- I receive a ton of questions asking if I ever tried "this" product or "that" product. I even get cussed out at times for being old school LOL. Allow me to bring back the good ol' days when we just used a little water and some basic skills while perfoming a sample video of my fleet wash hustle.

You sure do get those trucks looking cleaner! You must have had your washer at the full 4000-PSI, cause that engine was struggling a bit. Its amazing just how dirty those trucks actually get. But its equally amazing seeing how much cleaner they get after you have had a go at them lol.

@@javonfreeman in a previous video he said the company wouldn’t pay $150 for a full detail on dump trucks. So it’s under $150 per truck.

How much do you usually charge for the basic wash?
I used to use a turbo nozzle with high pressure soap upstream injection hot water
Whats a good price to charge per truck ?
Are the bugs coming off the grill and window ?
Thinking about taking on some fleet washing. 2 questions. How much do you usually charge per truck? Who moves the trucks?
I move the trucks and $50 for touch free seems to be fair at 2 trucks an hour as long as there is 8 or more trucks.
What about for heavy equipment? Does 100 dollar per equipment sound fair?

Dan, serious question. Blue Max trucks are fairly new and they have polish from the factory. Aluminum brightener eats away the polish. Why are you using that? Thats thousands of dollars worth of polish slowly being removed and will eventually give it haze.

I always watch all your videos !! I'm about to start my business I'm going to wash trucks! how much is the cost to wash trucks? how much do i have to charge?
It costs me approximately 70 cents per truck. That's based on a $50 - 5 gallon bucket of Bright doing 100 trucks and 2 gallons of ethanol free fuel also doing the same 100 trucks. Then add in maintenance for the pressure washer and fuel for the tow vehicle, maybe cost me $1.00 per truck. I can do 2 trucks an hour (including driving them back and forth to set up to wash) so I charge an hourly rate I am comfortable with. You have to decide YOUR hourly rate ($60 or more?) that means $30 or more per truck and of course only you know what you want. What I want is not going to be public knowledge. Just know, it is much more than $60 an hour

How much u get for a wash ? 50-75$
What kind pressure washer and psi and gum?
It’s a Honda GX 270 engine with a 4GPM 4,000 PSI AR pump. I am not sure if the wand handle/trigger brand but it is capable of flowing a 10 GPM pump

Just do some scrubbing after presoak 😂 then a lil soap and degreaser
Do you diluted the brightener?
Yes
I found some cheap O Reilly’s hard plastic flaps worked well for me. (Rough haul and dirt)

What I forgot about washing trucks, you haven't learned yet. By the time you got one side washed, and I mean Washed with soap and water, not just prep the trucks and then rinse it.I used real soap and brightened the aluminum in the same step and then i switched to soap to cut the grease and everything and brightened everything. Then i switched to rinse all without changing nozzles or leaving the work area. I had over thirty years of experience under my belt and over thirty thousand dollars worth of equipment in my truck. I use to do over 105 trucks in a day and they came out nice, and i had some very large fleets of trucks. All you did here, i didn't see much soap and it took you longer to do one side than i did to do the entire dump truck.

I still mow once a month Nov - Feb as part of the $70 a month flat rate pricing. Some yards I just edged and cleaned up leaves

Someone please teach this man how to properly fleet wash before he screw things up! Proper technique and proper chemicals should allow you to clean this truck in under 10 minutes with hardly any pressure and absolutely NO turbo nozzle. And before anyone screams “10 minutes “!!! Let me tell you yes! That size truck from start to finish should take no more than 10 minutes. I fleet wash myself with full size 18 wheelers and it takes me just under 15 minutes and to some that’s even slow

We don’t discuss that but I will say I see rates in my area as high as $75 a truck and as low as 25 per but with a 10 truck minimum
