Top speed?
Very nice, Im not sure if this page is still active but i may be picking up one exactly like yours and i was wondering if you have and tips or things to look out for on them?
Just bought this same 94 300 4x4 and am fixing it up. Can't wait to ride it and possibly upgrade the front lighting with some small LEDs like this machine.
Are you still running the Massey Combine?
I have developed skid plates for those Polaris Outlaw 90 & 110, check my socials, Sterk products.
А чому напряму незбираєте
I have the same one but my clutch is bad abs they want over $600 for a new one
Kawasaki 300 clutches work in Polaris 250 and 300 , 325
I know this a 5 year old post, but I'm curious how you mounted your winch. I just picked up a super clean version of the same quad.
how fast does it go?
@@natehurley7398 I got one they can go up to 60
@@natehurley7398 Faster than I want to drive a 25 year old quad.....
@@mattp9029lmao the other day I tried to do 50 but I was on icy highways up here in Canada, just slipping around and having fun
0:16 Tech-A-Smaa…LMAO! 😂 🤣 😆 Thank your public school system for failing you and ultimately, society! 👍
Unloading on the go with a truck. You don't see that very often
This is the exact quad i have! just need to fix it now
Howdy, U will double or triple engine life if U ride real easy just for a couple minutes to allow gradual parts expansion. I scuffed à piston, that is how I learned.
How does the chains hold up too abuse? I rode one of the original models in the mid to late 80's, and liked it, but was always worried about how long the chain would hold up, vs a shaft drive.
Mine still has the original ones, haven’t had any issues. Thing runs like a champ! Only downside is keeping them tight. The front wheel drive chain is a pain in the ass to get to.
In my experience working at a polaris dealership, chains hold up way longer than shaft drive. Grease and tighten them once a year and you'll never have problems
As long as your not like my quads old owner, you'll be perfectly fine with chain drive for a long time My quads previous owner somehow blew the sprocket up, lost the chain, put a hole in the transmission case, then he sold it to me
Same I am getting it tommorow
I’m about to buy one, should I?
i just bought a 300, motors are noisey.
That is not noise. It is a 2 stroke man. Way faster than a 4. That is the sound of victory.
@@ndanieltx he is probably referring to the fin raddle, or maybe his had case of piston slap, but I agree with the sound of victory haha I eat sleep and breath 2 strokes, from street bikes to MX bikes along with both 3 and 4 wheelers. Own over a dozen vintage 2 strokes along with a few Evo, and modern machines...nothing like the power application of a 2 stroke🍻
My first full size quad was a 1993 Trail blazer 250 2 stroke. Never had a problem with it accept the pull start breaking and freezing up in winter. It burned in a barn fire and my dad bought me a new Polaris 325 4 stroke. It was complete junk. I’ve had a couple more Polaris that were 4 strokes and they were all crap. I refused to ever have another Polaris until I ran across a old 1999 scrambler 400 2 stroke recently. It’s a blast!! I think Polaris made their best machines during the 2 stroke era. I wouldn’t trade my 400 2 stroke for a brand new Polaris
Technically their mid size quads, but either way their wide, their tall, their pretty, their fun, and the CVT delivers smooth power throughout acceleration, awesome quads aspecially as a starter quad! Bought my first ATV last summer, 1995 Polaris 300 2x4, blue and grey, I had to track down a transmission because the previous owner blew up the sprocket snd out a huge hole in the case, then my gas tank got super brittle and kept cracking, then my CDI unit went, but no matter what, that old thing keeps going, I plan to turn it into a full blown competition atv but keep the cvt
That’s not a normal idle for them sleds promise u
Parts ignition coil of dyna mark snow blower
I have this exact same snowblower, I bought it new from the Home Depot in Kitchener Ontario Canada in 1996 and still have it today, in fact I used to today to clear my driveway. It has always been an easy starting machine even on the coldest days with just the pull start, I rarely use the electric start. I have never had any problems with this unit, it was the best $899.99 I ever spent, is too bad their no longer in production.
Thanks for sharing this great video.

I have a 95 model 300 that I am rebuilding. All the fuel, oil and vent lines are off of it. Any chance you could take pictures of these so i can see where they all go? jgilmore7796@msn.com
That was my first 4 wheeer, loved that thing rode the wheels off of it.
What was it’s top speed
@@lorenzohightower7040 they will do 50mph tops
What kind of oil are you running in it? I just bought a 1995 one with a two stroke and cant find any information on it oil wise. The people i bought it from were going to fix it years ago and never touched it since they bought it. Edit: Man checking the prices yall paid for them is crazy. I got mine for a steal of a friggen deal then. i only paid 250 for mine, all it needs is a main seal, crab work, and an ignition switch (which the dealers want to fuck with me because I dont have proof of purchase.)
