Great video. Thanks. Just come back from seeing them do the same if not better in Amsterdam. THE best live band at the moment and great sound. Susan Tedeschi vocals absolutely flawless in two hours uninterrupted. Sheer joy to be there. Derek is clearly astonishing but Susan's talent is often overlooked - fabulous vocalist and no bad guitarist either! A truly great Band. And they enjoy it!
Hmmm, If she was Bonnie Raitt I could enjoy but I don't know if I wanna hear 90 minutes of Susan's singing!? Susan is not a worthy musical partner as she holds back Derek's creativity!

How have I not seen all of these amazing TTB videos you shot. VERY IMPRESSIVE.... Thank you. I have seen them a number of times but always held my camera in my hand and never shot so much video like you did/do. EXCELLENT WORK.
Been addicted to this band for five years, still blown away. Saw them down here in Oz back in March, great to see the on-going variation in arrangement/extemporisation in the performances available on the web. (Expletive deleted)superb band!
@@danh367 - Too true! Their recent 'Layla Revisited' is on high rotation in this house. They are so relaxed but sound so tight! Never tire of 'em, never will.
Enjoyed my first Tedeschi Trucks show not too far from this angle...would love them to do The Ford Theater in this version of the band. Best sound I’ve ever heard was DTB at Ford Theater in ‘07. Such great acoustics at that venue.
Saw TTB with North MS Allstars in Memphis Orpheum Theatre last night, I was really excited to finally see TTB, I really love their stuff but as bad as I hate to say this, I was a little disappointed in the fact they did not play Anyhow, Midnight in Harlem, Angel From Montgomery / Sugaree...my personal three favorites ...maybe next time. They are one hell of a band to be sure.
Midnight in Harlem is a personal preferred song by TTB, and the High and Mighty. (For me.., but hey must so we choose?? I love re-viewing a show, but also a nice nice advantage to creating your own playlist.
Pat!! This was such a wonderful discovery!!! I can only hope & 🙏 that they will sometimes in my very near future redo this entire show just as seen here!! WOWZA!! FIRE!!! And the JG Get out my ..... is off the chart!!! That is my only request for the 2nd Warner Run 2022!!!!!!!!!!! Please pretty please!! I'm bringing the So.MD Stuffed Ham & no Ham Just stuffing vegetarian dip on the 17th!! So that is all I ask for in return!!.✌❤🙏🙏🎼🙏🍄🙏
Hi Sue! I really love this show. I wish I could have been there. You look"n good as can be. Trucks your playin style is improving. Hope the family is doin well. I be seeing you sometime . Say hi to the band , keep it real. Rauuuuuuw!
would love to see them live, but don't know if they have come to Canada. I know not on this current tour. Derek and Susan if you are reading this, PLEASE come to Vancouver.

gary laubscher Derek moves about the stage as the music does, sometimes though he's just moving out of the way so as not to upstage someone else as the music is more important to him as a whole then any one part.
gary laubscher Susan called me the other day and said Derek asked me to let you know there were no internal problems with his bassist or the rest of the band. Sheeeeeesh. Wgaf?
Actually I think he made a move to really make sure everything was band first and moves around to listen from a different vantage point. I think the bassist is a great player. If anyone was going to come in behind Oteil it's this guy. He is rock steady on the Bass. This band just can't be touched right now. They could do anything and make it better than most any other band right now. If they are anywhere near me in 2017 I will be there !
Sixties Guitar Vibe , yes the more I watch, you are correct . Derek is the best I have seen since Carlos Santana at doing this. The only reason I said anything was I never saw him do that on stage . I watch a lot of this band, the best I have heard in a long time, and I love this bass guy , the whole band, hope you get to get to see them.
I i mis read your reply. You mean down voted. Yeah I think it's pretty good. I don't know what people are expecting from a single camera Fan shot Video.

Curious, do they REALLY need 2 drummers doing the same part? My father was a drummer and he always did it all. I could see another percussionist, doing other parts, but 2 on a trap doing the same thing? Is it just for needed volume? I mean, they both have to be perfect. Just sayin
No dude.. It's kinda a tribute thing. His daddy is Butch Trucks of Allman Brothers fame! If it wasn't for the Allman bros he would never have learned guitar from Duane Allman and his dad might have been a coal worker! It's cool bro! 2 drummers sounds nice and FULL. It's not "necessary" It's tradition.
James, I love the second drummer. Even the great Bill Bruford from King Crimson welcomed a second drummer. As good as Bill was, adding that extra kit lit the place up.
humm the first didnt hit me at all..well sounds ok but surely is faraway from that wow factor and feeling, i really expected way more for a 12 member band, i was expecting something like (the old with peter) genisis or Alan Parsons..you know something deep, if someone think im wrong plz tell me at what minute to listen to, i just listened the first one
Genesis and Alan Parsons is the last thing that this band is. Not to put them down because I like those bands too. This is a combination of rock, soul and touches of jazz that is unique and genuine...which is very rare these days. If that is what you like then you will love them. if not, then they are just another band. For me, they are a breath of fresh air in today's commercialized music dungeon.

Thank you once again Mr. Myers. We have enjoyed many of your vids and here's another gem from a great show. The Orpheum is a joy.
Hands down the best live Band going right now.

Back in the 70's I saw Genesis with Phil Collins. TTB and Genesis are both terrific bands. There is no comparing the two.
If you didn't get it from the first minute you never will...
Only thing wrong with Tedeschi-Trucks band is Susan's annoying 2nd rate singing! She holds back Derek's creativity!
