back to
Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic
Nope, I'm done on that rodeo.
I see you have a lot of bridge. What mod for bridges do you use?? Thanks
The full modlist is in part 2 of this series.
@@colonelfailure "metropolis #2"?
You need to go find some new depos.
Ra-Ra-Rasputin?
Can I ask what seed/map are you using?
It's a custom map. The save game is on the Steam workshop (link in part 2 of this series).
So this is the anti bridge episode?
