I tried it and was very satisfied. Because it was my second paracord project, I found it slightly difficult and succeeded after 2 tries, and all I did was simply untie and start over. Thank you, keep up the good instructional work Ron
Great pattern! Like you said, keep a good hold on it at the beginning or it will fall apart, and DO NOT tighten your primary color or it will end up looking like a big mess! I had to redo this four separate times before I was able to get the grasp of it but once I did, it was easy peasy and came out looking really good! I think it's easier to start on the same side as you, if this pattern is a first for someone, just because it's a lot easier to follow the instructions. I ended mine with the cobra stitch but used a fid to run my two strands up the back for most of the length of the bracelet, which made the bracelet feel more durable without affecting the overall look of the pattern. Thanks for the great video!! :)
Thanks for all you do Shawn/Shaun, your videos have helped me to expand my bracelet making to a new level. I'm just getting into it but already have turned out some nice projects. Thanks again.
Nice bracelet. I have watch quite a few of your videos and the way you explain each step is outstanding. I have watch a few other paracord videos, but yours by far is the best. Keep up the great work
Shawn/Shaun, It would be helpful if you would give the paracord lengths per your length of bracelet and also the buckle attachment. I assume you melted the two cord ends together and used the cow hitch. This is a fairly simple bracelet where you just half hitch the black onto the yellow as you go back and forth down the center. Thanks for the vid.
I love it. My mom got me the stuff the first time and trying them all. My mom has dyed now and continued making them. She was my rock my soul. They sale like hot cakes
..that's a beautiful weave there.. and very creative if that's your own design.. I haven't seen anyone else do this kind..it's very illusive..the back side of this braid is cool too..I'm trying this without the clasps though.. it could be tough..good video!..thanks!
Hey Larry, are you the person who first said I had the world's dullest scissors? LOL. Thank you for the kind words. Send me a picture when it's all done.
ok, Measure width around your wrist, this is distance between the two clasps,, leave a good length tail for the wrapping. These 2 colors are attached in the middle & cinched around 1 buckle. The is confusing but it gets better looking as you go. The key to it is really holding everything in place from row to row.
Well done! Quite impressed with your talents. I certainly will be keeping my eye out for your well made video. I myself make a lot of bracelet that I learned from others and again, I'm quite impressed. Keep it up.
I am wanting to make a bracelet that has a horse shoe pattern, I have seen a heart pattern so i thought a horse shoe pattern might work too. would you know how to create a horse shoe pattern?
Wow- you explain things very well making it so easy to learn. Keep the vids coming as I have just subscribed to your channel. Thanks for a job well done,
got my premium paracord kit today by the friendly swede from ebay, made a wide dragons tounge earlier and made a custom weave of my own, aint seen it been done yet, will upload it on my channel soon for any comments, hoping i get to name it, its easy to make compared to dragons wide tounge
I haven't tried this but just as a thought; would it be possible to use a soldering iron to burn the tips of the cord instead of wasting gas and lighters ?? By the way.... Nice work on those bracelets>> Awesome designs !!
great vids, only tried a coupl,e, but you make em easy to follow, why don't you have a jig with a female part of another buckle fixed to something so you got 2 hands free?
Hey I like your video, but I do have a suggestion to make your channel improve. If you would explain a little more on the measurements of the cord and if you would say if you sieged the cords together that would be great! I love all your cool designs!!
I really wish you would create a book or two of all your video's. You are the one that I go to all the time as your instructions are clear and concise. Plus some of your instructions are new. I love the fact that they all have buckles. Tyingitalltogether does not show buckles and drives me crazy LOL. I am in the process of making small glow in the dark bracelets to hand out at holloween instead of candy for the little ones. Parents cant eat that ROLF. But PLEASE consider a book or two, I will buy without reservation,
I am making a 7-7.5" bracelet. Usually, this takes about 4 feet of each color for a normal soloman's weave. However, with this bracelet, I am running out of black faster, as the back of the bracelet has a Lot of black criss crossing over. So, I would say 4 feet yellow (or orange in my case), and 5 or 6 feet of black is needed to make this size bracelet. Do you agree?
I always go more than I need. I do not have a specific formula for this. I have a set of paracrods specifically for "testing". This is what I use to figure out how much paracord to use. Hope that helps.
Dude you need to realize there's people out there who don't know how to go as fast as you or know the length of paracord they need for this weave, we don't all have the same wrist size as you.
Tarantula Fingers that’s why you measure your own wrist dumbo jeez replay the part that your confused on it’s not that hard maybe it’s just you who’s slow.
Hey Shawn! I'm the one that has been emailing you about the paracord bracelets. (Shrubber) j was wondering how much of each color you used in this one?
Seriously thanks for the vid but at 2:30ish IM GETTING CONFUSED ON HOW YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO "THE BLACK IS GONNA GO BEHIND AND OVER TOP OF THE YELLOW" Thanks for the vid,but duuuude cmon were not all paracord masters like you
TheJoey550 Maybe I can help. The black cord is already under or behind the yellow. Just bring the black cord up and loop it over the yellow and feed it into the space where the black went under the yellow. It's just a loop. Pull the yellow cord back to the other side on top of the two vertical cords. Bring the black cord to the other side under the two vertical cords. This will bring the black cord under the yellow. Now lift it up and make the same loop over the yellow and into the space. Watch the video again and you will see it done.Hope that helps.
Unfortunately, no. But normally, 1.5 inches = a woven foot. If I were you, I would use 2 inches per foot of woven cord. So, for example, if i have a 6 inch wrist, and i want a 6.5 inch circumference bracelet, i would use 12 feet of paracord.
I love every paracord tutorial that you create so much, but honestly, the light is too shinny plus the background is white, kinda hurt my eyes, maybe using background color that little bit darker
I tried it and was very satisfied. Because it was my second paracord project, I found it slightly difficult and succeeded after 2 tries, and all I did was simply untie and start over. Thank you, keep up the good instructional work Ron

