I didn’t start competing until I was 34. People keep saying to me your 40’s are your strongest years. People still compete at the world level into their 50’s. No excuses - just get stuck in if you’re interested.

I love that on a bar that is designed to be raised and lowered the first two options for removing a stuck back were throwing a keg at it and shimmying up the pole! 🤣

Good video, ive said it b4 but its worth repeating... I picked up 2 bags of sand 44kg in total, held them against my chest locking my hand around my wrist and walked a short distance to my van.... oooooft couldnt breathe it was tough. It made me think how you strongmen must feel playing with weights way above that for much bigger distances and times. These physique folk/bodybuilders really do go through alot just to get in that shape. Its crazy to thing that they look the best they ever have at the same time as feeling the worst they ever have lol.

I just had to laugh so hard at how ridiculous it looked when after all of that Tom just casually picked up the Atlas stone and just chucked it onto the table! You guys are just mind blowing!
context is the key, you guys are so massive that these big weights look smaller compared to you, but when you see them next to him , wow, they are huge. Luke's bicep is as big as Zac's waist

I think one of the most interesting things is seeing these implements put next to a normal sized human. Like you watch WSM and they do the circus dumbbell lifts but everyone is 350lb plus and usually over 6ft 3 or more, so you just assume "oh those dumbbells are just like a little bigger than normal" then you see it compared to this guy. Shits mind-blowing.

You two brothers are true inspiration for me. I have been away from the gym about 1 year because what happends around the world. But yesterday i did a pb at squat i did 2 reps at 200kg i pb of 15kg. I have a goal to do about 220-230 at squat and 200at deadlift and about 100-110kg at standing press to Christmas. So alot of sleep and better food. Stay spicy stoltman brothers and to all THE fans to this guys :)

Agreed about Tom's grip. Don't know if the brothers or their wives read these comments, but Tom can really strengthen his hands by a LOT by soundly fastening a small, wooden or metal ledge on the wall high enough to where he can hang from the ledge with feet off the ground and he can only use the strength of his fingers and fingertips to hold himself up, hanging from the ledge. As a different but similar tool, if they fasten a short length of chain-link fence high up a wall where they can hang from gripping the chain-links in any way they can, and suspend themselves for as long as they can, trying to increase the duration of their hang time as they improve, and try moving around the chain-links reaching around and grasping the fence in different places. These tools/tips are different than hanging from a monkey bar. With a monkey bar, you can hook and roll your fingers over the top and use your thumbs to help lock. With the ledge, your thumbs are pretty much useless and your fingertips lie flat on the top surface....much harder. And with the chain links, you have to squeeze your fingers around the chain-links and pull them together with your hands to support your weight. Just some suggestions for Tom!

If these boys ramp up their training on medley's (strength and endurance brutal conditioning) they will be unbeatable, their progressing in all other areas iss evident, Luke improving on stones and Tom improving on his pressing technique 👏
Tommy boy your pressing technique 👌 is spot on ,you've come on leaps and bounds will be interesting to see the progress during the British, hopefully you will get a sub - 20 on the stones with no hic ups 😀
I was taken aback with Lukes performance on the stones in Glasgow you boys seem to just get better and better with each competition, I can't see anyone else coming close to you guys ether, it's going to be a close one between you brothers.

I also give Tom a ton of credit on his improvement in his Hercules hold too! At 2020 WSM he came in last with like a 23 second hold. His last Hercules hold just a little while back, he came in last place again, but with a 45 second long hold! His improvement is DOUBLED what he was doing last year! I'm proud of him for such a HUGE improvement. By next year, if he keeps on practicing and improving, he'll be doing over 60 second Hercules holds. Maybe even giving Mark Felix, Caron, and Singleton a run for their money!
I can't give Tom enough credit for his achievements, I'm confident he will dominante for atleast the next decade, Shaw is still doing the business at 39 , Luke is 36 I feel its his time,,he's always had the potential.winning Europe's strongest man has proved that,I think Lukes at the peak of his career atm.
I love how Zac represents the normal person in all of these exercises when he himself is a world class athlete haha. Just goes to show just how strong these fellas are.
