Van, this is a great build guide for those about to set sail on building this model. As soon as I compete the current model I am building, this is the next boat on my list to build. I can hope the issues you came across "might" be rectified when I am ready to build. My model is #75, so I will cross my fingers hope for the best. Looking forward to video #2!
Normally, you should attatch the planks alternatingly, one on the port, then one on the starboard side. It will always prevent the warping of the hull. Otherwise, if you‘re unlucky, you‘ll get a bent keel.
Interesting. It’s been six months and the keel is still straight. My biggest concern is low humidity (Vegas) and warping. Joe, from GenoJoeModeling has started a Vlog of his Santa Maria build. It will be interesting to see how his planking turns out.
According to him he had twelve people build this with no problems. It’s all my fault since I’m not a professional. Check out Part 4 of this series and read all the comments. You might get a kick out of it.

Nothing more annoying than missing parts and incorrect dimensions. You did a great job though. I tend to stick with Occre and Caldercraft models with no issues. 👍

Unfortunately no. All I have are the instruction manual and 1 to 1 prints not actual blue prints. There for reference only.

Pelo valor alto desse kit nao deveria de forma alguma ter tantos defeitos de projeto, ainda mais faltando peças!