Each pattern gets better and better. Thanks for your help making my imagination sparkle. Great work! It is definitely appreciated.

Shawn...I LOVE this one!! Outstanding pattern that should work well for my Veterans bracelets. Can't wait to try it!!
I learned this from a Make and Take event at a craft shop near where I live. I am in my 5th year at the Make and Take events, and I just love to go!
It would really be helpful if you explained how you connected the buckles or keyrings before you start.
Absolutely loved the Slithering Snake!
When making the slithering snake bracelet, how long were the cords you used and how long was the finished bracelet?
Shawn/Shaun, It would be helpful if you would give the paracord lengths per your length of bracelet and also the buckle attachment. I love the back of the bracelet pattern would like to do one like that
I absolutely love your paracord videos! They are so thoroughly explained. Well worth watching for sure! And the bracelets come out amazing! Thanks (:
Awww you're too kind :)

I like the way you record the weaving!!!! I liked this video!!
Sorry if i missed this but how long where your paracord lengths?
Oooo, I really like the back of this bracelet too at 16:41 !
how much cord is needed to make a 7 inch bracelet?
How much chord did you use?
Glad you had those sharp scissors! LOL. My wife liked this one, so I guess I need to make her one. Nice work.
Hey Larry, are you the person who first said I had the world's dullest scissors? LOL. Thank you for the kind words. Send me a picture when it's all done.
Not the "world's" dullest...just on TH-cam! I've got to pick up some more cordage tomorrow, but I'll be sure to send you a pic.
Go to my site for your cord. Free shipping.

Thought i would add, this gets pretty thick on back side so i had to add 1/4 " to my original length for around my wrist/between clips.
Jewelry flush cutters work GREAT!
What is the total length of paracord for this bracelet for say a 6 or 7 inch bracelet? 6ft (3ft of each?).
It would be pretty cool if you could let tell us how much chord to use... Just saying....
i’m going to make browbands and nosebands for my horse with paracord!
Well done! Quite impressed with your talents. I certainly will be keeping my eye out for your well made video. I myself make a lot of bracelet that I learned from others and again, I'm quite impressed. Keep it up.
AWESOME KNOT! Will use for my friendship bracelets!!!
Good job bro.
I like this very simple, but beautiful and nice.
Would this and the other 'Snake in the grass' bracelet be easier to do on a jig so that the snake's head would not flop around? Just a thought.
Yeppers, that's what I did!
Got to try these. Fascinating beautiful well illustrated and explained. is there any way i can down load these videos on my mobile.
Awesome! I'm going to make one with LSU colors! Geaux Tigers!
Does this braid use the black and yellow paracords in equal lengths?
Hey the fused end in this video is all the way at the buckle right
How do you make the first tie
How long are the paracords?
I am wanting to make a bracelet that has a horse shoe pattern, I have seen a heart pattern so i thought a horse shoe pattern might work too. would you know how to create a horse shoe pattern?

