I’m so glad NCT Dream became a permanent group instead of a graduation system. They are my favorite NCT sub-unit. I can always count on a cute concept from them 😊
There was an article saying that NCT Dream will be like NCT U. It's gonna be a rotational group as well for the younger members of NCT. Maybe Sungchan and Shotaro will be part of the line-up someday.
@@kyoongb1699 No, they're rotational right now. They perform as 5,6 or 7. They're gonna be rotational among those 7 existing members but adding members I don't think that's gonna happen.
@@kyoongb1699 nct dream will sometimes perform as 5 or 7 depending on mark and heachan's schedule but they won't be adding new members since it's already a fixed unit
@@chenlegend i wouldn’t really call that rotational, it’s just that when other members have certain schedules or are busy they can’t perform. that’s not really intentional it just happens, especially with mark and haechan having a lot of 127 schedules which are prioritised over dream’s schedules.
@@kyoongb1699 that was when it was still a graduation type unit, the plan was that the older members would graduate but then since nct is infinite there would just be new members. they obviously scrapped that graduation concept so obviously they won’t be adding anyone.

Haechan really suits his voice in dream. Renjun and Chenle along with Haechan has chemistry in their voices. Plus the vocalists' voices can harmonize with all the dream's rapper which made them more amazing
i personally think haechan's vocals shines the most in dream' songs. he truly showcases his range, skills, talent, and versatility as an artist through dream's discography especially in their recent albums. he is such a genius and has a lot to offer and it shows when he's in dream.

For me, Hello Future is just on another level, but Beatbox is sooo refreshing and nice to hear and dance to. I genuinely hope that NCT Dream continues to produce such kind of songs in the future. The added songs are also good.

I completely agree, Haechan is my ult, however that didn’t happen until I started paying more attention to NCT Dreams discography. In my opinion, that’s where he really shines compared to 127’s discography. I think Dream has really found their sound, and I think it started around Ridin’ era, with “Love Again”. They do ‘feel good’ music so extremely well, songs that just make you happy, songs that you can just nod your head to anytime of the day, anytime of the year. I’m so glad you mentioned Bungee because it’s def one of my favorite Dream B-sides from their entire discography. Anyways, back to my original point, maybe it’s the vocal lines that he gets in Dreams songs, because while both Renjun and Chenle are also main vocals, Haechan tends to get the more standout vocal parts in their title tracks, whereas with 127, when hes sharing line distribution with amazing, maybe more matured vocals, like Taeil and Doyoung, it’s easier not to notice Haechans beautiful tone all the time. Ugh, I’m just in love with his vocal and the way he delivers his lines,and his personality, and he’s so handsome, okay I’m done LMAO.
true! he tends to get more high notes and WAY more challenging vocal parts in dream. Look at hello future, he's belting high notes through out that song, I remember seeing a 2 minute compilation of his high notes JUST from the hot sauce/ hello future album and was flabbergasted when I realized he had done that! I think that is also a testament to his abilities? within dream at least, he is, without a doubt THE most technically skilled vocalist (subjective tonal preference aside) so naturally he is trusted with 80-90% of the vocal heavy lifting in dream, like taeil and doyoung do in 127. So, yes he's given great parts BUT he also naturally has a tendency to make any part sound exceptional and coveted! A great vocalist can make even a mundane line stand out. But yes, his high notes are work of art!
Haechan is a master of the bridges. His vocals amplifies the other vocalists in whatever subunit he is in

This!! i got into nct through nct 127 and ngl he didn't stood out to me at first like i didn't pay much attention to him (biggest regret tbh) like i knew he has amazing vocals but i didn't appreciate it enough until i started getting into nct dream more and watching their content. He instantly became my ult, i just fell in love with him and his personality and just everything abt him.😩i regret ever sleeping on this man like i was so mad at myself lmao. Not only is he an amazing vocalist but a great fucking dancer too like the way he moves is so smooth and fluid its just soo satisfying to watch. I also love how in dream they get to do concepts like ridin & glimo but also more refreshing, high teen/cute concepts (i think thats also one of the reasons why he stood out to me in dream) whereas in 127 its more on experimental/edgier songs?? idk how to explain it lol. Nevertheless he owns any concept but imo he just shines in nct dream more like him in teddy bear?!!? that is HIS song!! also love again one of dreams best b sides😌anyways lee haechan ace.

01:56 thank you for saying that! i already had my tickets for kpopflex when people realized mark and haechan wouldnt come. everyone was complaining and i almost felt like i was weird for still looking forward to it. someone i know even said something like "the main characters are missing" because he got that impression from the way people were talking about it... jeno, jaemin, renjun, chenle and jisung are nct dream too and deserve to be seen. they did great!
If you don’t follow NCT DREAM I can see why someone would say that because Mark and Haechan have multiple units. But like you I also COMPLETELY disagree. Dream would be nothing without all of them but ESPECIALLY those who aren’t Mark and Haechan.
Mark and Haechan already show us something amazing in their 127 promotions. It would feel like they’re just doing the same thing if the other DREAM members weren’t there! It’s BECAUSE of them that Mark and Haechan get to do something different. It’s what completely makes them equals!
Idk how well these people will fair when NCT hits enlistment. Happened to EXO, although they were missing some or a great portion of the members, they are still who they are and do great together because of their chemistry and talent. SAME GOES FOR NCT, that’s why NCT U is so fresh and fun.

