If you have an in-tank fuel pump and if this fix doesn't help these problems, instead of replacing much more expensive parts, it is much cheaper and more effective to replace the fuel pump control module, which is bolted to the frame inside of the left rear wheel, and due to the design and exposure to water from the road, the bottom corrodes away and as it fails, you get low power and very hard starting. From Amazon, this module is only about $50 or $60, versus twice that at a dealership. A new design puts an air space under the module, so that moisture is not trapped. If you have wrenches or a socket set, it is easy to change after the left rear wheel is removed, unless you have a lift available to you and can get to it w/o removing the wheel

I found a wire that goes from my alternator to aplug-inn on the left wheel wheel.
That wire was indeed rubbing my air conditioner hose.
I got some electrical tape and zip ties and fixed that naked wire.
Honestly my 04 ford been sitting for like little over a year , was told computer box went so idk what to do

My Ford Expedition 05 just stalls after a few minutes_ wont re start, No response from starter, shows temp data error, charging error, ,, i would remove the batt terminals and have it rest for a few minutes then its starts again for another few minutes,, then stalls back,,, replaced temp sensor, charging is at 14.2V,,, cant understand what is the problem,,,,NO CHECK ENGINE lights

Didnt work. Mine had random stalling issues when driving down the road turned out it was a burned out integrated relay in the fusebox.
Did you replace the fuse panel or just the burned out fuse inside the panel ?
@Steve Barron I replaced the whole fusebox and it's been working fine since. Never stalled on me anymore.

I have a 2006 Ford expedition eddie bauer and I've been having an issue with it and I was wondering if you could help. It's not excepting gas like if I'm on the hwy and have to slow down and then try to pick up speed again it seems as if it's not getting any gas and it will make a noise, do a little jerking motion and may backfire. I have taken it to 10 or more mechanics and they can't figure it out. It is currently at a mechanic shop now I'm about out of money and need help ☹️

Maybe coil? But if it was a coil it should have thrown a code

Hello I'm having these exact problems with my Ford Expedition and Im from Houston and I've replaced the sensors I've changed oil and sparkplug even coils and it still hasn't completely solved the idle issue it has and spontaneously turning off at a lie idle stop

So i have a 2006 expedition 5.4l 3v. Gave me codes p0345 and p0349 also gave me p2198 plus p0171 and p0172. Replaced cam position sensors, o2 sensor, vct solenoids, and it still gives me them codes. Barely wants to turn on. I replaced fuel pump and fuel filter thinking it had to do with gas. Has no power and it tends to stall. It gets worse when the vehicle heats up a bit. It turns of when i stop on stop lights. Huge rattle noises at times. Man im going crazy with this truck. Ima try this. If it turns out to be this man ima feel really stupid hahaha. Bought a lot of stuff. Hopefully it works. Thanks.

No i havent. I basically left it alone and got myself a new car. I still got the expedition but im just trying to save a bit so i can work on it again or take to a mechanic.
@@HectorLopez-mt5bg same i have an 05 and it takes time to speed up during lower rpms/ 1st -2nd gear and it smells like gas and it lost alot of power

@@martinmercado2235 Yes, with my hood open I could hear a faint hissing. I just started moving hoses near the hissing sound and found a leak in the rubber hose attached to my pcv valve. The hose had a hole in it. AutoZone with a $2 fix. Not only did it fix my stalling problem, but I went from 12.4mpg to now 16.7mpg.

I had my 2005 expedition break it’s timing chain and rebuilt engine with timing chain assembly, got it new camshaft with phasers and heads fixed and it still ain’t fixed it’s in limp mode . Tune up has been done and solenoids replaced fresh oil change nothing.. mechanic is saying it must be electrical or the computer has anyone dealt with this or have any idea?
Same problem my mechanic said it's the engine wiring harness. Don't know yet when I replace it will reply back in a couple of weeks.

Probably your catalytic converter is bad. Check if it turns red after giving it gas for a while