Thank you. I just try to make videos people like to watch :)

Thank you, from windy Atlanta, GA
What do we do with scraps?

How much cord do you use for this bracelet?
Its always great to have some rope or cord with you at all times is that the survival part of the bracelet? ?
Yes, and you can do ALOT of survival techniques using paracord.
Thank you. Its really easy to follow.
What r u using to make this?
it would help if you started the video off without the buckles .. i know it says you have a video telling how to do that but I can't find it ..
to get the 2colortone, do you just melt the black and the yellow together?
Exactly correct
:D
nice videos btw! very helpful!
Ahoj moc hezké to je dělané a vše co tu vidím se mi moc líbí a začal jsem se to učít aj ja a daří se mi to super.
Great bracelet! How much paracord are you using?
I always go more than I need. I do not have a specific formula for this. I have a set of paracrods specifically for "testing". This is what I use to figure out how much paracord to use. Hope that helps.
did you fuse the 2 colors and if so where is the fuse at when you start. the video didn't show this.
hey how do you do the Dragons Tamper?
where do i buy those black thingy? Sir? :D
Any craft store or online
LUCKY DUCKY Thanks
Np :)
Dude you need to realize there's people out there who don't know how to go as fast as you or know the length of paracord they need for this weave, we don't all have the same wrist size as you.
+Sup3rBadAss Put it in slow motion by clicking the gear symbol, click on speed, and put it on .5
That doesnt answer the question of the amount issue.
James Cline experiment
Tarantula Fingers that’s why you measure your own wrist dumbo jeez replay the part that your confused on it’s not that hard maybe it’s just you who’s slow.
He says how many ft to use
base table must have a different color on a white background is not well seen
How much paracord do u use
You need to put how much you need or at least how much you use so we can base ours from that
Hey Shawn! I'm the one that has been emailing you about the paracord bracelets. (Shrubber) j was wondering how much of each color you used in this one?
Hi- how much paracord would I need for this awesome pattern on a 6" wrist? Also are the cords fused together for this? :)
+Helen B 4 feet of yellow 5 feet of black
Do you feel that paracord knot work is like manly macrame?
LOL ...VERY manly macrame, if you will.
i love the one u r wearing .....tell me u made a video with that one please ....i like it
Needs to invest in a jig. His hands are always in the way in his videos.

Simon Potter no lol I got it after the 13+ times
How much cord?
The bracelet is awesome, but isn't it kind of short?
I think he does it short for teaching purpose you can make it as long as you want
Correct. In most cases I do them short on purpose.
+Diana Pavlova .....Always remember the rule of thumb,,,,, for every inch of bracelet, use one foot of paracord.
Name of the tread?
so nice but isint it short
Ohh it's very comfortable
Can i order one ?!
that looks cool
What are the measurements?
Great video! I am looking forword to making it.:D
for some reason i suck at making bracelets with loose knots or no knots, sigh i wish i could make ones like these
how much paracord do i use? @BoredParacord +BoredParacord
Zangar_ did you ever find out. I need to know as well lol
Unfortunately, no. But normally, 1.5 inches = a woven foot. If I were you, I would use 2 inches per foot of woven cord. So, for example, if i have a 6 inch wrist, and i want a 6.5 inch circumference bracelet, i would use 12 feet of paracord.
Do you have a wedsit
Perhaps you should read the description.
im going to try and make this
Don't forget indicate parakord consumption!
I love it.
Thank you.
What were the measurements
I was eating frosted flakes when he said Tony the tiger

I love every paracord tutorial that you create so much, but honestly, the light is too shinny plus the background is white, kinda hurt my eyes, maybe using background color that little bit darker
+Luthfi Malik and perhaps you could add the length of paracord that you use every tutorial, for old videos, maybe you can edit the description