Jisung is the first NCT member I love the most as a dancer same as Haechan as a vocalist. And Haechan is one of my three favorite vocalists in Kpop.

What i love the most about dream is that they always make sure to remind us like "this is who we are, this is our music" even though people want them to try darker concepts i think the don't really need to change anything, even if they try different things in the future we know THIS is dream's best example of who they are. 💕
Same. I feel like Dream's concept is youth and youthfulness. And they have been through their phases like the iconic rebellious phase of Go, then flowering into a more nostalgic youth concept of We Go Up, then going for confident modes in Boom and Ridin'. But now I feel like the bright Dream stands tall even if some grungy elements are included in the title track of the studio albums. Dream, harking back to their Chewing Gum, My First and Last and We Young era, remains a breath of fresh air with their lighter concepts. I hope they keep that up. Notwithstanding their versatility, light and bright stuff really suit Dreamies. It's always good to see them smiling and having fun just like they had been since their debut song.
Well, i completely understand you about Haechan : he have this very unique and magnificent tone in his voice.
And btw for the history : he enter SM by one of the hardest (THE hardest audition) who was held and was picked by Lee Soo Man himself. He's a pearl, a genius.
about the chapters: I think SM was marking the main snippets for the tiktok/insta reels challenges they made prior to the release of the song. (They released these two snippets of the song like 2 weeks in advance through their SNS through multiple challenges)
Watching PD fall in love with NCT Dream is truly something special. It's something like watching your parent slowly getting along with your best friend, and than finally saying "what a great kid your friend is, I absolutely adore them". I fell for Dream unit in their We Go Up era and they have been my top 5 bg ever since. Not only they have amazing music that resonates with me, they also have crazy chemistry as a group. I think they are one of the craziest and funniest boy groups out there. I love them all immensely. Truly special boys. It took some time, but they became my favorite NCT unit.

Funny thing is, one of my highschool teacher was moving to Canada from Philippines. But before taking a flight Canada, he has to go to Korea and get on the flight there.
On his flight going to Korea, he was wondering why there was so much security in the airport and even inside the plane as well. Only to find out he was taking a flight to Korea together with NCT DREAM. He sent the class a selfie with Chenle and Renjuns backs as they passed by our teacher. I was literally crying about this. Truly, if you are a non-fan, you are most likely to meet celebrities than fans themselves. 😭😭
Our teacher also mentioned how handsome, beautiful skin, and how good they smelled (as the members passed by him) in real life. Im really malding rn, like I cant. Ill probably never get to see them live or get to see them in concert. Thanks for fanboying with us over trying to see NCT DREAM Live. 🥲💚

Yea I love how everyone is seeing how charming and good NCT Dreams music is. Ppl really opened up to Dream after hot sauce so it's such a shame that SM don't prioritize them more they have more to offer than ppl expect. I love the feel good vibes dream has. Haechan has more space to let his voice free in a dream song then 127 and Renjun and Chenle's voices just keep getting better and better

Not ONCE has 127 been deprived so Dream could be complete instead, it should be rotative instead of like this. Obviously people feel mistreated because Dream has more fans, is more popular and could be the top group right now if it wasn't for SM's negligence.
i think one of the factors why haechan seems to have more room to let his voice free or to showcase his vocal range in dream than in 127 is because dream is more balance as a team with 3 vocalists and 4 rappers while 127 has bigger ratio for the vocalist. im not saying it in a bad way and i listen to both group' entire discography, but i personally think haechan's vocals shines the most when he's in dream.

Did you forget that 127 had to wait 1.5 years to have a comeback because they had to wait for MarkHae to come back from Dream promotions. For the promotions to then be haphazardly cut because of NCT 2021.
SM is just bad at managing NCT, period, and out all the NCT units I think Dream has got the best promotion periods these past 2 years and they'll stay an active group for considerably longer time than 127. Who will go to military one by one every year after their cb.

