This new season I will show the process on my 1969 VW Beetle. I have been working on this car for about 2 and half years now. I bought the car when I was 22 years old and it took me around everywhere for about 3 years then the engine starting to give me issues. I removed the engine for a rebuild and the transmission was sent out too. While the transmission was getting rebuilt I noticed the sheet metal on the car was bad so I bought a welder and practiced for about 6 months. I then felt comfortable enough to replace the both floor pans, luggage compartment and the passenger side heater Channel. This is why it took me so long to get the sheet metal replaced. Paint is next 🤘🏽.
The first few videos on this season will be the installation of the air suspension. I want to make sure this car is laying frame before I do anything else. I bought the air kit from limebug because they’re kit is out of this world. I will put the link for the air kit below. Please let me know If you have any questions in the comment.

so you did drop plates WITH airbags??
I have Atomwerks adjustable drop plates for the rear but you don't need them if you are using the Cantilever rear kit. Let me know if you have more questions, I would be happy to help you out.

Screws with hardness 8.8 in this application show, that this application is not understood.
what are you asking/talking about?. I haven't even done the wiring. I quickly hooked up the wires to test the management system. I will probably spend another 20 hours working on the whole harness and hiding all the cables.
@@oscar_dubs You're working on a chassis mount. Screws of strength class 8.8 are not permitted here. You would have to use bolts with a strength class of 10.9 or even better 12.9. This has nothing to do with the hoses, but simply with the wheel suspension. I hope I could help you to make your work reasonable. Have fun with the conversion.
@@doliwsef oh I get it now!. ya I was kind of worry about it too but the company that made the kit provided the screws. I changed a few of them but not all of them. thank you for your knowledge and advise.
@@oscar_dubs What a poor company. Who is responsible for the damage made by breaking the screws? 8.8 is forbidden in this application, but you are informed now and if you change the screws, you are on the safe side and will be able to enjoy your work for a long time.
