    Hey guys! My apologies for my 2 year old twins playing and screaming in the background #momlife Hopefully it doesn’t distract you too much. I’ll do a better job of having my husband take them to their playroom while I record my videos. Thanks for your support!

I don’t have twins but my boys are 13 months apart so I can understand the struggle at times but us moms understand girl no need to apologize! I love all of your content and I’ll be selling my bombs this week, continued support over here ❤️

    Have to include your hourly rate how long it takes to prep, make etc, travel and time spent for supplies, plus cost of utilities, like electricity, water, etc. plus clean up also is included in that to and overhead. Be surprised how much everything adds up. Nice work! They look nice.

    Merckens are so good.... I just started but found a supplier small business who has them. However, I mix other chocolates with it that are lower priced as well they carry. Buying in bulk I get a discount. Candy melts I can taste the chemicals but other people can’t so it depends on the customer and your business to be honest.... It’s just great to have options in case something happens you have a backup

    Thanks for this. I decided to sell these for Christmas and I was going through everything you had in this video last night. I got my packaging, (0.67 each), I was able to find my molds, (I ordered on Sat, it shipped yesterday, and I got them this morning (on Amazon). I can provide the link if anyone is interested (large mold) but it is a bit more expensive (16.99 for a 2 pack) cause you get a guaranteed 2 day turn around and it's on prime (it was hard to find one on prime but I found it cause I wasn't taking any chances) - everyone else says you will get it within a certain time but after looking at the reviews where others have said it's been over a month and they haven't gotten it, I thought to take extra precautions. Oh, I also bought a box of hot chocolate $20-24for 35 (variety pack) so that helps me with the 2 major things (if you need that link I could provide as well). Overall, Thank you again for this video. I am selling 6 different flavors this holiday (I have everything). 🙂🙂🙂

      @TheStationBakery  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    • @baybeetricia

      Just in case anyone is interested here are the links for the items that I got:
      Mold (Large): www.amazon.com/gp/product/B083NFWBQ5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
      When you get on the page, it's going to say $9.58 (current price) with free shipping but don''t add that to your cart. Scroll down til you get to "Compare with similar items" and click on that link. It will give you a few more options inclusive of a single prime option. That's what I got ($16.99).
      Hot Chocolate: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Y3YYKXZ/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
      Much like above, you can scroll down and go to "Compare with similar items" and choose any prime option that you like. The seller I bought the variety pack has since increased the price that I bought it for but you can choose any prime option (with the actual logo present and not just words cause that will lead to issues and delays) you like. Starting price for those are $23.91 (currently)
      Containers: (locally so, sorry no link).

    Hey Girl, also just a note. Do your research on the cottage law if I am not mistaken, the seller needs to give their homemade product directly to the customer. Can't be selling on let's say Etsy. Unless, I'm mistaken. Please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks so much for your guidance on marketing. You have such a beautiful spirit about you. Blessings!

    • @TheStationBakery
      @TheStationBakery  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nope, you are totally right!! That’s why I encourage everyone who is starting up this business or people who are already “in business” to check their local laws to make sure they are doing things legally. Selling actual bombs on Etsy is a no no for cottage bakers, shipping across state lines is illegal. Thanks for mentioning it!

    Plus factor in your time. How long does it take to make 1 chocolate bomb. If it takes 1 hour then at $10 each may not profitable enough to you.

    I like your videos. I have started messing around with cocoa bombs, but I am finding when unmolding or straightening my edges, I am getting fingerprints on the outside of the shell. Mostly on the milk chocolate. How do I avoid that. You can even see where I touched it, when wearing gloves. I appreciate your help!

    • @TheStationBakery
      @TheStationBakery  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you so much!! It could be a few things. It could be the chocolate you’re using it that your hands are too warm. Trying holding some ice or something cool before touching and see if that helps. Also, if drizzling or decorating, the fingerprints won’t really matter 😉

    • @jcoleRRT
      @jcoleRRT 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TheStationBakery Thank you so much for your reply. I have been taking a lint free cloth and wiping the whole bomb to disguise the fingerprints before I do my drizzle.

    Your videos are good the only thing I would say almond bark isn't good quality if you are selling to people and want them to love your product you dont have to temper ghirardelli wafers its compound chocolate merkens is a great invest directly from the merkens website because your return on your product is gonna be good
