Some weeks ago I subjected myself to an unofficial online personality questionnaire which assessed me as INTJ. I don't know how reliable that is, nor, indeed, what it really means.
However, I can confirm that after completing my University education (in the 1970s) I did not attend my graduation ceremony. I did not know what a graduation ceremony was (nobody had ever told me), and I was simply too terrified. I sent my apologies in advance together with a bogus excuse. They sent me my certificate through the mail. A perfect result, I thought!

I like how the INTJ became aware that the scenario isn’t real because there’s just no possibility out of the millions of alternate realities she has considered that she would have done a TikTok dance, let alone with an ESFP who she’s dating. *Therefore* she must be in a simulation.

Recognized ESTP/ INFJ immediately! 😆 I have a younger brother, a college friend, and a client who are ESTPs. As an INFJ, I actually really appreciate their non-clinginess and unhurt feelings when I admit that I don’t want to participate in 3 hours of physical activity. 😁 ESTPs are probably the type I feel most immediately comfortable with, because we somehow both “get” the other person & can be flexible with each other. Communication can certainly be a bit awkward and unpredictable, but usually it’s not very difficult to understand one’s “reflection” :)

Interesting! Though as an ENFJ, most ISTPs I am close to seem to listen to me with intrigued attention. ISTPs help me to vent out my Fe frustrations with people by saying the logical truth about people which may sometimes seem emotionally insensitive but logically true. So in a way I can be mean around Istps without feeling judged.
And personally, I never really bluntly ask people about their feelings. I just make them end up talking about them very indirectly. People just end up telling me freely, even the Istps. Sure it can feel suffocating which I hate and I could never schedule minute by minute- but growing up in with a very Si family you pick up habits and stuff. but I also know that in order for me to get stuff done and function I need some kind of routine. Also I can vary as much as I want better when I know how to do that- and by better I mean I would anyway, I can just ensure that I actually stick to commitments and also give my self that time to explore. So no schedule at all wouldn’t work. Like I have my a level time table. And then I have a lot of independent study which I can let my self explore in (like especially with English literature after every lit lesson I spend ages going through all my notes and expanding on everything I want to and I’ll write like questions down for myself in my notes that I then go back and explore in so much depth).

As an Intj I understand the overlap, but I think some of your older portrayals of the Intj were remarkably spot on where as I can't say I relate as much to a raving conspiracy theorist. INTJ with ESFP gf here. I find my ESFP is very receptive to more "light Ni" or positive Ni. The conspiracy stuff is usually darker Ni (maybe even ESFP's version of Ni while they are in Grip).
My Ni that I share with my gf is more spiritual laws, manifestation (law of attraction) and vibrational information lol. Which she is very receptive too, interestingly enough lol.
The dark conspiracy stuff is actually something I've noticed with ISFPs and sensors, with lower Ni. Intuitive can have those too, but usually not from what I've seen? But that could be quite wrong too actaully, since intuitive might have a higher chance of it.
Now that I think about it, I redact my statement as false, Intuitive are like that.

The best way to understand a type, I'm beginning to realize, is to study its opposite type. This illustrates that wonderfully. Very funny too. I don't think my wife is an ESFP, but we are certainly somewhat opposite in some ways. She's more outgoing than I am. She keeps track of relationship stuff, even other people's relationships, more than I do (I'm doing good to even remember the names of the people she talks about sometimes). She likes to be spontaneous while regularly try to get all of my work wrapped up when it is getting close to one of her days off, just in case she gets spontaneous and wants to do something that'll take all day or longer. When I try to act spontaneous, it is actually the result of days, sometimes weeks of planning. She's more positive and upbeat than I am too. Heck, maybe we are complete opposites. :)
I must admit that I've had my paranoid moments when I question almost everything at once. I usually keep it to myself, but the times when I've said anything about it, it must drive my wife nuts. :) Usually, it comes out when we are driving somewhere. She has a rather cavalier attitude towards cars, traffic and driving in general, while I can't help but sense that disaster is just a moment away. Driving (or even riding with someone else driving) is exhausting. I can only stand it for about four or five hours or less at a time without being perhaps more wiped out at the end of the day than if I'd walked to our destination instead.

I’m an ISFJ and I have an ENTP-friend from school. I feel like we’re always arguing. And it’s almost everytime grounded in myself feeling misunderstood.
When I’m expressing my thoughts they tend to just shrug it off, giving responses like: “So you’re wrong because….{factual statement given from their own experience}” or “I see you’re an Introvert but that doesn’t change the fact that what I’m telling you about 24/7 -even though you told me you don’t wanna hear about it- would be the best thing for you!!”
They think that I’m seeing everything too emotional, that I’m taking everything too deeply and that I’m ignoring everything factual/deciding to stay “stupid”. I don’t want to be offensive or hurt anyone but sometimes I just feel like they seriously don’t know the word “empathy”.😭😂
So this video was very accurate.😅

As an ENTP, I’m sorry your friend isn’t listening to you. Some ENTPs don’t develop their tertiary Fe properly, or they develop it as a means of manipulation. As I’m guessing you’re young (still at school) they might hopefully grow up to be better with time. Otherwise, if the relationship has gotten too toxic, don’t feel bad about throwing them off.
