    You forgot to include condition as a piece of information you need. You are assuming every card is NM, and pricing as such. If new people are actually using this information, there are going to be a lot of skewed prices people are self evaluating at

    • @TwicebakedJake
      @TwicebakedJake  2 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Condition needs a video on its own. This is for a quick price check

    • @alexandersveryown4760

      @@TwicebakedJake condition should still be included for a "quick price check".

      @channelbreak6929 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TwicebakedJake you can quick price on TCGPlayer and generally the price shown is reflecting LP (light played) condition, or worse. NM is always the highest price

      Condition is the most important information you need to price check! Example:You get a base set charizard nm-m 9-10 grade you got about 3,000- 10,000 if you grade it,if you have a 1-2 possible grading it ain't worth but 10 bucks. Definitely should have been the big focal point on looking up any pokemon card

    Great video man, found your channel recently and have been enjoying the content. I mainly use eBay's sold listings for value just because it gives the premium. Another thing I'd mention in another video is rare variants of cards since some cards are misprints, no series, etc and people need to be sure of what they're selling before they value it.

    Not even a word about condition? Damn it Jake! This is why people keep listing Base Set Charizards that seemed to have gone into a washing machine for $1000 lol

      @@TwicebakedJake I get what you mean but I assure you most new-comers don't even watch one video before listing, let alone two. Even just a 10 second mention would have gone a long way if you ask me.

    5 dollar for a 1st edition pikachu neo genesis MINT? It s a shame. I would buy 10 million of it and shift the price to 40 each.

      eBay sold listings are your friend too since usually eBay always pulls a premium.
      So for example I'd go to advanced search, check sold listings, then type in Radiant Eevee PSA 10 or PSA 9 and it will bring up all the ones that have sold with those gradings.

    i don't like tcg for collection wise if it makes any sense. alot of those listings say nm but it can be a gamble.(with out a picture) i ordered some and they were definitely played.
    so when i sell my cards on ebay and get messages like "oh on tcg they are selling it for this much" .... blah blah .... then why not buy from tcg seller lol.
    especially troll and toad never buy from them

    • @DeimosPC
      @DeimosPC 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      TCGPlayer annoys the shit out of me honestly. The amount of people that tag the card as NM but are selling something well-played or damaged is insane. Even the ones WITH pictures, they look great at the front but then they take the photos of the back at weird angles to hide white edging.

    Is it worth grading a $10 card?

    • @SegaDisneyUniverse
      @SegaDisneyUniverse 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I mean, it's up to you to determine whether or not the particular card is worth grading. I've personally never graded a card, but if I knew that it had potential to get a 9 or above then I'd definitely get it graded. And I would rather grade a card that is worth $50 or more.
