    I love this content. I've learned so much from both of these guys. I've always been a big film guy but last 3 years I created a grading system where analytics gives my initial grade and then I scale that grade based upon film. I'd say I have done an amazing job last 3 years with my WR grades and every bit of that comes from things I have learned from Brett, Scott, and the entire FP crew (past & present.)
    As for QB, I think neither film nor analytics tell us if a QB will be successful. The most important aspect of QB takes place between the ears and there's no quantifiable way to measure whether or not a QB has what it takes to succeed. The organization a QB is drafted to honestly seems to be the highest indicator of success from a historical standpoint. However this can also be wrong as the Steelers just failed with their Kenny Pickett experiment.

    While I agree with certain points of this video, please some respect on Pat Mahomes name. Yes he does the wow plays and the off-script stuff, but he is a pocket passer first and foremost. One of the greatest passers from the pocket in NFL history. That is the most underrated aspect of his game. He's like Manning and Brady in that regard. He's at least 3rd all time in QB rankings if not 2nd and is rising higher in said rankings. He won the last 2 super bowls w/o a number one WR, something Brees nor Manning ever did.

      Mahomes is a certified legend already, we agree! Thanks for watching!

    As a Commanders fan, I have been worried they would trade up for Caleb, and this video confirms my concerns.

    I agree 100% on Williams, he will be somewhere between Z Wilson(particularly if things breakdown in his rook year) and S Young(assuming he grows as a processor) in the NFL. I did not agree with the Bears decision to trade Fields at all, and I feel he's grown a ton as a passer since college, but especially since both prefer to create rather than play in structure, my feeling was trade down like last year and see if Fields continues to grow. It's always a breath of fresh air when people stop the excuse making(I thought his WR corp was underrated) and evaluate him as is.

      Heavily disagree that Fields has grown massively as a passer. He just got DJ Moore who is elite. He still can't read defenses and refuses to even fix the most basic of things like his dropback taking a year

    • @tricker37
      @tricker37 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@JJFN Agree to disagree, DJ Moore had a career year with Fields at QB, as did Cole Kmet and if you want to discuss subjective things like dropback, I can just as easily point out how he began looking off the safeties with regularity as the season winded down, among other things. Statistically he improved in virtually every way as a passer unless you want to bring up trivial stats like any/a or qbr

      @@tricker37 DJ Moore had his breakout year imo. Also his other QBs weren't even close to starting quality lol. DJM has never had a good QB. Seen plenty of Bears fans saying Fields still either throws to his first read or scrambles which is terrible and shows a lack of processing and the tape backs that up.

      @@JJFN anyone saying that stuff frankly just isn't watching his recent tape.

    The pressure to sack rate, TTT stuff raised my eye brow, and your analysis here has me even more concerned. His play style seems very egoic listening to you all, like he wants to impress more than be the best quarterback he can be, which requires discipline. Maybe that can change. The attention to detail you guys have is awesome, and I think thats were the truth reveals itself. Great work!

    I know year to year QB classes are different, but I thought Richardson was your QB 1 last year due to his ceiling like Caleb has. Is JJ your QB 1 due to his floor but could have a high ceiling? Where would Richardson rank in this class?

      “I loved Richardson last year because he was way ahead of the other QBs in the mental aspect of the game. Great getting through progressions, threw with anticipation, and excellent pocket management with a legit desire to run the offense as designed. That combined with some high ceiling traits like mobility and arm strength made him my QB1.” -BW

    He has Keenan Allen, Caleb is going to win ROTY and break all of Herberts QB records.

      @@FantasyPoints from the outside looking in (I'm not a bears fan), Bears fans are being handed a gift. They've had terrible QBs for so long that they have a toxic relationship with them. When a good thing comes around they can't see it. Instead they want the terrible QB that they're used to 😂 glad the bears are in the NFC this year. I'm going to load up in Fantasy football with Bears players next season
