Damn, bruh! That thing looks majestic. I have zero regrets for getting the STAS version; trying to coax Sig into letting me purchase those Cocobolo's separate, because it looks amazing. I had wanted a DW Razorback years ago, and the grips were very similar. I was waiting for your range review, and it did not disappoint. Haven't shot mine yet...may have to invest in some 10-round mags so I can take it to the range (since 20's may be on the outlawed list before too long where I'm at). Thank you tons for the review, sir!
@@christhompson2834 Absolutely! I actually received a response email from Sig today, the sales rep stated that as yet, there has been no decision either way on the individual purchase option for the new X5 grips. I'm going to keep an eye/ear out. Again, I love the black grips without fail; but the wooden ones....gotta have 'em--not trying to purchase a whole gun again, lol!
@@flinch9748 I'm as optimistic as you are--so long as 'they' provide enough. Would you know about any aftermarket 10rd. mags for this? I'm not assuming that the older model equipment fits this new one.
I owen a P226 X five ($2200) and the slide is so lose that it rattles like a maraca, have video clip to prove it, send it in for warranty and they return it with a note that states is to Sig Suaer standards, Really Sig needs heelp with QC.
Damn that’s such a cool Sig. I’d love to see how it compares to a beretta 92x performance. Do you prefer the wood grips or the hogue and is there any significant difference in feel?
I owen an American one and the only thing I dont like about the pistol is the slide to frame fit its kind of loose for a $2.200 pistol, everything else is just find, nothing to write home about. Trigger is fairly good not great it could be better, hav a clip of me shaking the pistol and you can even hear the pistol making noice like a maraca, it is a shame as the pistol could be a real nice pc of shooting equipment. BTW am a competetive shooter USPSA.
Looking how you hold the pistol with the closeup of your hands……not sure if you know how to properly hold your pistol when shooting with your support hand. Thanks for the video.
@@GoldenWebb Oh ok. I read the P226 is CA compliant I but I hope this is better. Are there better options for a newbie like me in terms of recoil and reliability? Hopefully under $800? Anything other than a Glock 19? I love shooting my dad’s Colt 1911 .45 ACP because I was accurate with it but sucked with the Beretta PX4 Storm. Any 9mm pistol suggestions that feels as good or better (hopefully less heavier) than the 1911 but easy with recoil?
@@GoldenWebb This is the first 9mm I've ever owned--all my other handguns are larger calibers; my "weakest" caliber before this was/is in .10mm Auto, lol! Had a difficult time settling on something: Sig P320 AXG's of all types, Legion, Canik, etc. Not Glock guy. Was gonna get the P320 Carry and build it up--and literally the next day this model got brought to market. All the upgrades I was going to add came standard. For me, an easy and expensive decision.
Thanks for the shout out! We hope you enjoy your new Sig! What a beautiful looking handgun!
Thank you brother! I sure do and I appreciate it brother!
I just bought a Sig P226 SAO Legion about3 months ago. It’s my EDC. Absolutely love it. That’s a beautiful pistol you got there
Thank you my friend!
The crazy thing about people complaining about the price of this gun is when the German X-5 came out in 2013, the MSRP was $2,495.
Exactly. I was thinking the same thing
I’ve been waiting for this review great job!
Thank you brother! It’s hard not to love a gun as beautiful as this one
Got a German made X6 Scandic 226 6 inch barrel ......super accurate handgun.
Nice my friend!

What did sig end up saying back to you?
Amigo, podrias hacer un video de la comparación de la sig sauer p226x five y la p320x five……
I don’t have a P320 X five currently. But I’d pick the P226 X Five over it! Thank you for viewing my friend!

So the recoil is is as bad as the PX4 Storm Beretta?
No it’s not

All of these new ones are yes. Hopefully they will be making an all around model

Maybe your wife will buy you the Stacato for Christmas.😆👍
Hahaha I highly doubt that will happen, but it’s wishful thinking! 😂😂😂
