If you make a level that has any kind of trap to kill the player in order to give it difficulty, it's a bad level design. A good level design tests the players' skills with fair challenges that don't require previous knowledge of the level to complete.

because with mushroom u cant kill bowser and with shells it takes forever - just shouldnt have comeback for mushroom and try his luck without powerup
