I am so puzzled by this whole thing. She is a decent actress, especially with the right director ( _Hustlers_ ' Lorene Scafaria, _Out of Sight_ 's Steven Soderbergh, _Shall We Dance_ 's Peter Chelsom), she has a husband that has won two Oscars (one for writing Good Will Hunting, and one for directing Argo). If she really wanted to spend 30 million of her own money to make a movie, why not enlist her husband to write and/or direct a film about some cool fictional or adapted story instead of wasting that money and effort on a glorified commercial for an album that we all know would flop anyway? I like JLo, but she is an actress first and foremost, and her music career has always been an afterthought.

No, prime bought it for $30 million - so she made $10 million from it. Prime lost big time. She gets paid for her album up front, it flopped, so it's about whether she gets dropped from her label or not. My guess is they keep her on and she gets to finish her contract. She just didn't make anymore money from it's release. So, now it's just about whether or not her tour breaks even and if she can sell it for streaming.
The thing about Keanu is that he’s not really faking it. He’s just like that. He’s just himself. I think he took a pay cut from John Wick (or some other movie I don’t remember) just so everyone else that needed to get paid would get paid appropriately. That time when NFTs were in the rise and Keanu was one of the only ones to say that they were so stupid? He’s consistently real and humble and doesn’t let fame or money change him. I know he dropped some of his backend contract for the Matrix to ensure the SFX team was properly compensated and they had the funds to do what needed to be done. He cut his own salary for the Devil’s Advocate so they could afford Pacino because he really wanted to work with him. His whole goal is to make the best movie possible.
The biggest green flag is that he doesn’t like being praised for being a good person. He’s just a person, we all have good and bad in us, and generally we should try to be more good where we can. The documentary has been reminding me of something and I just couldn't put my finger on it, and today I suddenly remembered. "The Greatest Love Story Never Told" reminds me of comedian Julie Brown's 1991 movie "Medusa: Dare to be Truthful," a parody of Madonna's "Truth or Dare" documentary. Especially the parts with J-Lo and an increasingly annoyed Ben, which look like the Madonna/Sean Penn (Shane Pencil) scenes from that parody.
Started listening to this while I was getting ready for bed and kept hearing her say, "Medium Joe," and my brain assumed it was a medium like a person that claims to commune with the spirits. Then I started watching and realized it was fat Joe and I laughed and laughed.
I was listening while brushing my teeth, etc. in the morning, and when she mentioned J. Lo being into zodiac stuff, I thought she was insinuating that J. Lo collected Zodiac Killer memorabilia.
Meanwhile, Jennifer Garner is posting videos about her dogs and laughing at herself about how many packages of nuts she finds in her purse. They are not the same.
Her video where she had to give her cat a bath had me rolling and appreciating her even more. Even Jackson Galaxy reacted and fawned over what a great pet guardian she is. Now that’s Keanu levels of relatability
I think one of the reasons Keanu is still relatable is because he doesn't act like a 'better-than-thou' celebrity, or even a celebrity at all. My husband went to a bar a decade or so ago and sat on a bench at the back of the room with his drink, then a guy sat next to him drinking a beer and said "how's it goin?" and my husband was a bit "uh" that a stranger was talking to him, but then he looked at the guy and was surprised because it was...yeah, Keanu. They did a bit of small talk and then Keanu said he had to go because his band was ready to start playing. Anyway, the thing that struck hubby was how 'regular guy' and nice Keanu was. J-Lo is not known for humility or friendliness, and she is far past being able to seem relatable. That ship sailed and sank long ago.
Even so, he's also not at the pinnacle of his craft. He's a major star, but he's not at the top where others are trying to compete with him or start rumors because it will give them clout because he's so visible.

I just can't get past her sinking millions into this vanity project, yet there are MULTIPLE accounts of Ben giving generous tips to waiters only for Jen to come behind him and demand they give her the money back. I haven't seen her do this personally, so that is technically hearsay, but she ALWAYS makes the list of absolute rudest celebrities. So I have a feeling the stealing the tips back from restaurant staff isn't made up.