Haechan's voice was the first I could differentiate out of allllll of NCT when I got into the group and didn't quite know about the units and fixed units etc 🤷🏽♀️😂 I feel you on that! And this song is absolutely an easy listen and the perfect summer bop 👌🏽

I love Beatbox, definititely more than Glitch Mode. It is a song that I can easily vibe to. The same thing happened with Hello Future. I really like the softer stuff of DREAM
NCT Dream is the only kpop group I constantly listen to. I managed to finish listening to all their songs a while a go while taking a 3 hour quiz. In that time, I realize they have really good side tracks I haven't even listen. Their songs make me feel good, calm and even have hope. During my darkest days, I listen to NCT dream. Whenever I feel like giving up, I listen to their songs. They just spark a message of hope and I love the message in some of their songs like "Life is still going on" and "Hello future". I feel like I can survive everyday with them. Their songs make me feel that way.
Renjun's voice is so smooth and beautiful
I knew I could trust Chenle when he said he really liked Beatbox as a title track. Because he said he felt this way towards Hello Future. And Hello Future is literally one of my top 3 fav NCT Dream title tracks ever.
Tbh I disliked Glitch Mode during my first listen. The album discography is quite different from what I’m used to hearing from NCT Dream (compare Hot Sauce and GliMo albums and you’ll get what I mean). But they eventually grew on me and now with the addition of Beatbox + To My First + Sorry, Heart + On My Way, I just fell for this album even more 🥺
Also he was the one who pushed the most for hello future to be a prerelease bc he said it was too good to just stay as a b side

Dreamies really nailed Beatbox for me, they are really one of the top groups to bring 'refreshing concept' to live everytime they decide to go with such concepts. I love it!
Dreamies actually have one of the best vocal lines for me, in terms of how well their tones go together, it's just always so smooth. The best ones are when their adlibs start to spill over each other's, THOSE ARE THE BEST KINDS.
p/s anybody is always ready to join the Haechan simp club ;) I love how Haechan gets to shine more in Dream just because 127 itself has so many incredible vocalists.

I saw them on kpopflex, but sadly I don’t remember much from their performance, because they were right after Mamamoo (my ult group) and I still didn’t calm down when they were performing 😅 But I really like Glitch mode and now Beatbox, definitely will keep listening to their music now

I really love this song so much, that even before I sleep I always listen to it.
Omg literally the same exact feelings about nct dream and specifically Haechan and now I have the biggest crush on Haechan! Not only for his voice but hes incredibly smart and funny and just overall an amazing person to watch!! Ive been a casual listener of nct since cherry bomb in 2017 but now theyre one of my ults and especially Dream!! Also like you said they just put me in a good mood and i can listen to them whenever they come on!! Nothing will top Hello Future for me though and that whole album. I love Glitch Mode but it was a grower. Hello Future is just that song for me that defines me stanning Dream and making them my ults, it will always be special for me
I do hope they will continue releasing this kind of songs.

NCT DREAM Repacked Album title tracks have that beautiful melody you'll love listening to all the time. It just gives that happy mood and makes you just smile althroughout the song.
Whenever I was not having a good day or I am having a hard time Hello Future was my breather. I'll just sing "gidaryeoso eosseowa" very loudly and it's already lifting my spirit high. Now i'll have Beatbox as well.
I totally get kind of suddenly realizing you've fallen in love with Haechan's voice. When 127 debuted with Fire Truck - before I was even actually into NCT, before I even knew who he was - I thought that one guy's (Haechan's) voice was annoying. But then Boss/BDS/Empathy happened and I really became an NCTzen and somewhere along the way I realized I now LOVE his voice (& his personality) and am begging SM for an official solo release through NCT Lab. Also, if "SM bridge" is basically its own genre, then "SM bridge featuring Haechan" is absolutely an official sub-genre.
I love Beatbox, but I envy PD in hearing it for the first time like this. I really dislike that they released snippets for Tik Tok/IG use several weeks ago, because even when the full song finally dropped there wasn't really anything surprising or new. If you follow them on either/both platforms, you'd already heard half of it over & over every day for weeks, and by the time it finally happened I wasn't nearly as excited for the release as I would've been if they hadn't done that. I'm well aware that it was a marketing strategy (that obviously backfired in my case) & will probably become commonplace from now on, but I wish they'd stick to just highlight medleys & MV teasers a couple days before the album drops.

Hey PD! dream members have mentioned that their repackage titles, hello future and beatbox, are homage to their earlier work as dream saying it has "that classic dream feel." I think which is why they do both feel like such uplifting, easy listens. Thinking back to their old titles like my first and last and we go up (even though i know you weren't as excited by their music then), now it just feels more mature and developed, just like them. the lighting issue --- the reason why one section looks ... obviously greenscreened, and the other part doesn't, is that in the section where they aren't wearing the same outfit, they're at an actual outdoor set [which is why jaemin is making that super puffy smile near the end---it was very, very bright]. i love dream so much for their bright and/or relaxed sound they generally have for all their albums. i love that i can put on most of their discography and it's beautiful and easy to listen to no matter what sort of mood i'm in or where i'm at. they're definitely my favorite [and haechan is my ult]. the album is so amazing and i wanna see these guys SO BAD.

I think it’s like a “marketing inside the song”.
SMEnt has top-notch marketing system to grab your attention and keep you interested no matter what the situation is or what the theme of the group/product/idea is.
And somehow this is used/reflected in NCT’s music.
Like if they were counting on every single detail and person to get them interested and to be able to play this song again in every moment possible
