Eating Hong Kong 7-ELEVEN foods for 24 HOURS | Visiting the BIGGEST 7/11 in Hong Kong | TASTE TEST

  • I ate Hong Kong 7-ELEVEN foods for 24 hours at one of the biggest 7-ELEVENs, per square footage, in Hong Kong at Discovery Bay. Watch me as I try out all the most popular and best selling items they sold, 7-ELEVEN's famous egg salad sandwiches, their hot food counter called hotshot for their noodles and udon, frozen dinner like spaghetti bolognese, limited edition matcha ice cream, 7/11's own Daily cafe called 7Cafe for their iced mocha and more! Of course we couldn't leave without a SLURPEE as well.
I couldn't stay there for the whole time so we bought a whole slew of stuff like fake shark fin soup, instant noodles with packaged meat, cooked chicken breast in a bag to take back home to try for dinner.
See how this compares with the food you have at your local 7-ELEVEN! If you're from Hong Kong, let us know if we missed something yummy that is a must-eat at 7-ELEVEN, and let me know what we should try at your country's 7-ELEVEN =)
Did you know that there are over 900 7-ELEVENs in the Hong Kong & Macau region?
The biggest Hong Kong 7-ELEVEN per square footage is at the Hong Kong International Airport as stated to me by the customer service rep from the 7-ELEVEN hotline. I was recommended to go visit a close second/third, which is the one at Discovery Bay. The other big 7-ELEVEN is on Austin Road, but she said there were more facilities and the Discovery Bay is much newer; therefore, we took a 1.5 hour trip over to Discovery Bay.
    7-ELEVEN at Discovery Bay:
Shop G67, Basement C, Discovery Bay Plaza, Discovery Bay.

Hi Virgina!, I would like to see what some of your favorite happy hour places are like. Like where is a great place to have a beer while enjoying some appetizers with friends. Also, maybe having a beer taste test of different types of asian beers that are popular in Hong Kong.,and the weird food that you can eat while drinking beer.! Oh, and maybe some interesting info about the gambling culture in Hong Kong, like horse racing, or betting on mah jong, or anything along that line. That would be cool!!😎

I second the mah jong. Also, I won't to see more of your favourite food in HK. I'm watching from HK and want the good recommendations!

Awesome video, your topics are so interesting and entertaining. I LOVE convenience stores in Asia, they are safer than the ones here in the USA. They also have better varieties of products than us. Waiting for the day I can travel to HK again, it has been 2 years and 3 months since my last visit... I miss my annual visit to HK Disneyland.

I used to drink a lot of slurpees in my day too, but now it’s mostly Vanilla Coke. Dat spicy Korean chicken cheese roll tho. Looks like something I would try. The gas station convenience store equivalent I go to for food more often than I actually go to for gas over here is Wawa(although a Buc-ee’s just opened in central Florida recently and they are known for their mega-convenience stores with hot food). People give me crap for getting gas station food, but I like Wawa’s quesadillas. I’m missing all the regional items you’ve showed, like the chocolate mint vitasoy or the curry dishes. Good editing on the video too!

😂 When you were eating the chicken leg you reminded me of 梁朝偉 in 絕代雙驕. I remember he used to "really eat" in those TVB series (vs other actors who just barely touch the food while filming).

Well, not surprised that it is the biggest 711 since it is in discovery bay. They have a lot of wealthy people and foreigners living there. They (711) gotta make their store more unique comparing the regular 711s in the cities.

You need to add this 7/11 store to your tour of Hong Kong. Not historical Hong Kong of course but North Americans will get a kick out of seeing a 7/11 that actually sells edible food.

Hi I miss Hong Kong and think of it often. I used to live in Hong Kong before the uprising just a few months ago. How is life in Hong Kong so far this year? How strong is the Beijing Government control now compared to the freedom Hong Kong enjoyed up until 2019?
