It’s moderately difficult. There are two different trails for this hike. One is a 1.5 miles longer loop trail and another one is a shorter .5 miles hike. Shorter route is just.5-mile round trip. This has a few steep sections. To find the shortcut, you need to park at the Cannon Mountain RV Park, parking lot and cross the road to the other side.

Artist Bluff trail, is it too steep for kids to go the 1.5 mile trail? I heard 0.5 is steep but wonder if 1.5 is also very steep.
