I used the feed wax and hot water and Murphys on 4 RTi rifles. Wood came out so clean and nice on em. Wood was still pretty dark but nice and clean

I bought a b grade no.4 Mark 1 Enfield a b grade from RTI had 2 bullets wedged in the barrel and bolt was crap sent it back a month later they sent the replacement it would not even chamber a round. Even used a bore hone on it. Barely chambers a round and I have yet to fire it. So not buying from RTI again.

@@GarandGuy2553 make one of those electrolysis rigs
you need a stainless steel bit of TIg wire longer than youre bore ( barrel + chamber) a cheap 3 dollar AA battery pack off ebay, some rubber stoppers whose narrow end is close to the bore diameter, some that will plug the chamber, some amonia and some white vinegar
there is a video on YT how to make one i think all in mine was under 20 bucks to make.
thats how i cleaned the black out of my vetterli /15

One of the recent RTI emails showcased a "good" condition rifle (Berthier) with a huge wrist crack. Dice roll is spot on. (Still awaiting 1 I ordered in early Jan ... assured it would arrive last week 🤣 )

Damn….I wouldn’t expect much from them. It’s exactly a dice roll.

If you will have the opportunity to visit Italy let me know.
I am from Como lake area, and I'll guide you around the place.
There are a lot of military things here around from the first and second world war that are very interesting, not to mention the other historical stuff.

Dates on the Vetterli and Carcano are there. It’s missing on the M95.

Well, I wouldn't go so far as to say that any of them turned out pretty after the cleaning, but I've also seen worse come out of gun stores on *this* side of the Atlantic, ha ha.
At any rate, you at least have a couple of shooters there and that's fine too -- especially considering the price!

I’d say it’s acceptable for the prices I paid but agreed, I could’ve gotten some cosmetically better ones if I paid a little bit more. Probably wouldn’t do it again though.
