    It's nice to watch videos about canola because there is no canola grown here in Minnesota. What I know about canola I learned from watching these videos. Thank you.

    I never thought this video would gain more than a couple hundred views! Now here we are at almost 100k! This video was produced for a presentation we do to educate people on canola growth, and I made this version of the video years ago. I am planning on remaking the entire video this year as our farm equipment and video equipment has gotten much better over the years! Thanks!

    Thank you for posting this amazing video showing the process from the begining to the end.
    I would like to see the updated one in 2019. I hope the chinese ban on canola seeds will be short lived.

    Nice Video! I see it every year when I go to Saskatchewan.When do you start spring seeding there?

    What fertilizer formulation do you use in planting? what planting spacing?

      We just use a dry granular fertilizer planted deeper than the seeds, which is composed of nitrogen and phosphorus. Spacing depends on the crop were growing, but usually you'll find a plant every couple of inches or so.
