Reference to that club in Chicago, the Empty Bottle or Fireside, or punk club of the like. They had this cheap-ass fuckin disco ball in the the middle of the floor like every other punk club that think it’s a fantastic ironic joke or something. Well Jay tried a few times he played there. Finally, he took a running jump and Iggy Pop style grabbed and smashed that ball that did turn out to be such a cheap knockoff it was like a globe with pieces of mirror glued to it. And the owner cried about it and banned Jay from playing the club again! Hahahaha!
