Great video and I love your style of commentary, you really convey the excitement. I find I learn a lot from the explanation of your thought process as well. You were robbed of a P1 finish by some unsporting driving by the other guy but better to finish in P2 as a gent.
I’m not much of an online racer so I could be wrong, however, it seems like the defensive moves were a bit late/ aggressive. I would have been rather annoyed with the dangerous breaking/ blocking.
Kordal deserves a ban, he kept blocking you and not defending the line, no wonder he got punted early on, he probably did the same and will continue to do the same and crash many times... Good race
Thanks buddy - so it's interesting you say that. In cockpit and post race I wondered about that myself, but I ultimately felt that his defending got very close to over the line but not quite. It does look quite aggressive in single seaters and through high speed corners, and it isn't how I'd go racing for sure. Interesting you saw it that way though - definitely open to having my mind changed!
I too say that Kordal drove dirty by blocking you several times! I saw his moves as blocking because he changed his line several times directly after you, the following car, made a move. Ugly driving and not what I like to drive or see. Anyway, good job by you Ben and good racing! I'm looking forward to your next video.
@@Ben_LaBroca the iRacing code of conduct is very strict about this, the front car cannot drive reacting to the following car, if he had anticipated your moves by covering the inside line before you did I'd be ok with it (that's actual defending), but you got blocked at least three times, hence, he should get banned
Blimey, lap 2 was a bit lively wasn’t it! This video has really whetted my appetite to give this combo a try at the weekend. I’m jealous you managed to overtake someone too… two weeks in, and I’ve still not had the opportunity 😂
Haha aye after two laps I did half think a win could be on given the attrition rate, but a podium is a decent finish! Look forward to hearing how you get on with it this weekend!

Hey buddy - unfortunately not possible for me to do endurances at the moment with family commitments. I did do a 9 hour in ACC as a one off a little while ago, but it'll be a while before I can do anything like that again. It's a shame, as I'm sure the N24 is amazing!

Was the RedBull's defense in last lap legal? It appears to me that he was moving in reaction to block you - afaik this is not a legal move?
Hey Zheiko - so on reflection post editing the video I began to think not. It’s quite subtle in a way but I think he does move to block.

I agree! That was not defending that was blocking! He moved in reaction of your movement! Great driving on your behalf 👍🏼

@@Ben_LaBroca it gets better, I have two kids, 8 and 10 years old, but yes when they were babies and toddler stage they needed a lot of our time.