BepBepStev any 2 stroke oil will do, and nice buy man!
2 stroke score. Super easy to work on and even rebuild without all that stupid valvetrain.
@@ndanieltx Yea. I got mine up and running and use pennzoils 2 stroke oil. Runs like an absolute top, and I fixed the brakes and electrical earlier this year. Put some new tires on it as well. Last think I need to do is build a clutch cover, replace the tie rods, and clean the carb out once more, since the float is stuck.
Really it's a 2 stroke but you don't mix gas?
Smalley's Tree Service 2019 it mixes the gas for you with the carb
Snowmobiles are the same way there oil injected
You in Alton Iowa?
Smalley's Tree Service 2019 nope I’m in Canada
@@LelandsFarm 10-4, heard that in the video later on. Looking to buy one tonight for $850-950? Studying up first. Thanks!
Smalley's Tree Service 2019 that’s a good price, they are a good quad and easy to repair.
@@LelandsFarm will they handle a 6.5x12' trailer w/about 150-200lb tongue weight? Just moving a trailer around with firewood?
Smalley's Tree Service 2019 oh yeah it should
Thank you for posting this amazing video showing the process from the begining to the end. I would like to see the updated one in 2019. I hope the chinese ban on canola seeds will be short lived. great job and go go canadian canola farmers.
y z thanks for watching! The new video is half done, waiting for this season to happen to finish shooting the 4K video for each piece of equipment!
How do u adjust the speed plz tell me
I know this is an old video, but where do I put in the gear oil? Hopefully you see this thanks
Matt Gear oil for the trans?
Don’t they take gear oil in the crank case? My old yz did wasn’t sure if it took gear oil. But yes that too where is that located?
Matt if it’s a 2 stroke then no oil in the crankcase, just injection oil keeps it lubed. The trans is located just behind the right footwell cover.
Trans was completely dry. Thank you for telling me before it blew up! I appreciate the help.
@@LelandsFarm I stumbled across this video, so others may as well. The 350 and 400 liquid cool two strokes utilizes 10w30 engine oil. The dipstick to check level is between the carb and cylinder. Majority of the units I've seen had nasty oil that's never been changed in 2-3 decades.
It's nice to watch videos about canola because there is no canola grown here in Minnesota. What I know about canola I learned from watching these videos. Thank you.
thedonleroy thanks for watching!!
That thing is clapped out
nice video
Yeah it might sound better(in my option sounds like tin can) but that exhaust is so restrictive, when you put on basically any aftermarket exhaust, you gonna add 1/2 to 1 1/2 hp.
cool video
I have the same quad... any possibility u know where the stator wires plug into? Bought mine in pieces and cant seem to figure it out
There should be a three pin plug that it plugs into if i remember correctly.
There is the three pin plug but there is also about 3 or 4 other wires and I'm not sure where they will be located on the "fuse box"
Maybe get a close pic of ur fuse box for me and I can try to narrow it down
I sold that quad years ago sorry, I cant get a picture
U shouldn't ride à cold engine hard, way shortens engine life.
Trash
What fertilizer formulation do you use in planting? what planting spacing?
We just use a dry granular fertilizer planted deeper than the seeds, which is composed of nitrogen and phosphorus. Spacing depends on the crop were growing, but usually you'll find a plant every couple of inches or so.
Great video 👍
Thank You!
Is that the fan I hear when you turn the key on? Is it supposed to be on all the time?
Connor Wall there’s supposed to be a temperature sensor for the fan, but mine was broken. So I wired mine directly to the key.
LelandsFarm how did u do that I have a 350l that I’m working on and the fan won’t work I think because of the wiring
I just took my multimeter and found a wire that got power after the key was turned on, I replaced the old fan with some new waterproof fans that took less power to run.
If everything goes as planed I’ll get one Saturday
I never thought this video would gain more than a couple hundred views! Now here we are at almost 100k! This video was produced for a presentation we do to educate people on canola growth, and I made this version of the video years ago. I am planning on remaking the entire video this year as our farm equipment and video equipment has gotten much better over the years! Thanks!
Sweet ride man! These old Polaris wheelers are just awesome! Thank you for sharing!!
Nice Video! I see it every year when I go to Saskatchewan. When do you start spring seeding there?
Thanks! We usually start seeding late April - early May.
It goes flys because it’s a two stroke 😂
First time I have ever seen this plant wow great video thanks for sharing it !!!
Thank you so much!
I wonder if I did that to my 95 silverado and it's also a hunting truck would that be kinda high?
I have one on my 92 s10 hunting truck and I don't get no windshield glare and it shines bright I'm just tryin to figure something out
1988-1998 Chevy and gmc trucks are very similar so I would say it would do just fine
We just got the pink one for my daughter. The EFI is great. They should put that on all quads as standard equipment.
I miss when mine was that clean
