Big thanks to Evoto for sponsoring today's video and for offering my audience some free credits to try this out! Visit bit.ly/EvotoMiguel and follow along as I use Evoto to edit some of my recent portraits. Enjoy!
Totally agree! They actually added features that are useful and work pretty well. The hair cleanup tool is also insane. Check it out if you haven't tried it already!
Excellent review Miguel. Yep, I am finding it as crazy as you. I was not aware of the wrinkle removal, thank you for showing that. In my previous trials, I found the background cleanup feature worth it alone.
... great video, Miguel, thx for the tip! 👍🏻 for about $83 I can export 1,200 edited photos? that sounds fair! Is there a time limit after the credits expire?
Thank you! Yes, $83 gets yoy 1,200 exported images. I'll have to check and see if/when they expire but I've been using the same credits for the entire year so far.
@@MiguelQuilesJr… thx for your answer! ... 👍🏻 … another question: What about reading RAW? Is there a converter that receives regular updates, like LR or PS? Do you already have experience of how long it takes for new cameras to be supported (A7CR for example). Can the RAW of all the current Sony models be edited? 🤔
I just deleted a comment.. Just want to clarity one thing.. Does a credit include a compete portrait edit or is it a credit for each Ai tool used on a portrait? This will clarify my thoughts about the software.. Thanks in advance
The credit is used when you export the photo at the very end and includes all of the adjustments and tools you applied during the process. I talk about it at the very end of the video.
How many images do you usually deliver from a shoot? I can tell you that if I was to send those 1200 images to a retoucher, they would charge me far more than 7 cents per image to get those kinds of results.
Depends. If you shoot portraits or headshots its a lot of photos. If wedding... Then just add 200 usd over your price) I live in central asia and take 50 usd for half an hour for simple photoshoot (headshot) just octa clamshell, reflector below, ad200 and max 3 photos. So 21 cent from 50 usd for half an hour) good tip. Just light the background (usually white wall) with speedlight (use white card to control) and later in evoto change background with one click!)
@@Garbid upping my price would make my clients go elsewhere, im full time and my rates are as good as it gets ( for my area and the heavily saturated market) its a struggle even now to secure contracts, the majority wedding couples don't care for good photography and would rather just have their cousin take photos for £100 i see your reasoning but its to much of a risk for me
@@MiguelQuilesJrOuu you got back to me!!! You’re right! I am also stuck on retouch4me plugins as it’s a one time buy. I may use them both simultaneously. Does evoto handle 16 bit raw files since they export tiff 16bit? Are you still using evoto?
Ai is not high end yet. Results not comparable. FS 2.0 not comparable. Misleading video. Market dependent but not the highest end. In a few years it will definitely be a different story.
You haven't tried Evoto yet, have you? For sure it'll only get better in the future, but I can confidently say after nearly a year of use that it's possible to get high end results in less time than it would take to do FS 2.0 by hand. At the end of the day, not every image needs that level of time and investment in post processing, and thats when a program like this really shines.
@@MiguelQuilesJr I agree with you on that. Actually yes we reviewed several ai in the high end group including evoto. Definitely does speed up workflow. Does better than before.I should have clarified with fs2.0 I meant to say that both fs 2.0 and the ai aren’t comparable to high end.
@@MiguelQuilesJr to show favor to ai for example. The ability to create high quality skin texture is finally there to patch inconsistency that needs to be fixed. Clothes can be fixed(once again size dependent) so yes I look forward to ai. To say it’s comparable though? Not yet. Still needs to be in the oven a while longer.

You changed the title :)))) i saw that....
Same difference 🤷
The de-wrinkle is next level, so much time saved. Great video mate!

I added this to my workflow recently saving me so much time. Definitely worth the investment if you do a lot of portrait and headshots.
Couldn't agree more!
@@MiguelQuilesJr I have shot edit and delivered images the same day to clients which is amazing.
Fantastic software and always improving. Great video, Miguel!
Thank you!
This ai blew my mind thanks for the video as always my friend.
Awesome right!? It's been my secret weapon all year. Glad you liked it. Happy holidays and Merry Christmas!
Impressive. This Ai stuff is progressing so rapidly...save loads of time.
It's crazy! I'm happy to see tools that actually save me time from the things I actually do with my photos. Imagine how it'll be a year from now 👀
Already using) Awesome programme!
Amazing video! I didn't know about this. It's a must have
Happy to put it on your radar!
I am glad I took some essential retouching courses. Especially you see hair out of place and you need to fix it.

Agreed! These new tools added even more value. 😁
“The bane of my existence “…I have used those words so many times in regard to hair. I’m relieved to hear someone else say it out loud!
Glad I'm not the only one who feels that way!! 😂
Does the high-end portrait preset comes with the software?
Sure does!
how is that first image is 35mm f1?!
Believe it or not, that's what 300mm at f/2.8 looks like! 😂📸

Good question. I imagine there is going to be some lag when it comes to newer cameras. I'll see if I can find some answers on that.
What does it cost?
Check out the link in the description, they have some different options 👍

Just when export. You can apply to one photo anything you want. Credit is used only when you export the photo.
i knew it would be expensive but damn $84 for 1200 exports? are they smoking crack?

@ItsEzlan How much are you charging for a session and more importantly, how many images are you giving them for that rate?

$800 they get 150 Color & 150 BW final images.
The only thing I’d love is if it could be exported psd files
PSD is proprietary, so outside of Adobe products I don't think we'll ever see it unfortunately.