It's not made up. Back in the early 2000's service workers had their own site to let other workers know who was worth going the distance for and who to watch out for. Keep in mind, some celebs may monopolize most of your night with 1 table demanding special treatment and these people work for TIPS. J.lo always made the top worst. The two I remember the most was her leaving a 70 cent tip for $90 meal and just $10 for a $1200 dinner. Even Vegas mentioned something similar in 2016 during her residency. She's always been a bad tipper.
She’s awful! My brother was the manager at a huge car rental chain’s Miami office and when she was doing several shows in Miami a few years her team reached out for a rental for her……… they asked for a BRAND NEW, never driven Mercedes Benz convertible, had to be white with white leather interior and a bunch of other particulars. They purchased the vehicle and had it customized for her and when it was approved ALL STAFF had to sign the most insane NDA! No one but the manager (my brother) could talk directly to her and everyone had to avert their eyes when she came in. There was a bunch of stipulations about not looking at her ass, not looking at her in the eyes, not looking at her period. They basically had to pretend she wasn’t there BUT, they were expected to welcome her. She was so rude to my brother and he said the only thing about the experience that was remotely decent was that she is way more beautiful in person… which was annoying. She drove the car out, paparazzi of course just so happened to be there, and she had the car returned and it was never driven in the time that she had it.

If she really wanted to spend 30 million of her own money to make a movie, why not enlist her husband to write and/or direct a film about some cool fictional or adapted story instead of wasting that money and effort on a glorified commercial for an album that we all know would flop anyway? I like JLo, but she is an actress first and foremost, and her music career has always been an afterthought.

The documentary has been reminding me of something and I just couldn't put my finger on it, and today I suddenly remembered. "The Greatest Love Story Never Told" reminds me of comedian Julie Brown's 1991 movie "Medusa: Dare to be Truthful," a parody of Madonna's "Truth or Dare" documentary. Especially the parts with J-Lo and an increasingly annoyed Ben, which look like the Madonna/Sean Penn (Shane Pencil) scenes from that parody.

I think one of the reasons Keanu is still relatable is because he doesn't act like a 'better-than-thou' celebrity, or even a celebrity at all. My husband went to a bar a decade or so ago and sat on a bench at the back of the room with his drink, then a guy sat next to him drinking a beer and said "how's it goin?" and my husband was a bit "uh" that a stranger was talking to him, but then he looked at the guy and was surprised because it was...yeah, Keanu. They did a bit of small talk and then Keanu said he had to go because his band was ready to start playing. Anyway, the thing that struck hubby was how 'regular guy' and nice Keanu was. J-Lo is not known for humility or friendliness, and she is far past being able to seem relatable. That ship sailed and sank long ago.
Even so, he's also not at the pinnacle of his craft. He's a major star, but he's not at the top where others are trying to compete with him or start rumors because it will give them clout because he's so visible.

It's not made up. Back in the early 2000's service workers had their own site to let other workers know who was worth going the distance for and who to watch out for. Keep in mind, some celebs may monopolize most of your night with 1 table demanding special treatment and these people work for TIPS. J.lo always made the top worst. The two I remember the most was her leaving a 70 cent tip for $90 meal and just $10 for a $1200 dinner. Even Vegas mentioned something similar in 2016 during her residency. She's always been a bad tipper.

My brother was the manager at a huge car rental chain’s Miami office and when she was doing several shows in Miami a few years her team reached out for a rental for her……… they asked for a BRAND NEW, never driven Mercedes Benz convertible, had to be white with white leather interior and a bunch of other particulars. They purchased the vehicle and had it customized for her and when it was approved ALL STAFF had to sign the most insane NDA! No one but the manager (my brother) could talk directly to her and everyone had to avert their eyes when she came in. There was a bunch of stipulations about not looking at her ass, not looking at her in the eyes, not looking at her period. They basically had to pretend she wasn’t there BUT, they were expected to welcome her. She was so rude to my brother and he said the only thing about the experience that was remotely decent was that she is way more beautiful in person… which was annoying. She drove the car out, paparazzi of course just so happened to be there, and she had the car returned and it was never driven in the time that she had it.
