God Bless All the volunteers and workers. Wear good PPE cuz the water and soil are contaminated. Many are getting ill, headaches and nausea. Take care of you first. True American Grit. Thank You Lord! 👍🙏
These videos are nice. It's great for people far away to get a small taste of what it's like here. But........the videos and photos do not show the scale of the damage, and how remote some of our communities are. On day 3 I was going through Micaville on my dirt bike on my way to take cold insulin to my neighbors brother who lives near Higgins/Elk Shoal off of 19w west of Burnsville. On my way I saw 2 things that will always stand out. Shopping cart/wagon/buggy in a trees 33ft high. 33ft!!!! A pile of debris that was longer than a football field and as tall as a 3story house. It looked like a pile of Lincoln Logs with Matchbox cars and toy tractors/semi trucks stucking out of it.
@ how heartbreaking. I know this isn’t close to the worst of it. We are here volunteering but not local. We are still learning of and trying to find places where people need supplies or even a hot meal. We don’t have ATVs or dirt bikes to get into the places that are completely cut off. Thank you for your comment
The clean up and repair will take while sad but true. Thanks update😮
You’re welcome. It is sad
It will be a beautiful place again. Will take a long time but you all will get there. ❤

@@AcesDman7 thank you for the advice!
You passed my fav swimming hole halfway through. It’s not a swimming hole anymore. All the trees are gone.
I bet it was an awesome place to swim
What mother nature did in hours will take men years to repair and will still never be the same. Make America great again!
It’s unreal how much damage this created but people are working hard to fix it.
