Hoping to be a part of using these babies as therapy with my granddaughter who works as a mental health counselor to young and old. I am very excited about this. A little hair on a bald baby. When done right, enhances thev realism. I wanted to learn. I have watched countless videos about mapping and rooting by well known doll artists but your teaching is beyond them all. Your presentation is easy to understand and apply. Thank you for teaching to everyone in a concise, inclusive, easy to learn manner. AC
What a coincidence! I looked up rooting help video and yours was first AND MY MATHILDA KIT JUST CAME IN MAIL ITS NEXT TO ME ON PORCH NOW!! I got really really nice to high middle a few choices and colors I'd used the cheap stuff for practice but realized even practice dolls I'm selling and bad mohair is rough looking. I am afraid to start with good stuff but I've got the hair flow swirl patterns solid in my mind now to be able to map according to certain baby and hair I'm using. Your Work is literally the best ever I so wish I'd known to look around n not trusted the first artist for only reborn I bought for myself. I was so upset over her knowing I was trusting her and taking 550 bucks for a maybe 300 doll ....bald real born barely painted now I know she used premises skin color paint and a lot lot lot of texture varnish layers I sold her for 300. Im afraid to sell till I have the perfect paint job hair root ECT like once my name is associated with mediocre work I'm out. But I have to sell to buy more to paint n learn. Idk. Any advice?

Agreed really excellent tutorial! And look up asmr ( my daughter is still into it or I'd have no clue what it is!) your asmr ing better by accident than anyone I've ever had my daughter show me!
Shes. Beautiful! Yes would love to see a video of how your varnish your babies, sometimes with the genesis it gets a little white/waxy. I think its bc I should thin it . Also make sure indeed that it cured in oven temp.

Thank you! I've never used a chalk pen, I've heard of others having issues with chalks pens not coming off as well. I hope you are able to get it worked out!
@@emilykateartdolls4143 thank you for your reply Emily!!! I actually had to rub quite a bit and that was after the rooting 😮!! I was as gentle as can be and I also used baby shampoo. I will never use that pen again. I will stick with regular chalk for sure !! 🥰🥰🥰
I'm glad you were able to get it worked out!! I hope to make a varnishing video soon. With Genesis discontinuing, I've had to experiment a lot with new varnish and haven't felt confident enough in one to make a video yet 😭

I also use prisma pencils for mapping, but I like the idea of chalk.

I use chalk! I've had issues with ink staining the vinyl.
