New Zealand First list MP Casey Costello delivered her maiden speech in Parliament yesterday, highlighting family, long held values, and a drive to unite New Zealand.
That maiden speech had me in tears and I do believe that with people of that wonderful view of life in our Parliament we will get the necessary change we who voted for this coalition government wanted and our country needs 🙏👌
At last I hear a real Māori in a place that was meant to bring this nation together as one people. Such a huge difference from those Māori Activists who would, given the chance, split us asunder .
So correct, the likes of Casey Costello & James Meager warm our hearts and we proudly find the "real Maori" as opposed to the TPM and Green rabble who disrupt and disrespect our nation and are only there to grab their wages. James and Casey are outstanding Maori and both will go far as they have the nation's pride behind them.
Te Pati Maori would do well to take a leaf out this humble person's book. Well done Casey...well done. Winston will be proud to have you on his team....and Shane.

My personal and professional experience of you leaves me with absolute confidence, respect and admiration of your ethics, honesty, integrity, intelligence, and personal fortitude and power that makes you our fortune to have. I image you will become our first truly legitimately elected Lady (LADY) Prime minister of New Zealand. Please bring common sense, unity and Kiwi pride back to New Zealand. Please repeal the nonsense laws of the last 20+ years. Please bring the culprits and traitors that created the destruction of New Zealand and harm, death and division to our people. You are a special representation of our true spirit. I am a 3rd generation European. There is no indigenous race of New Zealand. We should all be one as we were in my early life. Difference was respected. There wasn't jealousy. Jealousy is destructive. What I believe in is personal accountability and fairness. Equal opportunity. If you think smarter work harder you do better. And everyone I know that's does better, when they grow up they give. But I'll never accept takers. So let's fix our social mental health and attitude. For example and not to say some justification in cases and we should offer social welfare but not leave the candy jar open for a free for all.
