Thank you for the information. And would you recommend using quesmed in preclinical years? If not, what other question bank would be helpful? Thank you.
Hi, sorry I missed this earlier. I personally didn’t use quesmed in clinical years and I wouldn’t recommend it as I think the questions would be beyond that level and would be quite difficult when you are still learning the basic science. I think it’s best to start using in clinical years when you can apply that knowledge to what you see in hospital and you will have plenty of time for this in clinical years. I didn’t use any external question banks for pre-clinical years but I have heard that the passmed one is good for pre-clinical.
Hi i am in second yr of Medical and i have some doubts related to some topics for example Cellular adaptation Inflammation and repair Under cellular adaptation :Under this Mechanism of hypertrophy , hyperplasia, metaplasia and atrophy So i was wondering if there is a website where I can get lectures or at least some easy to go through detailed nts
Thanks for watching. I haven't personally used Amboss as part of my studies. What I will say is that there is SO much to gain from these free websites that I really don't think there is the need to buy an Amboss membership. Everything on there you can most certainly learn for free elsewhere.
Quick q. Idk if uve been exposed to info ab specialty training at this stage but I was wondering what that is like cz obvs u get payed so ure studying as well as working e.g. obgyn specialty training is 7 years as far as ik?
Hi, you're not working and studying the way you study in medical school. Exams only happen at certain checkpoints e.g. to get into OBGYN training. You don't do exams for the entirety of the training (e.g. for the whole 7 years).
