Like the way you explained the roles, I’ve been on interview that the JD is for a SM and at interview I come to find out that they looking for a SM that can also be a programmer which really confused me as too what exactly they looking for cause the last I checked a SM is a facilitator
HI Leonardo, I have 9 years o experience in IT mostly into Technical, but more than 5 years of experience working in Agile environment, i got my scrum certification and how hard is to get into scrum master job as a fresher and how can i change my resume to apply as scrum master
Given the time constraint that was a very short exercise to exemplify the difference between assessing soft and hard skills. This was the real goal of the exercise.
Just a question...may be out of context...still couldn't stop...as you told if a role of successful scrum master is to train the team to be independent and at some point of time they don't even need a scrum master....well then scrum master job will be out of market soon??
Not really, Anbu. The Scrum Master role goes way beyond the Scrum Team boundaries. As soon as your team gets more mature, you can work with more teams, start focusing on removing organisational impediments, improving adjacent processes, foster communities of practices, help other areas like HR etc. There is a bunch things that a Scrum Master can bring benefits outside of teams' boundaries.

Highly agile usually means they are using a tool like Jira or Rally and doing daily stand ups. Also means they sent someone to get their CSM.
Interesting open house

One of the objective to make yourself redundant for the activities which Team can manage themselves (After well trained by SM)
Is it important to be good in maths if one wants to become scrum master
Sorry, where did you see that? I only used maths as part of an analogy to explain the difference between hard and soft skills.
it is kinda because u need to count how many members u have and shit so maths is useful
