Sounds remind me of when I was younger, riding in GTW Gp9's around the S.E. Mich area.
About age 13, back in the late 60's, depending on who the engineer was, they would let me & my buddy ride in the GP9 engine (C&O) as they switched cars at our nearby glass factory. In retrospect I can't beleive they let us do that!
