Hey there! It's Denny from North Queensland, and today is the day I finally get to harvest some of the veggies and herbs we've been growing in the garden. As a beginner gardener, it's been a learning experience with a few surprises along the way. Some plants thrived, while others didn’t quite make it - but that's all part of the journey!
In this video, I’ll take you through the garden, show you what’s grown, and share some tips and challenges I faced. From towering basil plants to my first chili turning red, it’s been an exciting process. Plus, I’ll be harvesting some cucumbers that are pricklier than expected, and making a fresh batch of pesto with the herbs.

Thanks Lorna. 😘 Yeah, getting there with the yard. I tell you what. It has been so hot, we have been very sooky about going out in the boat as it doesnt have much in the way of shade,, but looking forward to fishing now it's getting a tad cooler. As long as the wind behaves. I can't see us getting a van anytime soon, due to working full time atm. Hoping to get out in the boat soon though. Need some adventure back in our lives. :D
